'A police robot has been deployed to patrol areas of Tunisia's capital, Tunis, to ensure that people are
observing a coronavirus lockdown. If it spies anyone walking in the largely deserted streets, it approaches
them and asks why they are out.

The robot questions people it sees out on the streets.
The remote-controlled robot has a thermal-imaging camera and uses Lidar technology.

They must then show their ID and other papers to the robot's camera, so officers controlling it can check them.
This is the second week of a nationwide lockdown to contain the virus, which has killed 14 people.

Everyone must stay in their homes, but people are allowed out for medical reasons or to purchase necessities.
The North African nation currently has 436 people being treated for Covid-19, the respiratory illness caused by
coronavirus.

How does the robot work?
It is not clear how many of the Tunisian-built surveillance robots, called PGuards, have been deployed by the
interior ministry. The manufacturer, Enova Robotics, told the BBC it was a confidential matter. It also refused
to reveal the price tag.

A four-wheeled PGuard has a thermal-imaging camera and Lidar (light detection and ranging) technology,
which works like radar but uses light instead of radio waves. The interior ministry posted a video on Facebook
about its futuristic mission to impose the restrictions not long after the lockdown started.

Some welcomed the move, while others said the robot "moved too slowly" to be effective.
But several videos have since appeared on social media showing people being stopped by a PGuard.
In one a man, who is asked if he knows there is an ongoing lockdown, explains that he wants to buy cigarettes.
The robot replies: "OK buy your tobacco, but be quick and go home."

Before coronavirus swept the world, Enova's clients were largely private firms, its chief sales officer Radouhane
Ben Farhat told me. The firm, which has its headquarters in the coastal city of Sousse, also produces a "healthcare"
robot, he said. It can give a preliminary visual diagnosis and use its sensors to measure certain things - and one
will be soon be working at a hospital in Tunis.

This would help minimise physical contact between medics and patients with Covid-19, Mr Farhat said.
Robotic technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly being used during these exceptional times as
has been seen in China, which has used disinfecting robots and thermal camera-equipped drones amongst other
gadgets to fight coronavirus...'

Quote:Joe Biden’s Coronavirus Disappearing Act.

'Former vice president Joe Biden speaks during a campaign stop in Los Angeles, Calif., March 4, 2020.
Amid COVID-19, the presumptive Democratic nominee has receded to the background.
Do they still put pictures on milk cartons? Has anybody seen Joe Biden?

Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee (Senator Bernie Sanders, the socialist from Vermont
from Brooklyn, remains in the race) has endured an extended absence from the front pages: In the New York Times,
he’s largely been relegated way back to A21 or A23.

His most prominent recent appearance in the Times was a recent Sunday column by Frank Bruni, who wrote about...
the diminished role of Joe Biden on the public stage:

"Every day, at the White House briefing about the coronavirus, Donald Trump gets the undivided
attention of the media, a national television audience bloated by crisis and as many minutes as
he wants to play a “wartime president,” as he grandiosely calls himself...
And every day, Joe Biden watches from the far reaches of the upper balcony as he waits and waits
to be declared the de facto Democratic presidential nominee and assume leadership of his party."

If you are in search of an illustrative example for the rhetorical strategy known as “damning with faint praise,” consider
Bruni’s assessment of Biden: Given the “unthinkably dire” prospect of Trump’s reelection, Bruni writes, “Biden made
as much sense as any other candidate.” Imagine that endorsement on a red, white, and blue banner.

Perhaps Biden sees himself roughly the same way: He is not Donald Trump, and, in the assessment of most Democratic
partisans -and that of a small but non-negligible group of  Americans who are not Democratic partisans but believe that
Trump is unsuited to the presidency -that should be enough. Biden can be Not Trump from the comfort of his easy chair
-why should the gentleman from Delaware exert himself unnecessarily?

