Time Magazine Article, My Thoughts. It Isn't What it Seems.
Posted by: Wide-Eyes - 02-09-2021, 07:34 PM - Forum: Hot Button Issues - Replies (15)

So I just posted this on TOS and I would like to put it out there for our lovable Rogues to read and hopefully posit your thoughts about my thoughts.

I hope this is well received and please don't hesitate to tell me what you think even if it is critical.

First of all the link: https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/

I think that this is a Cover Story for the Dems' "Win"...

So I double posted, I may as well use this opportunity to expand 0n my previous post.

I think that the election was rigged through Dominion voting machines in swing States.

They know they rigged it and they know that we know they rigged it.

This cover story is a way for them to admit that they rigged an election without actually admitting how they rigged it.

I can now see why the MSM were almost advertising the censorship campaigns and celebrating their success...

It's because they wanted everyone to see how the Dems and the Left in general were engineering their most celebrated "Win" against the Evil Orange Man.

I call BS.

They rigged it through the machines and this Time Cover Story, as dastardly as it sounds, is just Smoke and Mirrors for the horrifying Truth that the American people just got hosed by a dictatorial regime.

  A child's dreams of greatness
Posted by: 727Sky - 02-09-2021, 02:53 AM - Forum: Short Stories - No Replies

It was a time of city states where warfare was conducted with sword, bow, and horse.

One day Limi stood by his father's shop as the Great King's honor guard marched by. What a grand sight to behold! Their burnished armor gleamed in the mid-day sun and the way they carried themselves with pride and purpose was something that Limi became completely in awe and impressed by.

After the Guards marched past Limi went to his father and at the tender age of 8 declared he had finally decided what he wanted to be when he grew up, "I want to be a soldier"!

Limi's father, after some consideration closed the shop down and took Limi to see the great hero and general who had saved the city during the last big war.

The General with his great cunning and bravery along with his hand picked troops had defeated a much larger army in a northern valley before the enemy could sack the city. Songs were still sung about the General and his leadership which was looked upon as being only second to the Great King's. Many believed the General's current circumstances were the result of the songs and admiration he received from the people for it was not nice to upstage any King.

They found the hero sitting under a tree on a small hill just inside the secondary wall of the city.

Limi's father knew the General would be there for that is where the Hero sat everyday. Introductions were made and the hero (for a small offering) was coached into telling of the great battles he had fought.

As he spoke Limi could not get over how the once great hero had been reduced to an old man with nothing but a bowl which was used for collecting money to tell stories about his past deeds.

The afternoon passed and as the old hero paused, another coin was used to invigorate the story telling.

During supper that evening Limi's father asked his son if he thought he still wanted to be a hero soldier and warrior for the King's city ?

As time passed, Limi grew into a fine young man who studied under the tutorage of the greatest Doctor in the city as an apprentice. He was by his father bedside when the old man passed away with his last words being, " I am so proud of you my son".

Limi who was now a healer developed a way of using two spoons to remove a barbed arrow head. Limi was also the first healer to be subsidized (paid) by 4 city states to start an actual medical college which taught his art of healing to others. He was the first to use boiled horse tail stitches to close wounds. He developed many useful tools for his craft as Kings and soldiers from all over came to be seen by Limi the Master Healer.

As in all life Limi's time to pass was apparent so he called all his wives and children to his bedside to bid farewell.

All recognized a great man who had given life to so many was now in his final hours before the death of this life.

Upon his passing Limi's body was placed on a funeral pyre and for the first time in the regions history people came from many city states to wish Limi on to the next life.

His college remained a house of education for the next several years until the barbarians came through the region and destroyed almost everything in their blood lust... Nothing remains to this very day except for some of the tools Limi developed to save lives..

The End

Smile Tampa mayor upset over maskless fans after Super Bowl
Posted by: xuenchen - 02-09-2021, 02:13 AM - Forum: Political News and more - Replies (4)

Democrats still on the wild mask binge !!

The latest is the Mayor of Tampa Florida.

She's on a snot slap about some people not wearing masks while celebrating The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl victory.

She say the cops are gunna git ya now !!

If this crap was so dangerous, why didn't the Government issue N100 Masks last year ?

Yes N100 masks are better than N95's and really better than the cheap ass masks most people are using.

