President Trump does not Bow to Communism
Posted by: guohua - 11-28-2019, 03:38 AM - Forum: Asian Affairs - Replies (1)

Guess what China..America now has a President who doesn't fear you or coddle you or bow to you. Ouch. minusculeclap

Quote:Trump signs bill supporting Hong Kong protesters despite strong opposition from China

That's right America, we have a POTUS that does not Kiss Other Dictators Rings or Bow!

Quote:President Trump on Wednesday signed the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act after it was passed by the Senate and House earlier this month.

Trump’s signature comes as Hong Kong continues to be gripped by turmoil amid widespread discontent over Chinese rule in the special administrative region.

Chinese officials had hoped Trump would veto the bill and the president had expressed some concerns about complicating the effort to work out a trade deal with China's President Xi Jinping.

"Look, we have to stand with Hong Kong," Trump said in an interview on "Fox & Friends" last week.

He continued: "But I'm also standing with President Xi. He's a friend of mine. He's an incredible guy.""The act reaffirms and amends the United States-Hong Kong Policy Act of 1992, specifies United States policy towards Hong Kong, and directs assessment of the political developments in Hong Kong,” Trump said in a statement.

  A Monday Morning's Woolgathering!
Posted by: BIAD - 11-25-2019, 12:35 PM - Forum: Daily Chit Chat - No Replies

I think it'll always be intriguing how the internet and one's memories can take you down a road that holds
overgrown side-lanes where a smile is always not too far away.

On this grey Monday morning, I'd just finished in avoiding another bout of unnatural questioning from an Asian
gentleman called 'Kevin' on my landline telephone, when I looked at the cordless device that allowed these
annoying would-be scammers into my home and pondered its evolution.

Feeling the confidence that Kevin wouldn't be bothering me for another hour or so, I took to YouTube in order
to see if there was a light-weight article on how the phone that I'd grown up with had now transformed into
the tiny machine my wife keeps in her pocket.

With the assistance of a TV programme 'Tomorrow's World' -a show that tracked my own developing years,
I saw that host Michael Rodd was displaying how the listening appliance that I assumed would always be
attached to a wall, was slowly mutating into a mobile contraption.

Fascinating... and the British Home Office couldn't see how a mobile telephone could have an advantage
to the world! Another fine example that shows society-changing enterprises are available to anyone brave
enough to make them happen, heh Mr. Musk?!

But that wasn't the end of it, Michael Rodd had always struck me as a decent bloke who conveyed information
in a sensible, easy-to-understand manner and after looking him up on the internet, I saw an image where he
was stood with two of his co-presenters of Tomorrow's World.

The lady at the front is Judith Hann, a Journalist who just happened to have honed her communication-skills
at the same newspaper company that I had also worked at. Who'd have thunked it?!

Here I was, surfing the web and I come across a fellow-employee who'd long ago clacked away on her typewriter,
bringing news and views to a region, whilst close by, Boy In A Dress probably swabbed-out one of the toilet cubicles
she may have used.
Lawdy, we walk in small circles.
tinyshocked

The third chap in the picture is William Woollard, a man know for his serious stances during his presentations
and the creator of a little-known pastime -or so I thought, of 'Woollarding'.

During one of his stints at presenting on a series called 'Top Gear', a now-famous television programme that
these days seems to promote the presenters more than the vehicles it displays, Mr. Woollard discussed the
merits of a car's engine and offered a pose that strangely caught-on with some of the series' viewers.

The original.
And so the internet showed me something else I didn't know, Woollarding.

Many years ago, I'd found a curious website dedicated to the electronic boxes that are situated alongside the
British motorways and was intrigued by its geekish manner it discussed the handrails and steps that assisted
any road-maintenance engineers to the boxes that held the thingamajigs that made the electric road-signs work.

Photograph after photograph, the site talked to its few members of these lesser-known metal-contained
mechanisms and marvelled at some the forgotten locations. It's a shame I cannot find that residence today.
(Seriously, a shame?!)

