Well we already know it's from Russia, Theresa May said -so ask them. Obviously their experts
are better than British scientists, so ring 'em up... ask them what it's called and why it has 'ski'

By the way, you could also ask all the other news outlets what they think, as they all reported this at the

Quote:'...Gary Aitkenhead, chief executive of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) at Porton Down, told Sky News they had not been able to prove it was made in Russia. He said: "We were able to identify it as novichok, to identify that it was military-grade nerve agent.
"We have not identified the precise source, but we have provided the scientific info to government who have then used a number of other sources to piece together the conclusions you have come to."...'
Considering Porton Down has just received a £48 million boost to their coffers, I'm disappointed the

However, he confirmed the substance required "extremely sophisticated methods to create, something only in the capabilities of a state actor"...'
Then at least we know it wasn't knocked-up in a kitchen in London.
Quote:'...He said there was no known antidote to novichok, and that none was administered to either of the Skripals. Which doesn't answer the original question of whether Porton Down had any of this Russian-only stuff.

Why on earth would they want to see them? There's no known antidote for 'novichok' and even though
the Skripals were lucky enough to-date to live through the lethal poison, why would Russian Diplomats

Moscow's deputy foreign minister, Alexander Grushko, said on Tuesday that the poisonings may have been set up by the UK to justify an increase in military spending...'
£48 million...? Nah, who would think on that level?
Quote:'...In comments reported by Russian news agencies, Mr Grushko said the attempted murders could have been "arranged by Britain" because "they need a major enemy".
A retired Russian lieutenant general has also warned of a doomsday scenario and suggested the situation could escalate into the "last war in the history of mankind". Evgeny Buzhinsky, who leads security think tank the PIR Center, told the BBC's Today programme he was "afraid that it will end up in a very, very bad outcome".
Asked to clarify, he said: "A real war, worse than a cold war is a real war, it will be the last war in the history of mankind."...'
Honestly, I think that the retired Russian lieutenant general makes a good point and whether Russia poisoned
what they though was a decade-ago traitor or not, this asinine accusation-battle is dangerous.
In my opinion, the British Government should have kept this out of the public eye until the facts were in.
I posted this on another thread but I think its important enough to repost it here
First Recorded Successful Novichok Synthesis was in 2016 – By Iran, in Cooperation with the OPCW 280
17 Mar, 2018 in Uncategorized by craig The line that novichoks can only be produced by Russia is now proven to be a complete lie. As I previously proved by referencing their publications, in 2013 the OPCW scientific advisory committee note the evidence was sparse that novichoks had ever been successfully produced, and that was still the line being published by Porton Down in 2016. You can find the hard evidence of all that here. I have now been sent the vital information that in late 2016, Iranian scientists set out to study whether novichoks really could be produced from commercially available ingredients. Iran succeeded in synthesising a number of novichoks. Iran did this in full cooperation with the OPCW and immediately reported the results to the OPCW so they could be added to the chemical weapons database. This makes complete nonsense of the Theresa May’s “of a type developed by Russia” line, used to parliament and the UN Security Council. This explains why Porton Down have refused to cave in to governmental pressure to say the nerve agent was Russian. If Iran can make a novichok, so can a significant number of states. While Iran acted absolutely responsibly in cooperating with the OPCW, there are a handful of rogue states operating outwith the rule of international law, like Israel and North Korea, which refuse to ratify the Chemical Weapons Convention, join the OPCW or destroy their chemical weapons stocks. Russia has cooperated in the OPCW destruction of all its chemical weapons stocks, completed last year, which included regular OPCW inspection of all the sites alleged to have been in the original “novichok” programme. Why nobody is even looking at the rogue states outwith the OPCW is a genuine puzzle. Extraordinarily, only yesterday the Guardian was still carrying an article which claimed “only the Russian state” could make a novichok. Despite the lying propaganda regurgitated by virtually every corporate and state “journalist”, in truth is it is now proven beyond dispute that “of a type developed by Russia” has zero evidential value and is a politician’s weasel phrase designed deliberately to mislead the public. The public should ask why.