Quote:So much for the mayor’s order requiring masks at Super Bowl parties. Throngs of mostly maskless fans took to the streets and packed sports bars as the clock inside Raymond James Stadium ticked down on a hometown Super Bowl win for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“It is a little frustrating because we have worked so hard,” Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said during a Monday morning news conference with the Super Bowl Host Committee. “At this point in dealing with COVID-19, there is a level of frustration when you see that.”

Some 200,000 masks were handed out ahead of the game, and “a majority” of people and businesses followed the rules, she said.

  Hopeless? Government to the Rescue!
Posted by: Mystic Wanderer - 02-08-2021, 05:31 PM - Forum: Off Topic - Replies (3)

Quote:President Joe Biden again sounded a dark note on the state of the American economy after the employment numbers were released Friday.

“It’s very clear that our economy is in trouble,” he said during a speech at the White House, highlighting the difficulties for Americans during the coronavirus pandemic.

Reminds me of Obama's speech about how manufacturing jobs would never come back to the U.S., except they did... under the Trump administration.
Don't you just love a "leader" who leaves you feeling more depressed and hopeless than you were to begin with after hearing him speak?

That's one thing Donald Trump excelled at: Giving hope. Hope goes a long way.

Quote:Biden spoke about the hopelessness in the country, pointing to the rise in suicides, drug overdoses, domestic violence, and mental health problems in the country.

You don't say! That's what happens after forcing people to stay home for almost a year, never seeing/touching their loved ones, and shutting down and destroying businesses! It's been mostly democrat governors keeping their states locked down.

Quote:He proposed the government as the solution, announcing that he would move forward on his $1.9 trillion rescue package.

“A lot of folks are losing hope and I believe the American people are looking right now to their government for help,” he said.

Well, of course he proposed government as the "solution".
People are now ready to accept the government handouts (socialism/communism) in order to put some scraps on the table and pay their rent; that is, if there's enough to do both.
Yes, I'd say the poorest of U.S. citizens have been ready for months and months. They had to get the middle class there before they could offer help though, and make sure their businesses were too far gone to ever open back up.

Quote:Biden indicated he was no longer interested in working with Republicans to pass a bipartisan coronavirus relief bill, noting that the negotiations would only prolong the aid that was needed immediately.

Really?  Could it be because of all the pork stuffed into the stimulus package? More money going to foreign countries than to hurting Americans? Yes, I'd say that is what has the Republicans upset. They also don't want to leave such a high tax burden on the American tax payer that falls on their children and grandchildren to pay back.

Quote:He said that Congress would only seek $1,400 individual direct payments, despite his promise to the people in the state of Georgia that he would send out $2000 checks “immediately” if they put Democrats in control of the Senate.

Well, Joey, you've been the (fake) POTUS for almost a month.  What does "immediately" mean to you?  Another unpaid month's rent has come and gone that could possibly be putting more people out on the street.

Now you know how it begins. Make the people beg the government for scraps; it makes utilizing socialism so much easier. Then right behind that comes Communism. They get you in a vulnerable situation where turning them down would mean your family starving. Once you're there, you're theirs; mission accomplished!

Supportive foreigner's opinion about the current state of USA
Posted by: Finspiracy - 02-08-2021, 02:24 PM - Forum: Off Topic - Replies (13)

Hello. I have said this multiple times in the shout box, but many do not read it.

First of all, i think that The United States of America is a fine nation with fine people. Of course, plenty of idiots also. Population is 328 million. There can not be so many apples without some of them being rotten.

What makes me feel... helpless... and empathy... Are the things i read online, from Real Americans and the mentality, mindset. These may not all be exact quotes but the points are these:

-USA has been sold to China

-USA has fallen under the command of Marxist leftists.

-USA is doomed

You get my drift already... Yes, the Presidential elections were stolen. Things are being stolen all the time. Small things like a chocolate bar and big things like who rules us. That is how power-craving greed works.

What? You have stood so firmly, you have shown the path... umm... too philosophical. You bring me huge amounts of entertainment. I don't watch TV or movies but i listen to music and play games. All the good shit regarding those comes from USA. Okay.. not all... but the vast majority.

Biden the POTUS now? half a century in politics with nothing to show for it. Unacceptable behavior near children. Unable to put a simple sentence together. And that dude is a threat to your nation? I know... he does not decide anything, it is the forces behind him... And they are some real life hardcore dickheads. But there are millions of Americans who still believe that the Constitution should be respected. Millions of Americans who still think that the Founding Fathers had good ideas in their minds. There is hope. There is hope.