As this grey Monday lumbers on, I'll ponder on whether the act of Woollarding can be classed with the same
prestige and even if there are more lesser-known places of quiet waters on this strange highway of information.

Something to consider about Stone and Epstein

Roger Stone, Jeffrey Epstein and the Crackup of America's Leadership

By Tucker Carlson & Neil Patel
November 22, 2019

AP Photo/Andrew Harnik
Roger Stone was recently convicted in federal court on seven felony charges, stemming from the since-closed Russian collusion investigation.

Stone's main crime was lying to Congress about who he had, or had not, spoken to about Russia. By the time Stone's trial began in
Washington, nobody was talking about WikiLeaks anymore. Nobody cared. Yet prosecutors continued as if it were 2017.
For lying about something now irrelevant, they argued that Roger Stone should spend up to 50 years in prison, the rest of his life.

At the very moment prosecutors were making that case -- that Stone's misstatements ought to be a death penalty offense -- Congressman
Adam Schiff was busy lying to the rest of us about new things, some that actually matter. Schiff didn't seem worried about lying.
He knows he'll never be prosecuted for it. In Washington, dishonesty is strictly a one-way offense.

Yet despite the irony of all this, Stone was convicted. Official Washington cheered. "Rot in hell!" they screamed on Twitter.
What's interesting about the response to Stone's case -- both from federal prosecutors and the conventional media -- is how
much harsher it was than anything that greeted convicted child molester Jeffrey Epstein.

When Epstein was released from his first prison term, he hosted a dinner at his home with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos,
former NBC host Katie Couric, Chelsea Handler, Woody Allen, CBS's Charlie Rose, British Prince Andrew and many others. Do you think
Stephanopoulos would consider having dinner at Stone's house?
Of course not. That would be immoral. FBI officials, apparently, agree.

You'll remember what happened when Stone was arrested. Dozens of federal agents with automatic weapons, armored vehicles and a
helicopter descended on his home in a middle-class part of Fort Lauderdale and rousted the 66-year-old and his wife from bed at rifle
point.

Just to make sure the event inflicted maximum humiliation, the feds tipped off CNN, which was there to capture the whole thing live.
That's how our government treated a man facing perjury charges.

Epstein, by contrast, was accused of molesting at least 34 separate underage girls. How was he arrested?
He wasn't. According to The New York Times account, prosecutors called Epstein's lawyers and asked him to turn himself in, which
Epstein politely did. Nobody tipped off CNN.

Just the opposite. Authorities tried to keep the whole thing secret, to preserve Epstein's dignity.
One prosecutor wrote to Epstein's longtime attorney, former Bush administration senior official Jay Lefkowitz, assuring him that to
"avoid the press," she could, "file the charge in district court in Miami, which will hopefully cut the press coverage significantly."

Pretty thoughtful treatment for a child molester. Ultimately, Epstein got a plea deal and all federal charges against him were dropped.
The arrangement was kept secret even from Epstein's victims, so they wouldn't be able to complain or contest the agreement in court.

Epstein received just 18 months. But instead of being sent to state prison, like most sex offenders in Florida, he served his term in a
private wing of the Palm Beach County Stockade. But even that wasn't lenient enough. After just three and a half months in custody,
Epstein was freed on "work release," meaning that he was able to leave the grounds for 12 hours a day, six days a week.
Sex offenders aren't supposed to be eligible for work release, but authorities gave it to Epstein anyway.

Apparently, Stone did something worse than molesting children. He mocked the people in charge and then helped Donald Trump get
elected president. For that, he is likely to die in prison.

We have now heard credible allegations that NBC News covered for politically connected rapist Harvey Weinstein and ABC News
covered for politically connected pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Roger Stone, meanwhile, is headed to prison for something nobody
even understands.

Prosecutors have a great deal of discretion in our legal system. The media has, rightfully, near-total freedom under our constitution.
But our whole system collapses once the public loses faith in its basic fairness. A huge driver behind Trump's election was the American
people's loss of faith in our leaders and our top legal, political, financial, educational and media institutions.