Apart from whimpering 'sorry' to Putin!
I believe its all part of the plain to drive country's into the EU. "Join us or the big bad ruski will get you"

Signs prohibiting access near to the Porton Down Defence Science and Technology Laboratory,
near Salisbury, Britain, March 19, 2018.
Dilyana Gaytandzhieva is a Bulgarian investigative journalist and Middle East Correspondent.
Over the last two years she has published a series of revealing reports on weapons smuggling.
Two months ago South Front published her investigation into the Pentagon bio laboratories in 25
countries across the world.
Her current report provides an overview of the Pentagon-funded experiments at the secretive UK
military laboratory Porton Down near Salisbury, where an ex-Russian spy and his daughter were
allegedly poisoned with a nerve agent.
.............................
'The Pentagon has spent at least $70 million on military experiments involving tests with deadly viruses and chemical agents at Porton Down –the UK military laboratory near the city of Salisbury.
The secretive biological and chemical research facility is located just 13 km from where on 4th March former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found slumped on a bench following an alleged Novichok nerve agent poisoning.
The Porton Down Lab is located just 13 km from the site where Sergei Skripal and his daughter were
found and from where they were rushed to hospital.
Information obtained from the US federal contracts registry reveals that the Pentagon’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has funded a number of military projects performed at the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), or Porton Down, over the last decade.
Among them: experimental respiratory infection of non-human primates (marmosets) with Anthrax, Ebola virus, Marburg virus, Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus, Western equine encephalitis virus, and Eastern equine encephalitis virus.
The US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has also funded experiments on animals which were exposed to chemical agents such as Sulfur Mustard and Phosgene gas. Phosgene gas was used as a chemical weapon during World War I where it was responsible for about 85 % of the 100,000 deaths caused by chemical weapons.
DTRA has also been granted full access to DSTL scientific and technical capabilities, and test data under a 2011 contract for the collaboration and exchange of scientific and technical capabilities with the UK Ministry of Defence.
At least 122,000 animals used for military chemical and biological experiments at Porton Down Animal experiments are classified as confidential in the UK. Under section 24 of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, it is a criminal offence to disclose certain information about animal experiments in the UK.
Monkeys being used in warfare agent testing at Porton Down in the past.
Data obtained via the Freedom of Information Act though gives an idea of the dimensions of military chemical and biological experiments carried out at Porton Down. A total of 122,050 animals have been exposed to deadly pathogens, chemicals and incurable diseases over the last decade (2005-2016)...'

Quote:Missing CDC employee's body found in river weeks after disappearance, police say.
'The body of a missing employee at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was found this week in a river nearly two months after his "unusual" disappearance prompted a nationwide search, police announced Thursday.
Timothy Cunningham.
Timothy Cunningham, an epidemiologist at the CDC, was found in Chattahoochee River in northwest Atlanta late Tuesday. Fishermen in the area spotted the body along the bank of the river face up. The decomposed body was stuck in mud in an area that was not easily accessible, leading officials to believe it was “in that position for a while.”
“We have no indications to this point that were was any foul play,” Atlanta Police Department Major Michael O’Connor said in a Thursday news conference.
It’s unclear how Cunningham’s body ended up at that part of the river. An official cause of death has yet to be released, but a preliminary autopsy suggested the 35-year-old drowned, the medical examiner said at the Thursday news conference.
Three crystals were found in Cunningham’s pockets when his body was recovered. Cunningham, who was last seen leaving work early on Feb. 12, was an avid crystal collector. The ones found on Cunningham were described as "rare crystals."
For weeks, authorities scavenged for clues as to where the CDC employee may have been. O’Connor said in late February the disappearance was an “extremely unusual set of circumstances.”
"The most unusual fact, in this case, is that every single belonging that we are aware of was located in the residence," O'Connor said. "So his keys, cell phone, credit cards, debit cards, wallet, all of his identification, passports –anything you can think of we've been able to locate."
Cunningham had called his sister that morning and talked to his supervisor about a promotion he didn’t receive, FOX5 Atlanta reported. He reportedly told several coworkers he was disappointed after not being promoted to branch manager.
The CDC, however, fired back at the reports and said in March Cunningham had received an early promotion.
“As many of his colleagues in the USPHS have pointed out, this information is incorrect. In fact, he received an early promotion/exceptional proficiency promotion to Commander effective July 1, 2017, in recognition of his exemplary performance in the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS),” the CDC said in a March statement.
“Over and above any of his assignments at CDC, his early promotion within the USPHS reflects his excellence as an officer and an employee.”
There are still several unanswered questions surrounding Cunningham’s disappearance. The CDC employee’s parents said earlier this week their son sent a “disturbing” text to them 24 hours before he vanished, FOX5 Atlanta reported. However, they would not elaborate on the text.
A $15,000 reward is being offered for more information...'
Quote:The body of 35-year-old Timothy Cunningham was found by fishermen in an Atlanta river on Tuesday evening, bringing the long search for the missing CDC doctor to a tragic end.
According to Atlanta Police Department spokesman Carlos Campos, Cunningham's remains were pulled from the Chattahoochee River on April 3, over seven weeks after he disappeared on Feb. 12. An autopsy confirmed that the body belonged to the missing doctor.
Fulton County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Gorniak said on Thursday that there were no signs of foul play and that Cunningham's preliminary cause of death is believed to be drowning. His actual manner of death has not yet been determined.
It is also not yet known how Cunningham's body ended up in its final location.
"We may never be able to tell you how he got into the river," Major Michael O'Connor of the Atlanta Police told reporter during a press conference.
You all can believe what you want, but this is more than someone drowning in the river... MUCH more!

