I was looking at a pedal steel in my local Long & McQuade, I always like pedal steel in a rock and roll song, liked Ken Greer from Red Rider, Lunatic Fringe kinda stuff.

Yes the Dimebucker doesn't have polepieces. It is meant as a bridge pickup. His setup was a Dimenuckrr at the bridge and a Duncan 59 at the neck.

Yeah I have my eyes on a Sho-Bud I saw on Reverb.com. To me the coolest pedal steel guitar is the song by Waylon Jennings 'Rainy day woman' if you hear that song the steel guitar in that song rocks! I'm old and my musical tastes started in the 70's with a lot if pedal steel guitar in songs back then. Country rock was everywhere back then. However metal was my forte with guitar. By the way the Only Fans comment in an ATS thread you left yesterday nearly made me piss myself!

From what i have researched everything you say is true. I do not remember any rails, too bad my pic is only from a old 1.2 MP cam and my hand is blocking the bridge PU. I always wanted rail PU's too for string bending and such. Ya know what i think is. This guitar had two neck position pickups. I got it used so who knows right? But i don't remember any rails and i do remember a signature or dimebucker on the pickups.

I wanted to use them on my production guitars. I called and talked with Bill's wife and she said they were running behind. At the time it was just Bill and his wife running the business. I didn't want to wait so I went with my plan B. The DiMarzio's.

Finally got around to it lol.
Morgan Monroe: My Epi LP Standard (daily player), I call it 'The Butler', has a Full Shred SD pup at the bridge: This is the latest one I'm finishing and putting together. I didn't build it though. Gibson ES* knockoff. All of the hardware and electronics will be as close as possible to original (other than pups):

That 335 project looks like a fun time and you have a nice collection of hardware to go with it. What have you decided for the finish on the 335? If you even have Also, where did you pick that up? Here's the plastic I have for it and the type of stain will be Cobalt Blue (waterbased), I showed a bottle that's the same but different hue. I might bleach the grain first.
I can't even get to the section of my shop that is devoted to my guitar crap. I got some major cleaning to do lmao. When I do I'll see what you think of some of my others!

Nice axes Myke! I like the hollowbody project.
This is a BC Rich Dagger. I found at a pawnshop many years ago, paid a couple hun. The finish is horrendous, I bought it figuring I would refinish it. I haven't played in years. This thread got me nostalgic though, so I dragged it out, cleaned the fretboard, dressed a few frets, polished the lot..it actually plays pretty good now. Here's the last one, LTD/ESP 7 string Baritone, Stephen Carpenter model, great guitar, digs low, stays impeccably in tune. I think at this point, I would just as soon have a baritone 6 instead. The amp is a PRS MT-15, it's switchable from 7-8 watts, to 15, I guess it just runs a single tube on half power. Cool thing about this lunchbox, is it uses 6l6 tubes, vs el84 that a lot of other lunchbox amp use. It's a nice amp, very transparent clean channel, and some good grit in lead.