When rapists and pedophiles are protected as political disputes are criminalized, it's not hard to see why people are questioning the
leadership of our country.

  [England] A Satanic Panic?
Posted by: BIAD - 11-22-2019, 10:24 PM - Forum: General News and Events - Replies (8)

I would normally suggest that it's just kids messing about, but killing the animals -especially the cattle attacks, seems a
bit over the top.

Quote:'Occult' attacks on New Forest cattle and sheep.

The sheep were grazing in fields near Bramshaw.

A number of sheep and cattle have been killed and injured in a spate of apparently occult-inspired attacks on animals
in the New Forest in Hampshire. The attacks are believed to have taken between 16 and 20 November.
Three cattle were found with stab wounds at Linwood and two sheep were fatally slashed and marked at Bramshaw.

Satanic symbols were also found daubed on on Bramshaw Church.
The Commoners Defence Association (CDA) described the attacks as "devastating".

Bramshaw resident Judy Rudd saw the dead sheep sprayed with symbols.
She said: "It was intended to cause upset. It's very bothering to have someone out there with a knife and prepared to use it."
The owner of one of the injured cattle, who did not want to be named, said she was "very concerned".
"I went out in the morning to let them in... and I've seen this abrasion on the animal, on the side of the neck."

The sheep were found sprayed with a star symbol sprayed on it

An inverted cross and the number 666 were painted on the door of the part-12th Century St Peter's Church in Bramshaw.
Vicar Rev David Bacon said: "I've been told one of the symbols was a 666 which of course is a biblical sign of the devil,
or Satan, so it could have [sinister overtones].
"The only security we have is people's eyes and ears."

About 800 New Forest properties and their inhabitants have common rights dating back to the 13th Century which gives
them rights to graze their animals in the open forest. CDA chairman Tony Hockley said: "Any harm done to Commoners'
animals is devastating.

"Things like this will deter people from carrying on the tradition of grazing animals on the forest and that hurts everyone."
Hampshire police said it was investigating whether a series of "suspicious incidents involving animals" were linked, and
urged anyone who used the forest to be vigilant...'

[Image: cropped-New-True-Pundit-Favicon-Logo.fw_...2C32&ssl=1] True Pundit
By: Thomas Paine
Child sex trafficking investigators from the FBI’s New York field office have conducted an interview with a victim who
provided chilling details about allegedly being raped by Bill Clinton on a yacht in New England when the victim was a
young boy.

“We are treating him as a victim,” an FBI official told True Pundit in New York City prior the interview with FBI.
Top FBI officials arranged the interview with the victim, who said he was raped by Bill Clinton when he was just eight
years old. The interview was conducted by the FBI’s task force that was established to investigate sexual assault and
sex trafficking claims linked to Jeffrey Epstein and his associates.

That task force, also attached to the NYPD, remains active even though Epstein reportedly committed suicide in federal
custody just weeks ago. “We still have a job to do here and that’s what we’re doing,” one FBI official told this reporter.

The interview and the allegations against Clinton are both detailed and disturbing.
We have decided to publish the video of the victim’s account in his own words which contain explosive details of the
alleged assault and much more. Again, his account is graphic. Nonetheless, both I and the federal agents with knowledge
of the case believe the victim is credible.

To the FBI’s credit, the Bureau handled the victim with respect and dignity during the interview.
I personally escorted the victim to FBI Headquarters in Manhattan. Even though I have been a massive critic of the FBI,
I was impressed with the way they treated the victim who is now in his mid-twenties. Credit the FBI here for listening
and investigating.
But the road to this point was not without intrigue and tragedy.

I originally interviewed the victim with journalist Jen Moore who provided the details against Bill Clinton and other elite
politicians to child trafficking specialists in DHS Department of Homeland Security and the FBI in July 2018.

Moore, an advocate who investigated abused and trafficked children, had been in the process of investigating allegations
by the 26-year-old man that — as a young boy — he was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton and pimped out at private sex
parties attended by other D.C. elites.