I left this one alone to run for a few days and now Porton Down has announced that two people
in a nearby town to the Skripal incident have been infected by the infamous Novichok nerve agent.
Quote:Amesbury poisoning: Couple exposed to Novichok nerve agent.
'A man and woman found unconscious in Wiltshire were exposed to Novichok -the same nerve agent that poisoned ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal, police say. The couple, believed to be Charlie Rowley, 45, and Dawn Sturgess, 44, fell ill at a house in Amesbury on Saturday and remain in a critical condition.
Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley.
Police say no one else has presented with the same symptoms. There was "nothing in their background" to suggest the pair were targeted, the Met Police said.
House cordoned off.
Home Secretary Sajid Javid will chair a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee later to discuss the developments.
Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu said it could not be confirmed whether the nerve agent came from the same batch that Mr Skripal, and his daughter Yulia, were exposed to. But he said the possibility was "clearly a line of enquiry".
Mr Basu said no contaminated items had yet been found, but officers were putting together a "very detailed examination of [the couple's] movements" in order to determine where they were poisoned. He added that members of the public should not pick anything up if they didn't know what it was. "We have no idea what may have contained the nerve agent at this time," he said.
Novichok, a resilient and resistant nerve agent developed by the Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s, takes effect within minutes, blocking messages from the nerves to the muscles causing bodily functions to collapse.
The Counter Terrorism Policing Network is now leading the investigation, working with Wiltshire Police. The BBC's security correspondent Gordon Corera said: "The most likely hypothesis is that this is leftover Novichok from the attack on the Skripals back in March."
Chemical weapons expert Richard Guthrie said it was possible that the Novichok which poisoned the Skripals may have been disposed of "in a haphazard way". If the couple had come across it in a syringe or pot, it might have been better preserved, he told BBC Breakfast.
England's chief medical officer, Sally Davies, said: "I want to reassure the public that the risk to the general public remains low." The Skripal episode meant officials had a "well-established response" in place, she said. "As before, my advice is to wash your clothes and wipe down any personal items, shoes and bags, with cleansing or baby wipes before disposing of them in the usual way.
"You do not need to seek advice from a health professional unless you are experiencing symptoms, as any individual who had been significantly exposed at the same time would by now have symptoms."
Asked whether the people of Salisbury and Amesbury were at risk, security minister Ben Wallace said the nature of Novichok meant it was "an absolute tiny needle in a very large haystack that we have to find". He said the "best intelligence officers in the world" were working on the investigation but until the full picture of the Skripal assassination attempt was known, he couldn't offer complete reassurance.
"I can't guarantee you will be 100% safe in Manchester from terrorism nor can I guarantee in the west country that you are going to be 100% safe from a further contamination until we know the full details of what happened back in March," he told BBC Breakfast.
On Saturday, paramedics were called twice to the property in Amesbury -in the morning, after Ms Sturgess had collapsed, then later the same day, after Mr Rowley had also fallen unwell. "It was initially believed that the two patients fell ill after using possibly heroin or crack cocaine from a contaminated batch of drugs," Wiltshire Police said...'
Here's another example of the media running away with a narrative. Amesbury is ten miles away from the town