Fast forward 4 years from now... then it is Biden again, or at least 4 years of some other person.

It is just frustrating to see the quitter mentality comments from American citizens. But i don't know, i do not live there. I have never even visited there. You have survived serious "Shit hits the fan" events before. Why would you not survive this one? Hold your head up high and proceed forward with pride just like before.

Massive Criminal Investigation into if Trump Made Premeditated Effort to Provoke Viol
Posted by: xuenchen - 02-07-2021, 10:37 PM - Forum: Political News and more - Replies (2)

Liz Cheney, the U.S. Congressperson who recently came out against Trump has made an appearance on FoxNews and made some sweeping statements !! tinyangry

She now claims there's a massive criminal investigation to determine if Trump made a premeditated effort to provoke violence !!

All going back to Jan 6th of course.

Sounds like they got to Liz recently with blackmail and/or threats.

Doesn't really make sense to out an investigation with choppy wording like she's using roflmao.

This is more BS to fan the fires coming up this week at the Senate Impeachment Trial !!

What could Liz possibly be gaining with this wild and quirky approach all of a sudden ?

Quote:Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) said on Sunday’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that there is a “massive criminal investigation underway” into former President Donald Trump’s role in inciting the deadly riot at Capitol Hill on January 6.

When asked if she would vote to convict Trump, Cheney said, “If I was in the Senate, I would listen to the evidence. I think that is the role the Senate has as jurors. I would also point out that the Senate trial is a snapshot. There’s a massive criminal investigation underway. There will be a massive criminal investigation of everything that happened on Jan. 6 and in the days before.”

She continued, “People will want to know exactly what the president was doing. They will want to know, for example, if the tweet he sent out calling Vice President Pence a coward while the attack was underway, whether that tweet, for example, was a premeditated effort to provoke violence. There are a lot of questions that have to be answered, and there will be many, many criminal investigations looking at every aspect of this and everyone who was involved as there should be.”

She added, “We’ve never seen that kind of assault by a president of the United States on another branch of government, and that can never happen again.”

Tongue Another Wild Biden Executive Order Denies State and Local Rights
Posted by: xuenchen - 02-07-2021, 01:07 AM - Forum: Political News and more - Replies (1)

So now all of a sudden Biden and his band of Federal Pirates are nervous about Local authorities rejecting refugees sent by the Feds.

These Marxists aren't playing around this time.

They're going for the kill at every turn regardless of how many new policies may end up in court and struck down.

They do it anyway and deal with the consequences later after the desired damage is already done.

Something big is happening and it ain't good !!

Get prepared while you can.

Time is running short.

Quote:U.S. President Joe Biden signed an executive order Thursday that denies state and local governments any authority to reject the drop-off of refugees into their towns and communities.

In essence, former President Donald Trump’s policy (Executive Order 13888 of September 2019) gave state and local governments a say in whether they have the capacity to provide refugees a pathway to become self-sufficient and successfully integrate into American society.

Biden’s new executive order (EO) indicated that the federal government would consult with American communities across the country about refugees’ resettlement.

The president’s “Executive Order on Rebuilding and Enhancing Programs to Resettle Refugees and Planning for the Impact of Climate Change on Migration”

The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

'A weird thing happened right after the Nov. 3 election: nothing.

The nation was braced for chaos. Liberal groups had vowed to take to the streets, planning hundreds of protests across the country.
Right-wing militias were girding for battle. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.

Instead, an eerie quiet descended. As President Trump refused to concede, the response was not mass action but crickets.
When media organizations called the race for Joe Biden on Nov. 7, jubilation broke out instead, as people thronged cities across the
U.S. to celebrate the democratic process that resulted in Trump’s ouster.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him.
Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede.
To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2.

“Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being
counted.” In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs.
Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse,
little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day.

Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice
protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election
–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted.

For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under
simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place
on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and
conservative actors.

The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result
could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions
in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote
by mail for the first time.

They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight
viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold
over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction.

After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election
is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen,
a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

For Trump and his allies were running their own campaign to spoil the election.
The President spent months insisting that mail ballots were a Democratic plot and the election would be “rigged.”
His henchmen at the state level sought to block their use, while his lawyers brought dozens of spurious suits to make it more difficult to
vote–an intensification of the GOP’s legacy of suppressive tactics. Before the election, Trump plotted to block a legitimate vote count.

