Whitaker Cleared to Oversee Trump-Russia Investigation
Posted by: Mystic Wanderer - 12-20-2018, 05:14 PM - Forum: Political News and more - Replies (1)

Ha-ha-ha-ha!  Man, O Man, the Deep State isn't going to be happy about this.  They have been fighting to stop Whitaker from over-seeing the Mueller investigation ever since he was appointed Acting AG by President Trump.
Wonder what they're afraid he'll find?   minusculethinking  I have a feeling it won't be much longer before the investigation is closed, and hopefully, the public will know.

Quote:Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker will not recuse himself from overseeing the Russia probe, despite mounting pressure from Democrats who cite his “hostility” toward Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his investigation.

A source familiar with the matter told Fox News on Thursday that Whitaker met with Justice Department ethics officials this week, who told him he was not precluded from overseeing Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election.

Whitaker, who served as chief of staff to former Attorney General Jeff Sessions until Sessions was fired, has faced extreme pressure from Democrats to recuse himself to ensure that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein continues in that role.

Sessions recused himself from overseeing the probe due to his work on the Trump campaign in 2016, turning control to Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller on May 17, 2017. Sessions, whose resignation was requested in early November, had been criticized by Trump throughout his tenure at the Justice Department due to the decision to recuse himself from the investigation.

Whitaker’s new role includes oversight of the Russia investigation, along with the agency’s other federal investigations, including the New York prosecutors’ look into the finances of Trump and his former aides.
But Democrats and 18 state attorneys general blasted Whitaker’s appointment, pointing to his past comments in the media about the investigation.

In an op-ed Whitaker wrote last year, he argued that Rosenstein should “order Mueller to limit the scope of his investigation to the four corners of the order appointing the special counsel.”

“If he doesn’t, then Mueller’s investigation will eventually start to look like a political fishing expedition,” Whitaker wrote. This would not only be out of character for a respected figure like Mueller, but also could be damaging to the President of the United States and his family—and by extension, to the country.”

The quiet Contract.

Quote:A Texas Elementary School Speech Pathologist Refused to Sign a Pro-Israel Oath, Now Mandatory in
Many States -so She Lost Her Job

'A children's Speech Pathologist who has worked for the last nine years with developmentally disabled,
autistic, and speech-impaired elementary school students in Austin, Texas, has been told that she can
no longer work with the public school district, after she refused to sign an oath vowing that she “does not”
and “will not” engage in a boycott of Israel or “otherwise tak[e] any action that is intended to inflict economic
harm” on that foreign nation.

A lawsuit on her behalf was filed early Monday morning in a federal court in the Western District of Texas,
alleging a violation of her First Amendment right of free speech.

The child language specialist, Bahia Amawi, is a U.S. citizen who received a master’s degree in speech
pathology in 1999 and, since then, has specialized in evaluations for young children with language difficulties.
Amawi was born in Austria and has lived in the U.S. for the last 30 years, fluently speaks three languages
(English, German, and Arabic), and has four U.S.-born American children of her own.

Amawi began working in 2009 on a contract basis with the Pflugerville Independent School District, which
includes Austin, to provide assessments and support for school children from the county’s growing Arabic
-speaking immigrant community.

The children with whom she has worked span the ages of 3 to 11. Ever since her work for the school district
began in 2009, her contract was renewed each year with no controversy or problem.

But this year, all of that changed. On August 13, the school district once again offered to extend her contract
for another year by sending her essentially the same contract and set of certifications she has received and
signed at the end of each year since 2009.

She was prepared to sign her contract renewal until she noticed one new, and extremely significant, addition:
a certification she was required to sign pledging that she “does not currently boycott Israel,” that she “will not
boycott Israel during the term of the contract,” and that she shall refrain from any action “that is intended to
penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing
business in Israeli or in an Israel-controlled territory.”

The language of the affirmation Amawi was told she must sign reads like Orwellian -or McCarthyite -self-parody,
the classic political loyalty oath that every American should instinctively shudder upon reading:

That language would bar Amawi not only from refraining from buying goods from companies located within Israel,
but also from any Israeli companies operating in the occupied West Bank (“an Israeli-controlled territory”).
The oath given to Amawi would also likely prohibit her even from advocating such a boycott given that such speech
could be seen as “intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel.”

'...At the time that Texas enacted the law barring contractors from supporting a boycott of Israel, it was

the 17th state in the country to do so. As of now, 26 states have enacted such laws -including blue states
run by Democrats such as New York, California, and New Jersey -while similar bills are pending in
another 13 states.

This map compiled by Palestine Legal shows how pervasive various forms of Israel loyalty oath
requirements have become in the U.S.; the states in red are ones where such laws are already enacted,
while the states in the darker shade are ones where such bills are pending:

Run-Run As Fast As You Can, OMG, The Harassing Gingerbread Man!
Posted by: BIAD - 12-18-2018, 01:30 PM - Forum: General News and Events - Replies (4)

It seems the eternal mystery of what Scotsmen wear under their kilts is now coming in second place
against the massive bouts of sexual harassment that is taking place in the halls of Scottish control.