Whatabout-ism is a critique that cuts both ways.
Joe Biden is a vain, shallow, dishonest, foolish, self-serving, cynical, exploitative, dim old coot.
Those who prefer Biden may insist that Trump is an even more vain, shallow, dishonest, foolish, self-serving, cynical,
exploitative, dim, slightly younger coot -de gustibus, etc. -but at some point Biden is going to have to put forward a
position on the epidemic that as of this writing is expected to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and could very
well kill millions.

To characterize Biden’s response to the most serious and immediately pressing issue of our time as a series of
featherweight banalities would be an insult to the oeuvre of Rupert Holmes.
Biden has called for -imagine this! -“a decisive public-health response.”

Biden proposes to respond decisively with a combination of platitudes (“restoring trust, credibility, and common purpose”),
wishful thinking (magicking a vaccine into existence), and memos (“The Biden Plan calls for issuing guidance to states
and localities to ensure first responders and public health officials are prioritized to receive protective personal equipment
and launching an education campaign to inform the general public about equipment that should be reserved for professionals”).

How serious is Joe Biden about this kind of thing? Consider his earlier campaign promises:
“I promise you, if I’m elected president, you’re going to see the single most important thing that changes America: We’re gonna
cure cancer."
Primitive peoples believed that the touch of a king could cure them of leprosy and other illnesses. Perhaps it is the case that
Biden, who plagiarized his way through law school at Syracuse, dabbles brilliantly in oncology.

Much of the debate about our presidential elections comes down to: “At least my guy isn’t your guy.”
(The most insipid sentence in common political circulation is: “Elections are binary.”) One of the many shortcomings of that line
of argument is that it sometimes is the case that neither of the two leading candidates is especially fitted to the times and their
needs.

There are politicos on the Democratic side and the Republican side who might make more plausible leaders during a crisis of
this nature: Rick Scott and Michael Bloomberg are two of them. The tribal-mascot mode of presidential politics is, for a certain
kind of person, very amusing and exhilarating, and it is good enough, I suppose, for times of relative peace, prosperity, and
security.
It is not good enough for times of genuine danger when millions of lives and untold trillions in wealth depend upon the competent
management of complex problems that cannot be simplified via fiat.
Trump or Biden? The virus doesn’t care.

The question of who wins the 2020 election is far from irrelevant, but we are lying to ourselves if we believe that some kind of
national savior is going to emerge from the Electoral College. This epidemic is shaking the foundations -it should shake our
assumptions, too.

And maybe it is. There’s a reason that nobody seems much interested in what Joe Biden has to say at the moment.
I hear he’s starting a podcast...'

Creepy, Globalist Elite Bill Gates is still pushing the New World Order Agenda.

Quote:(Natural News) On March 18, outspoken eugenicist Bill Gates participated in an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) event on Reddit entitled, “I’m Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. AMA about COVID-19.”
And during this event, Gates openly admitted to the world that the agenda moving forward is to vaccinate every person on the planet with coronavirus vaccines as well as track them with Mark of the Beast-type “digital certificates.”

Taking place just five days after he conveniently stepped down from the public board of Microsoft to “dedicate more time to philanthropic priorities including global health and development, education, and climate change,” this AMA event with Bill Gates ended up revealing the blueprints of the globalist endgame for humanity, which includes tagging people like cattle and controlling what they’re allowed to do based on their vaccination status.

Piss on Bill Gates. I'm already so old no one will hire me any more, so there goes his "incentivization" to get vaccinated and digitzed, right out the window! Too old to work, too young to get Social Security pensions, so here I am!

On a positive mote, I did get a letter from the government yesterday saying I've been approved for federal unemployment for 104 weeks (as opposed to the measly 26 weeks the state provides)... but no clue how I am supposed to get the money! The state told me I had to make  MORE job contacts per week (in the middle of the pandemic, mind you!), but no idea how to get those contacts to the folks who verify them so I can get paid.

Bureaucracy in action - my tax dollars hard at work! Maybe those nice fellas in the black SUV's will tell me how it works...

All on the BBC's website Sunday 5th April 2020.