where the Skripals were effected and there's no evidence at this point that this new couple visited Salisbury after
that incident.
Quote:'...The news that Novichok was to blame was announced following analysis at the defence research facility at Porton Down, Wiltshire. Sites in Amesbury and Salisbury believed to have been visited by the couple before they fell ill have been cordoned off as a precaution, including a church, park and chemist...'
Yet, set in a black text blocks beneath images of this BBC web page, it states: '...The Amesbury branch of Boots was closed on Wednesday morning as a "precautionary measure"...' '...Police have cordoned off a number of areas including Muggleton Road in Amesbury...' '...The couple, believed to be Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley were found unconscious on Saturday in Amesbury...'
Not Salisbury.
Quote:'...On Thursday morning, the focus of police activity was in Muggleton Road where the couple first fell ill, BBC correspondent Jon Kay said. But there is no evidence to suggest either visited the sites that were decontaminated following the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in March...'
See...? Many of the comments are from BBC correspondents and ex-security 'experts' who offer exciting punditry
They imply a chain of suggestions and then state an opposite official statement further on.
Quote:'...Local residents have been warned to expect to see an increased police presence -including officers wearing protective equipment. Security correspondent Gordon Corera said the poisoning was "hugely significant" as the public would be worried.
He added: "Perhaps this is some of the Novichok prepared for the attack [in Salisbury in March] and discarded -maybe somewhere like a park, a house - and maybe these two came across it." He added it could give counter-terrorism investigators new leads on where the nerve agent was "brought and put together" before the attack on the Skripals.
On Wednesday evening, before police had made the Novichok link, government-run TV station Rossiya 1 suggested that the Amesbury poisoning may have been staged by the British government out of spite over the "fabulous" World Cup hosted by Russia.
And state TV's Channel One and Gazprom-Media's NTV sarcastically argued that it may only be a matter of time before Russia gets the blame. Home Secretary Sajid Javid said his thoughts were with the two affected and thanked the emergency services and staff at Salisbury District Hospital, where the Skripals were also treated. He said the events followed "the reckless and barbaric attack" in Salisbury in March.
"The government's first priority is for the safety of the residents in the local area but as Public Health England has made clear, the risk to the general public is low," he said...'
What I find odd is that at the weekend -and before this incident was reported, three people died in my hometown in
the North-East of England from what the Police thought was a 'bad batch' of contaminated heroin.
Two were found dead on Saturday morning and the third died on Sunday evening.
It was reported in my local newspaper and never hit the mainstream media. Yet the initial Amesbury case was
first offered as an overdose of 'bad drugs' and reported by the BBC and Sky News. The two major news outlets in
the UK.
'..."It was initially believed that the two patients fell ill after using possibly heroin or crack cocaine from a contaminated batch of drugs," Wiltshire Police said....' Why would you think that unless you had information that this couple used these
types of drugs?
Paraphernalia and heroin found in the couple's house would be a fair indication -as well as previous convictions, but now
it seems to have morphed into another Novichok encounter... and the connection is being pushed by the media.
...........................................................
Edit: After I had posted the above, this was on the Sky News website:

The recent incident occurred ten miles away and now the media are focusing back at the Skripal
alleged attempted assassination in their title.
Yet there's nothing in their conjecture that's informative except the official warnings that derived from
the Salisbury event.
(By the way, The Times reduces the distance between Amesbury and Salisbury to seven miles and The Telegraph
newspaper states: 'Couple critically ill in Salisbury following contact with same nerve agent used on spy...')
Quote:Amesbury poisoning: Couple exposed to Novichok nerve agent.

Well let's take a peek into the fluid world of Journalism!
1/ Was the house where the people were found their own house, how many other people were there?
It was initially implied that this couple live in a homeless shelter. Yet, The MailOnline states that Ms. Sturgess
returned to her flat and spent the Friday evening in her flat in Salisbury, possibly with Mr. Rowley. '...The John Baker House homeless shelter at at 16 Rollestone Street in Salisbury where Ms Sturgess lives has been cordoned off by police after the poisoning...'
'....Police locked down the building along with a public rubbish bin in the corner of Rollestone Street just yards
away that was known to be frequented by the couple...
Ms. Sturgess then travels to her boyfriend's abode at a newly-built Housing Association facility in Muggleton
Road, Amesbury. This was on Saturday.
At 11 o'clock on Saturday morning, the couple visit a Baptist Church. Ms. Sturgess feels unwell and returns
to Mr. Rowley's home. (In reality, the Mail doesn't use Mr. Rowley's name and just use the expression 'boyfriend')
Not long after arriving at the Muggleton Road house (Amesbury), an ambulance is called by an unsaid person.
Saturday Afternoon, Mr. Rowley visits a 'Boots' Chemists shop before returning home to pick up clothing for
Ms. Sturgess in hospital. The Chemists is in Amesbury.
Saturday evening, Paramedics are called to the Muggleton Road home and Mr. Rowley is take to hospital in a
serious condition.
2/ Did the sick couple phone for help?
Unknown, but it's reported: '..Sam Hobson, who called an ambulance for his friend, described the sudden decline of Mr Rowley.
'...He started sweating. His T-shirt was soaking wet. He got up and started rocking against the wall,' Mr Hobson recalled. 'His eyes were wide open and red, his pupils were like pinpricks. He began gabbling incoherently and I could tell he was hallucinating. He was making weird noises and acting like a zombie. I phoned an ambulance. 'At first they thought it was drugs but they know now it isn't.'...'
3/ If they were found by someone else. who and did they suffer from the same "sickness"?
Presumably this dishevelled man found Mr. Rowley and we're left with the assumption that Rowley
called for an ambulance earlier for Ms. Sturgess.
To date, Hobson seems fine.
4/ Are the people known drug takers?
'...On Monday, knowing the couple were drug users, police issue an urgent warning to drug users with a detective
saying the couple may have taken a contaminated batch of drugs...' '...Mr Rowley is a registered heroin addict...'
.............................
So from the Friday's relaxing in the Salisbury park and possibly finding a discarded syringe of Novichok, up to Saturday
afternoon's attack of Ms. Sturgess and the later attack of Mr. Rowley, the deadly poison took it's time.
...And remember, the MSM assured us that Novichok has to be mixed to be effective.
Two syringes?!!

Found this photo in the DM read
It seem they take this Novichok very seriously as you can see how they secured a bin they think might be infected. Also note the advanced protection the police woman is wearing as well as the CBW scientist as they would never let people just walk past
The caption below the image is laughable... more funny than the image of a passer-by wandering near
the possible infected area AND the unprotected Police Officer.
'...Anything police believe the couple may have used is now sealed including this rubbish bin in Salt Lane, Salisbury. There are claims she came into contact with Novichok from a discarded cigarette she would routinely pick up and smoke...'
So the person who dropped the cigarette is infected too?!!!
....................................
And to add more suspense... '...The father of Dawn’s children, Andy Hope, also has clearance for Boscombe Down, where he works as an aircraft engineer. One of Dawn’s two older sons lives with him.
The relationship between Dawn and her parents has been strained for many years. Her father, Stephen, has disowned her over her drinking and has not seen her for more than a decade, family members said. He has not visited her in the Radner Ward intensive care unit of Salisbury hospital...'
I read in one of your posts that they had visited a chemist during their daily travels. Maybe he had something there they were exposed to and it was a secret experiment. Those involved in investigating were told to use a cover story. Using the gas agent would be a good cover and put the public in fear at the same time... right where they want them.