Where some wary women would possible carry a weapon or take-up martial arts, maybe even use the
shame-card to hold the pervert accountable -that's if the male can be identified from the many committee
rooms of Holyrood.

Instead, the Parliament's defence of the frisky fingers and bulging trousers came in a different form.

Quote:Gingerbread men banned at Scottish Parliament as part of a new drive to 'stamp out sexism'

*Gingerbread men are replaced by gingerbread persons in Scottish Parliament
*The Parliament coffee shop re-named the sweet treat in case it causes offence
*A survey found 30 per cent of women working in the Scottish Parliament believed
they had been sexually harassed

'Gingerbread men have been replaced by gingerbread persons in the Scottish Parliament’s coffee shop
in case the traditional name causes offence. The move comes as a strategy aimed at stamping out sexual
harassment and sexism was introduced at Holyrood this week after a survey found 30 per cent of women
working there believed they had been sexually harassed...'

Jeez...! the Scottish Parliament are building up their tie-wearing rapists and molesters in order to counter
the English Parliament's sexual exploits? Can't decent men be elected anymore?!

Quote:[Image: attachment.php?aid=4944]

'...But the decision to rename the sweet treat has not gone down well with everyone.

Scottish Conservative equalities spokesman Annie Wells said: ‘Surely the Scottish Parliament has got better
things to do than worry about what to call gingerbread men? This is an utterly pointless gesture which simply
trivialises the real issues of gender equality.’...'

Maybe the inanimate biscuits are the culprits...? It explains why tea and milk were invented.

Quote:'...A Scottish Parliament spokesman would not comment except to say: ‘They [the gingerbread persons] were
delicious and sold out.’...'
The MailOnline:

"A survey found 30 per cent of women working in the Scottish Parliament believed they had been sexually harassed"
So 60% of women enjoy it or are ugly?

This should make you question, "Menstruation and Children"

I'm telling you, this is CRAZY!

Quote:Boys can have periods too, children to be taught in latest victory for transgender campaigners
WHEN!!??  tinywhat When did a Male Child have a Period?????  tinybighuh
Who are these Crazy Ass People who think we need to teach children (young boys) in school about Periods and the Products for Periods? minusculeheadbanging

Quote:School children will be taught that "all genders" can have periods in new sex education lessons, in a victory for transgender rights campaigners.

The advice to teachers was approved by Brighton & Hove City Council as they try to tackle stigma around menstruation.

The new advice follows a council report which said: "Trans boys and men and non-binary people may have periods", adding that "menstruation must be inclusive of all genders".

Bins used for menstruation products will be provided in all toilets for children, according to the report.

It also calls for transgender students and pupils to be provided with additional support from a school nurse if needed.

The report recommends that "language and learning about periods is inclusive of all genders, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations. For example; ‘girls and women and others who have periods'".
How Damn Crazy is this, Transgender Students and Pupils are to Provide Support to the School Nurse!!?? WTF  minusculewtf FOR!!!! How to apply a Panty Liner or insert a Tampon?
Is that who you want helping your little girl at the schools nurse office showing her how to insert her first Tampon, you want some strange Transgender guy? The Football Coach maybe? tinysurprised

Quote:Brighton & Hove City Council said in a statement: "By encouraging effective education on menstruation and puberty, we hope to reduce stigma and ensure no child or young person feels shame in asking for period products inside or outside of school if they need them.

"We believe that it’s important for all genders to be able to learn and talk about menstruation together… Our approach recognises the fact that some people who have periods are trans or non-binary."

The same council also recently released a "Trans Inclusion Schools Toolkit" to help teachers treat gender identity sensitively.

Quote:Skewered Alive: Factory robot impales worker with 10 foot-long steel spikes after horror malfunction

The 49-year-old was on the night shift at a porcelain factory in China when the accident happened.

'A Chinese factory worker has survived being skewered with ten metal spikes when a robot malfunctioned.
The 49-year-old, named as Mr Zhou, was working on the night shift at a porcelain factory in Hunan province
when he was struck by a falling robotic arm.

The accident resulted in him being impaled with foot long, half-inch thick metal rods, the People’s Daily reported.
He was first taken to a local hospital before he was transferred to the Xiangya Hospital of Central South University
due to the severity of his injuries.
Six steel rods fixed on a steel plate pierced his right shoulder and chest, and four penetrated elsewhere in his body.
During the operation, doctors found that one of the rods missed an artery by just 0.1mm.

