I took this pic for elsewhere yesterday, but thought it was a neat idea for a bit of a thread .
So, show us your ... Battle station, gaming set up, music set up, relaxation space, a place you love to spend time, Hobby space, cooking space, Heck anything you love doing or just spending time chilling in, show it off! don't need to be fancy, it's yours!!!
Here is my space, this is my Music creation space, my internet space, my gaming space, my hobby space, this is where I relax and forget the World, or explore it on the web!
I was born with a Thorn in my Soul, sometimes it hurts.
Nature gave us one tongue and two ears so we could hear twice as much as we speak.

I read this thread earlier and noticed that the -usually bored, Boy In A Dress seemed
to be intrigued by the posts too. So I took a quick snap of my ancient computer an
its environs.
It was only after I attached the image that I saw why BIAD was interested earlier.
I believe he's catering for Wallfire's fallen crest.

That is clearly a refurbished Captain's Cabin on a pirate ship. I am not even going to ask how you managed to get a pirate ship inside the fence in your back garden. I will just mention that I stand awestruck.
Or maybe gobsmacked.
.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
Nah lol accumulation over time, doing without other things to build around a hobby/space etc.
If I could swap my space for another it would be a Balcony with a rainy mountain view .... now that is elite!
Y'all are turning my head.
The balcony with a rainy mountain view is precisely what I have today, as it is currently raining.
If I had the gumption to move this ragged but cushy love seat/recliner combo over to the picture window overlooking such, that is.
I never knew I was "elite" - I always thought I was just another dumbassed hillbilly!
Just try to imagine my chagrin...

I sit in not just a chair, but a thoroughly cushy love seat. Both sides of it expand into a recliner. Maybe it's just a double recliner. Between the recliners is a console, that has - now brace yourself here - built-in cup holders that are perfectly sized to hold my beer.
I use the top of an old cooler as a "lap desk" to support my laptop and allow for air circulation around it to keep it cool, even as I type this.
Now THAT'S livin'!
If only I had the drive to move it over in front of the picture window for the view...
But no one is perfect.

That is elite to me my friend! because deep down most of us want that beautiful quiet nature around us, but we just can't have it! Don't get me wrong, I love my Music stuff and tech stuff and Modern living, but I dream of those wet and rainy Mountain views with no sound but nature around me.
I honestly never understood the shit that Rednecks and Hillbillies seem to get, I think most folk have it backwards

It's true that the gate to my garden is small and such a large Cabin-cum-computer room would be
rather difficult to install. The trick is... it's inflatable. BIAD has the lungs, so he agreed to blow it up
and stow the rigging in his shed.
