When you place a loved one in a rehab center or hospital you expect them to be treated with respect and decency, but that's not what happened to a lady who has been in a vegetative state for more than 14 years in a health care facility in Phoenix, AZ. Turns out someone was getting his jollies with her and now she's pregnant. The staff said they didn't even realize it until she started moaning from labor pains.

Azfamily.com on Thursday reported that a woman who was left in a vegetative state after a near-drowning more than 10 years ago became pregnant while she was a patient at Hacienda HealthCare in Phoenix.
The Arizona Department of Health Services on Friday confirmed that the woman was a patient at Hacienda de los Angeles. State licensing records describe the facility as a 60-bed intermediate care facility for people with intellectual disabilities.
Officials with the state health department say that in the wake of the report, the facility is required to have heightened security measures to ensure the safety of its patients. That heightened security includes increased staff presence during patient interactions, increased monitoring of patient care areas, and increased security measures with respect to visitors to the facility, state health officials said.
"We are aware of this situation and are actively working with local law enforcement in their criminal investigation," a department statement says.
Likewise, another state agency that serves disabled clients issued a statement saying it did health and safety checks on all of the residents at the health care facility after the birth was reported.
But it was unclear Friday what the Department of Economic Security found during its checks, other than to say its review is completed. DES did not immediately respond to a request seeking follow-up actions, if any.
DES said it is working with the Phoenix Police Department on its investigation. The police have acknowledged they are working on the matter but have not commented further.
Situation 'unprecedented'
In response to questions about the incident from The Arizona Republic, Hacienda HealthCare issued a written statement through media spokesman David Leibowitz, calling the situation "unprecedented."
“Hacienda HealthCare has been in business in Arizona for more than 50 years. In that time, we have reliably and safely served thousands of residents and their families. We are proud of our record and our position as an industry leader in caring for the intellectually and developmentally disabled," the statement says.
“With that said, we have recently become aware of a deeply disturbing incident involving the health and safety of a Hacienda resident. While federal and state privacy laws prohibit us from publicly discussing a patient’s health or case, Hacienda has and will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement and all the relevant regulatory agencies regarding this matter.
“As an organization, Hacienda HealthCare stands fully committed to getting to the truth of what, for us, represents an unprecedented matter. We are already conducting a comprehensive internal review of our processes, protocols, and people to ensure that every single Hacienda resident is as safe and well cared for as possible. Anything less than that is unacceptable to our team, our company’s leaders and the communities we serve.”
State licensing records show Hacienda de los Angeles was recertified in August as a provider for people covered by the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, which is Arizona's Medicaid program, a government insurance program for low-income people. The facility was re-certified following an on-site survey conducted in June, records show.
In December 2013, Hacienda de los Angeles administrator William Timmons received a letter from the state saying the facility was out of compliance with federal Medicare and Social Security Act standards for staff training and staff treatment of clients. One of the complaints said that a staff member was making inappropriate sexual comments about the clients.
The facility later submitted an acceptable plan of correction, records show, and told state investigators that the offending staff member had been fired.

China's Chang'e-4 probe successfully made the first-ever soft landing on the far side of the moon at 10:26 Thursday morning, marking a breakthrough in human exploration of the universe, according to a statement the China National Space Administration (CNSA) sent to the Global Times on Thursday.
The probe sent back its first images at 11:40 am, about an hour after it landed, revealing the moon's dark side for the first time.
The lunar lander touched down on the moon's far side and sent communication signals between the moon's far side and the Earth for the first time, launching a new chapter of human exploration of the moon, read the statement.
The probe made a vertically landing at the Von Karman Crater in the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the moon's dark side.
"The Von Karman Crater is believed to have great scientific research potential. The region is also comparatively flat, making it safer for Chang'e-4 to land there," a Beijing-based Chinese aerospace expert, who requested anonymity, told the Global Times on Thursday.
"Congratulations to China's Chang'e-4 team for what appears to be a successful landing on the far side of the Moon. This is a first for humanity and an impressive accomplishment!" Jim Bridenstine, the administrator of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), twitted after the Chang'e-4's landing.

The Chang'e-4 probe, including a lander and a rover, was launched by a Long March-3B carrier rocket on December 8 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The South Pole-Aitken (SPA) basin is one of the largest known impact craters in the Solar System. It is about 2,500 kilometers in diameter and 12 kilometers deep.
More than 100 spacecraft and probes have been launched onto the moon since the 1950s but none have made a soft landing on the moon's dark side, Zou Yongliao, deputy director of the National Space Science Center under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said at a press conference in November 2018.
Touchdown in the SPA basin will help gather information about substances deep in the moon, which will be a good opportunity to learn about deep space, Zou said.
Rocks on the moon's far side are comparatively more ancient than those on the front side. The landing of Chang'e 4 on far side will help humanity learn the origin and evolution of the moon and low frequency radio astronomy observations, filling a void in the field, Zou said.
The probe entered an elliptical lunar orbit on Sunday morning in preparation for the landing.
The Chang'e-4 spacecraft is named after the moon goddess in Chinese legends and myths. The series of Chang'e missions are part of China's lunar exploration project, which was initiated in 2004.

The project is China's first step into deep-space exploration. It is divided into three phases - unmanned lunar exploration, manned moon landings and the establishment of a moon base. Lunar probes from Chang'e-1 to Chang'e-5 are the first phase.
China has successfully launched Chang'e-1 to Chang'e-3, which have orbited the moon and made a soft landing on the near side of the moon. The mission of Chang'e will be to collect soil samples on the moon and return them to Earth.

2. It will "be able to suffer". This will take away the human's need to feel empathy and connect with our "partner" on an intimate level. This in turn will disconnect us from being truly human, putting us one step closer to becoming robots ourselves.
While this may sound like every person's dream relationship/partner, realize it is a dangerous weapon being placed in plane sight to help control humanity in the long run. Think about that before you support this with your money.

Ending the Iran Nuclear Deal – Gone are the days of coddling the mullahs who have terrorized America and our allies for decades. Instead of counting the billions of dollars of cash sent via secret nighttime flights by the Obama administration, the Tehran regime now faces a U.S. leadership determined to thwart its tyranny and prevent its nuclearization.
Moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem – Trump proved once again how differently he governs compared to Washington norms. Lawless caravans assault our sovereignty and abuse our generous asylum statutes. Such provocations validate the need for a border wall along with reforms to immigration laws.
Record American Oil Production – In 2018, the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil. Through aggressive regulatory relief and pro-energy moves like green-lighting the Keystone XL pipeline, President Trump paved the way for an independent energy future.
There were missteps, to be sure. For example, the Helsinki press conference with Vladimir Putin belied the normally assertive Trump. "A man has been detained and two members of the public, a man and a woman have been taken to hospital with knife injuries. "A BTP officer is also receiving treatment for a stab wound to the shoulder.
"British Transport Police remain at the scene along with colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service." The station remains closed and officers are at the scene, police said.