'Two Pentonville Prison staff members  in north London die.'

In another world, they'd be shouting about oppressive over-reach and social control.

Quote:Issued March 24, the guidance tells hospitals to list COVID-19 as a cause of death regardless of whether or not there’s actual testing to confirm that’s the case.

Instead, even if the coronavirus was just a contributing factor or if it’s “assumed to have caused or contributed to death,” it can be listed as the primary cause.

Why do you suppose the CDC would want the coronavirus listed as the cause of death, even if these people would probably have died anyway from underlying causes?

Could it be they want everyone to panic over the high numbers so they will rush to get the vaccine when it becomes available?

minusculethinking

Quote:The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, or ICD, has established the code U07.1 for death by coronavirus infection. There’s a secondary code, U07.2, “for clinical or epidemiological diagnosis of COVID-19 where a laboratory confirmation is inconclusive or not available,” according to the CDC guidance.

“Because laboratory test results are not typically reported on death certificates in the U.S., NCHS is not planning to implement U07.2 for mortality statistics.”

Therein lies the problem.

“The underlying cause depends upon what and where conditions are reported on the death certificate. However, the rules for coding and selection of the underlying cause of death are expected to result in COVID- 19 being the underlying cause more often than not,” the guidelines read.

“COVID-19 should be reported on the death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death. Certifiers should include as much detail as possible based on their knowledge of the case, medical records, laboratory testing, etc.,” the guidance continued.

“If the decedent had other chronic conditions such as COPD or asthma that may have also contributed, these conditions can be reported in Part II.”
Whatever it takes to push up the numbers, right?   tinyok

I get so sick of being "awake" sometimes. Seeing the truth in how people are being manipulated by the media and the elite, Bill Gates in this instance", is very worrisome.

The people who are still "asleep" think Big Pharma will be their savior. They don't understand that they are the ones making them sick to start with (side affects from drugs, which leads to more drugs for the side affects), and they have an agenda behind it all: DEPOPULATION and keeping people sick so they stay in business!

Not saying everyone in the medical labs are evil. Some are good people who think they are working to find a cure for deadly diseases, only to be told to trash their findings when they come up with one.

Some scientists have been told by their supervisors their job is to NOT find a cure, just keep doing studies. They tell them, "The day you find a cure is the day we're all out of a job."
I read that in an actual article by a whistle blower several years ago. I don't have the source now to link it; you'll just have to trust me when I say it was an actual article by someone who worked in the lab trying to find a cure for cancer. He found one, and was told to shred it.
How many other cures have been found for other diseases, only to be trashed?

Sigh...

Okay, I got on a rant.  Sorry. The health topic is one I'm very passionate about.

Yes, I have to agree, this Virus has been Weaponized by the Far Left to Destroy our Economy and give the Lunny Dems another reason to try and Impeach President Trump.

I have an update from Bill Gates.
Quote:In a recent candid interview, Bill Gates outlined that, despite the comparatively small threat of Coronavirus, he and his colleagues “don’t want a lot of recovered people” who have acquired natural immunity. They instead are hoping we become reliant on vaccines and anti-viral medication.

Shockingly, Gates also suggests people be made to have a digital ID showing their vaccination status, and that people without this “digital immunity proof” would not be allowed to travel. Such an approach would mean very big money for vaccine producers.

Quote:Lukashenko: Elites are manipulating the coronavirus crisis for their own benefit

By MICHAEL LORD  5 April 2020
[Image: shutterstock_1577735110-702x459.jpg]

Belarus’ President, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed a concern that powerful groups are exploiting the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic for their own benefit.
In an interview with Russian Mir TV on Friday, Lukashenko said:

Quote:I once asked the question: is this pandemic, this coronavirus, a man-made phenomenon? I don’t know the answer yet, but I have my suspicions. Are politicians and others using this situation for their own purposes? You and I both know the answer to that question. You already see how it is used today . . . Doesn’t it seem to you that the powerful forces of the world would like to remake the world, without a “war” (Macron has already called it a war), through this so-called “corona psychosis,” or “info-demic”? Many people are asking, what will happen after the pandemic?