But Moore and the traumatized victim wanted to contact Homeland Security and the FBI first to see if they would open a
criminal case against Clinton prior to publicizing the claims.

Four weeks after contacting the Feds, Jen Moore was found dead in a D.C. hotel room. Moore died of an apparent seizure,
though her death remains suspicious and the timing — beyond disturbing. After Moore’s death, the victim, fearful for his own
life, decided to not go public with that interview.
Now he is telling his story. And that is what he did for the FBI.

While in New York City, the victim supplied intelligence to federal agents including confirmation that he witnessed other
children and people being sexually and physically abused and worse on numerous “boat parties.” These parties were
attended by elite members of D.C. political class, according to the victim.

Prior to Jen Moore’s death I had a discussion with her in July that we should simply publish the allegations against Clinton
without tipping off the Feds. The victim at that time agreed to use his full name and identity and he said he believed he
was prepared to handle any blow back.

But Jen Moore said she wanted to work back channels and entice the Feds to voluntarily interview the victim.
She set out to do just that. See her video below where she hauntingly describes her frustration with the Feds just days
before her death.

The ultimate plan was if federal agents did not pursue or investigate the victim’s allegations, we would publish the details.
But we would wait to see what happened.

Now, this has come full circle. We return to my original strategy today and we are doing just that. And instead of waiting for
the FBI to take notice of the allegations, we marched right into the FBI.

I hope Jen would be proud. The victim here deserves credit for allowing us to publish these details.
Some details the victim provided have been withheld because they could impact any active investigations but they could be
published as the matters develop. Regardless, the victim’s account remains beyond disturbing and provides a first-hand
account into chilling details of Satanic-like rituals surrounding the exploitation and sexual assaults of children.

Once again, this is a warning of graphic content. The victim fears for his safety but believes working with the FBI has offered
him protection. I hope he is right. Again, he does deserve credit for green-lighting the publication of this interview and I
personally hope it helps him accelerate his healing process.

Europe's Christmas Greetings... I Mean, Warnings.
Posted by: BIAD - 11-14-2019, 10:04 PM - Forum: Europe - Replies (2)

It looks like The Daily Star is struggling to embrace multiculturalism in mainland Europe this Christmas.
Instead of the Star of Bethlehem glowing in the winter sky, there's the cloud of fear from terrorists...
imported terrorists.

Quote:Christmas market terror warning issued for Brits flying to Spain and Germany.

Britons heading abroad to the likes of France, Sweden and the Netherlands to
see the Christmas markets have been issued new travel advice.

'The UK Foreign Office has warned Brits of the “threat of terrorism” at Christmas Market destinations this festive season.
The government department has updated its travel advice for Britons travelling to the likes of Germany, France and Spain.
It is warning travellers heading abroad for the festivities to stay vigilant due to the potential risk of terror attacks.

The advice, also in place for countries such as Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands which are popular at Christmas, states:
"There is a general threat from terrorism.
"There may be increased security in place over the festive period, including
at Christmas markets and other major events that might attract large crowds.
"You should remain vigilant and follow the advice of local authorities."

The travel advice for Spain also warns tourists to be vigilant during the New Years celebrations.
Meanwhile the Foreign Office’s advice for Germany reads: “Terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in Germany.

“The German government has announced that increased security has been put in place as a precaution at public buildings,
major events, transport hubs and large public gatherings.
“You should be vigilant and follow the advice of local authorities.”

Meanwhile the advice for Brits heading to France warns of potential Yellow Vest protests, especially this weekend.
“Some protests linked to the yellow vest (gilets jaunes) movement continue across France, generally taking place on Saturdays,”
it states.

“The first anniversary of the yellow vest (gilets jaunes) movement falls on the weekend of 16-17 November, and there is an
increased risk of disruption because of this.” Despite the warnings, the Foreign Office says “most visits are trouble-free”.

It comes after a terror attack at a Berlin Christmas market in 2016 left 12 people dead after a stolen lorry was driven through
the streets. In 2018, five people were killed after a terrorist attack at Strasbourg's Christmas market...'