The rods also prevented doctors from carrying out X-rays before the operation.
“They were relatively big so there was no means of getting fitting the patient into the X-ray machine while the nails
themselves could have caused interference with X-rays," said Wu Panfeng, an associate professor of hand
microsurgery. Surgeons worked through the night to take out all of the rods in Mr Zhou's body.

His condition is now described as stable and he will undergo treatment and physiotherapy to assist his recovery,
and he is already able to move his right arm.

Mr Zhou was lucky not to suffer the same fate as American factory worker Wanda Holbrook.

The maintenance technician was killed by rogue robot who had veered into the area she was working in and crushed
her head. The 57-year-old was inspecting machinery in an area where components were assembled when the robot
“took Wanda by surprise, entering the section she was working in", court documents filed at the time said.

In 2015, another car industry worker, this time in Germany, was also killed by a robot.
The unnamed 22-year-old man was part of a team that was setting up the stationary robot at a Volkswagen plant
when it grabbed and crushed him against a metal plate,

Last year, a construction worker miraculously survived after he was electrocuted, thrown from his workstation and
then impaled through the anus by a four-foot steel bar. Yang Ming, 37, had accidentally touched live wires on a building
site and the shock sent him flying backwards onto the protruding metal rod.
Rescuers left the pole inside and rushed him to hospital so surgeons could fish it out.

Ming had to undergo seven hours of surgery at the Sichuan University West China Hospital in Chengdu, capital of
China’s south-western Sichuan Province...'

  An Extra $500 A Month?
Posted by: guohua - 12-15-2018, 05:06 PM - Forum: Political News and more - Replies (7)

California Deserves it's own Sections for Threads.
That State has to be the Craziest Place next to New York in America.
Yes, California is truly the becoming the Home of True Democratic Socialism.

Their newest experiment in buying votes and keeping the Sheeple Dependent of their Government is,,,,,,,

Quote:CA City First In Nation To Launch 'Basic Income Program'...

Quote:An Extra $500 A Month? 100 Residents To Be Selected For Basic Income Pilot Program
That's right, the residence of California who actually pays income taxes are giving away their taxes tooooooooooo, who I ask you? Really, who are these lucky winners of an extra $500. a month.
They claim struggling families, but how do they really know that family is struggling?
Think about it, if they had practiced good Family Planning, they wouldn't have those 6 kids to feed plus the 16 year old daughters baby.
Am I Ranting or am I correct?

Basic income on top of welfare, wonderful. Just like San Fran giving out free needles to addicts. They showed up from all over the country to San Fran & the dealers followed them. Shear insanity. I bet illegals are eligible.
Five hundred dollars a month, paid for by working taxpayers, to a select few who did not earn it. What could possibly go wrong?

Yea, Tax Payer, don't you think it's time to move?
Quote:STOCKTON (CBS13) — A special letter mail carriers are delivering to hundreds of homes in Stockton will hopefully bring a little financial relief in the New Year.

The money is part of the city’s basic income pilot program. Stockton is the first city in the country to launch it.

The letter 1,200 people will be receiving over the next few days does not mean people will automatically receive money but it brings them closer to potentially being selected.

Stockton dad Jose Miranda works hard to save his money, but setting aside a small portion of his paycheck every other week can be a challenge.  He says his expenses just keep piling up.

“Kids you know, my kids. I spend money on my kids the most, I think. And rent, in particular. Food and phone,” said Miranda.
Kids??? Like I stated above you may have to many kids. Why did you use a rubber or the pill?

Quote:Miranda lives in a neighborhood where the median income is at or below 46-thousand dollars.  It’s one of the areas the Stockton Economic Empowerment Demonstration program (SEED) is sending letters to people who may be eligible to get $500
a month with no strings attached.

“I think for the people that really need it, it will be good for them, like a lot of people say groceries, rent, car payment, even if you want to help a family member, anything extra is good to get,” Miranda said.

A team of independent researchers will pick 100 people to receive the money.  The purpose is to study how an extra $500 a month impacts people’s health and stress level. Researchers are also looking to see if people feel financially secure.
Did you ever think about moving to a less expensive state to line in?
What is stopping you? To many kids to pack up and move?
Jobs are plentiful now, every one is hiring.

There are many States much cheaper to live in that California.

Now think about this Team of independent researchers.  Just what are their Nationality and what neighborhoods will they be looking at?

Quote:The researchers will also have a comparison group as part of the program. It consists of 200 additional people who will get a $20 gift card for filling out surveys and provide feedback.

“People who are working incredibly hard are smart and they don’t have money because they are not good with money, they don’t have money because jobs aren’t paying enough for folks to live and survive. We believe something as small as $500 a month can make a world of difference,” he said.

People who receive a letter from SEED have until December 23rd to fill out a consent form online. The 100 people selected will be noticed by mid-January. The money will be delivered to those individuals soon after that.
Source of the Stupidity
If they aren't smart with their money,,, What does that mean? Others have to Support Their Bad Habits?????? minusculeredtantrum
