Quote:SPRINGFIELD, Mo- An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a car hit him at the intersection of Sunshine and Campbell Monday night.

Witness told police the car had the green light as it was heading north on Campbell. The man was in the crosswalk while heading east on Sunshine. Police say it appears the car was going the speed limit.

The driver wasn't hurt.

Police were on the scene for more than six hours to complete their investigation.
