Sorry, I was tending to my newest abomination of a food on the smoker. 

I hereby choose claim #1 as the lie! I think there may be some truth to the story, but being housemates with Mr. Astaire is my choice as the lie!

Claim #1 seemed kinda consistent.

Claim #2 was a bit of a weird one and not nearly as consistent..associated and hung with people, going on their first name basis but can't remember the names now...ok..perhaps..

Claim #3. 1983. Jodie would have been 21 years old, and in that Casino, cause the Hippodrome IS a Casino eight (8) years before filming Silence of the Lambs.

Not a real celebrity yet...

Claim #3 is the lie. Could also be #2 but I'll stick with #3.

Sounds similar to a 1988 Foster film 'The Accused'...based on a true 1983 event.

I thought it was number 2. Star wars never filmed in that studio until 2012. Beez wasnt a teenager in 2012 and Carrie Fisher definitely wasnt hot then.

That could be wrong though since he clarified he wasn't sure they were actually filming there.

Claim 1.  Our family is friends with the Astaire-McKenzie family.  My folks have stayed with them at various times, in California, their place in Ireland.  They're big equestrians, my family is also.  Mr. A's grandson, Tyler, was a friend of mine, about my same age.  We used to see how much trouble we could get into in Soho.   Claim 1 is true.


Claim 2.  There was softball games, and there was the Star Wars crew.  And there was Carrie Fisher.  And I did have a teen crush on her, but I was ALWAYS stuck watching my 2 younger brothers!      Claim 2 is true, and apologies for the Pinewood Studios gaff, I always just assumed.


Claim 3.  Absolutely false.  Totally.  Never knew Jodi Foster, thought she was hot, was only at the Hippodrome once, took a lovely British girl.  We had a great time.  A completely made up claim.  Totally bogus.  Well played for those who "caught" me.

I'da never got this.  I've seen so many chicks pull their bras off without taking their shirts off I just ignored that one.