Lukashenko has refused to enact any coronavirus restrictions in his country, either socially or on businesses, and has famously claimed that “hockey, saunas, and vodka” are sufficient for individuals to deal with possible infection, as previously reported by Voice of Europe. Belarus is still claiming to have very low numbers of confirmed infections: 351 cases and 4 deaths thus far.
In his interview on Friday, Lukashenko explained that he was refusing to submit to pressure to enact restrictions out of fear of what it could do to a small country like Belarus:

Quote:What will happen to us? Other countries will survive. Russia has oil and gas which the world, including China, needs. China is a huge, powerful economy. America has the [money]printing press. They’ve spent $2 trillion and plan to spend $2 trillion more. My friend António Guterres, a sincere man, has proposed printing money equivalent to 10% of the global GDP. Even as things are, the dollar is gradually losing its value, and here it will just drop, giving rise to inflation. Where we will come out of this with our own ruble, we know.
Moreover, who will receive these $20 trillion? Where will this money end up? Will it not be a case of the rich getting richer, while the poor get poorer? I think it will. We’ve been pushed to shut down and sit and eat through the small reserves we have. Even in Russia, it cannot be said that their currency reserves are so large.
And then, having printed out this 10% of global GDP, those who stay on their feet will come to us and say, “Here is a little for you, but now you will do what we say.” That’s how the world can be reshaped.

Lukashenko added that the world will certainly be a different place after the pandemic passes, but that his own concern is only with Belarus’ fate in this new world.

An interesting facet of a growing narrative.

Quote:Most coronavirus deaths occurring in hospitals.

'The Office for National Statistics has released new figures on the number of deaths involving
coronavirus. The data gives us the most accurate picture of where deaths are occurring.

The story is about hospitals, so the BBC shows a picture of houses.

Unlike the statistics we have heard about before now, these include every community death linked
to Covid-19 in England and Wales. According to the data, which covers seven days, 539 death
certificates mentioned coronavirus, which is 4.8% of all deaths in the week up to 27 March.
That's risen from 1% of deaths the week before.

These figures seem smaller than the current total number of deaths for the UK - which stand at 5,373
-because most of the deaths from coronavirus have occurred in the last 10 days as the pandemic
picks up pace.

The vast majority of coronavirus deaths are happening in hospitals - 501 of the 539 deaths analysed
here - but some are occurring in hospices and care homes too, says the ONS.

Why the increase?
The latest data captures more than the hospital deaths of patients who had tested positive for coronavirus
and so definitely had the infection. It looks at community deaths - people who died at home or in residential
care who doctors recorded on the death certificate as probably having Covid-19.

What does that tell us?
Experts have always said there will be more coronavirus deaths happening than those recorded in the hospital
data. Currently, there are not enough tests to check how many people in the community are infected, or how
many deaths are linked to Covid-19, the disease caused by coronavirus.

So while these provisional new community figures are important to collect and analyse to help better understand
Covid-19, they cannot shed much light on the true toll. For now, the daily government figures on hospital deaths
are still the most accurate measure that we have of the outbreak and how the NHS is coping.

Why do they only go up to 27 March?
It takes at least five days for most deaths to be certified by a doctor, registered and the data processed,
meaning the figures are always slightly out of date. There will be weekly updates from the ONS about
hospital and community coronavirus deaths, which will allow experts to start looking at the figures to
track the disease outbreak.

Do they tell us anything else?
The data shows what experts have been telling us - that some people are at a higher risk of complications.
That includes people over the age of 70 and those with underlying health conditions. While everyone is being
advised to keep their distance from other people to help stop the spread of coronavirus, some people with
underlying health conditions need to take even more precautions to protect themselves.

More than 1.5 million people most at risk of needing hospital treatment if they catch coronavirus are being asked
to stay at home to shield themselves...'