And he spent the months following Nov. 3 trying to steal the election he’d lost–with lawsuits and conspiracy theories, pressure on state
and local officials, and finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rally that ended in deadly violence at the Capitol.

The democracy campaigners watched with alarm. “Every week, we felt like we were in a struggle to try to pull off this election without the
country going through a real dangerous moment of unraveling,” says former GOP Representative Zach Wamp, a Trump supporter who
helped coordinate a bipartisan election-protection council.
“We can look back and say this thing went pretty well, but it was not at all clear in September and October that that was going to be the case.”

This is the inside story of the conspiracy to save the 2020 election, based on access to the group’s inner workings, never-before-seen
documents and interviews with dozens of those involved from across the political spectrum. It is the story of an unprecedented, creative
and determined campaign whose success also reveals how close the nation came to disaster.

“Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” says Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy,
a nonpartisan rule-of-law advocacy group. “But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally.
The system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.”

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well
-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions,
change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order
to ensure that democracy in America endures.

THE ARCHITECT
Sometime in the fall of 2019, Mike Podhorzer became convinced the election was headed for disaster–and determined to protect it.
This was not his usual purview. For nearly a quarter-century, Podhorzer, senior adviser to the president of the AFL-CIO, the nation’s largest
union federation, has marshaled the latest tactics and data to help its favored candidates win elections.
Unassuming and professorial, he isn’t the sort of hair-gelled “political strategist” who shows up on cable news.

Among Democratic insiders, he’s known as the wizard behind some of the biggest advances in political technology in recent decades.
A group of liberal strategists he brought together in the early 2000s led to the creation of the Analyst Institute, a secretive firm that
applies scientific methods to political campaigns. He was also involved in the founding of Catalist, the flagship progressive data company.

The endless chatter in Washington about “political strategy,” Podhorzer believes, has little to do with how change really gets made.
“My basic take on politics is that it’s all pretty obvious if you don’t overthink it or swallow the prevailing frameworks whole,” he once wrote.

“After that, just relentlessly identify your assumptions and challenge them.” Podhorzer applies that approach to everything: when he coached
his now adult son’s Little League team in the D.C. suburbs, he trained the boys not to swing at most pitches–a tactic that infuriated both their
and their opponents’ parents, but won the team a series of championships.

Trump’s election in 2016–credited in part to his unusual strength among the sort of blue collar white voters who once dominated the
AFL-CIO –prompted Podhorzer to question his assumptions about voter behavior. He began circulating weekly number-crunching memos
to a small circle of allies and hosting strategy sessions in D.C. But when he began to worry about the election itself, he didn’t want to seem paranoid.

It was only after months of research that he introduced his concerns in his newsletter in October 2019. The usual tools of data, analytics
and polling would not be sufficient in a situation where the President himself was trying to disrupt the election, he wrote.
“Most of our planning takes us through Election Day,” he noted.

“But, we are not prepared for the two most likely outcomes”–Trump losing and refusing to concede, and Trump winning the Electoral
College (despite losing the popular vote) by corrupting the voting process in key states.

“We desperately need to systematically ‘red-team’ this election so that we can anticipate and plan for the worst we know will be coming
our way.” It turned out Podhorzer wasn’t the only one thinking in these terms. He began to hear from others eager to join forces.

The Fight Back Table, a coalition of “resistance” organizations, had begun scenario-planning around the potential for a contested election,
gathering liberal activists at the local and national level into what they called the Democracy Defense Coalition.

Voting-rights and civil rights organizations were raising alarms. A group of former elected officials was researching emergency powers they
feared Trump might exploit. Protect Democracy was assembling a bipartisan election-crisis task force. “It turned out that once you said it
out loud, people agreed,” Podhorzer says, “and it started building momentum.”

He spent months pondering scenarios and talking to experts. It wasn’t hard to find liberals who saw Trump as a dangerous dictator, but
Podhorzer was careful to steer clear of hysteria. What he wanted to know was not how American democracy was dying but how it might
be kept alive.

The chief difference between the U.S. and countries that lost their grip on democracy, he concluded, was that America’s decentralized
election system couldn’t be rigged in one fell swoop. That presented an opportunity to shore it up...
