3 Planes Crash
#1
Here it goes (p.s. I'm no crazy)

Took all day to post this and now that I haven't seen any major crashes today I feel a bit better.

I only post this because a) I actually had 2 plane crash dreams that turned into realities the next day. And b) since it hasn't happened today, maybe somebody can point to the possible meaning behind it?

Last night there were 3 plane crashes in my dream (all in the SAME dream) and all 3 planes very nearly missed me.

The first was a big plane, 747 style, and it crashed while I was in my car. I saw it happen it may have been maybe 100 yards away? I couldn't even reach for my phone to dial 911 and I "awoke" in my dream to another part of the road I was on. I didn't even make it 10 seconds and I found myself in the same spot (next to a car dealership by my work) and I look up to see another disaster in the making. 2 of the 747's were heading for each other. When one plane moved to avoid the collision it clipped wings and they both came down.

I slammed on the breaks and jumped out to help, I remember the pilot coming out of one plane and yelling at me to "dial 911!". I fumbled with my dream phone trying to read the gibberish and call 911 (didn't work). I was "texting" 911 (sandra was her name) and she was speaking in a language that I did not know, so I ran to the car dealership.

As I approached the door of the dealership I saw a shadow in the giant glass window, and then I saw it: remember the move "2012" where the world ended? Well this plane was like the "big russian" plan they took to China. It was an ENORMOUS plane, "FAT" if you will. It was heading right towards me and while I wasn't Lucid, I did think for a second it would miss me. And it did...

It missed me by about 20 meters, but it crashed into a Propane Tank (of all things?!) and the explosion woke me up.

It's probably nothing, an overactive brain just exercising at night) but I just wanted an outlet to post this.

G'night everybody, and thankfully my dreams aren't always prophetic  tinycool

I don't know what to tell you is,,,,,,
Quote:RIVERDALE, Weber County — Two couples from Weber County died Wednesday when a small plane crashed down onto I-15 in Riverdale, snarling freeway traffic for hours.

Layne and Diana Clarke, ages 48 and 46, of Taylor, were killed in the crash along with Perry and Sarah Huffaker, ages 45 and 42, of West Haven, the Utah Department of Public Safety reported.

Does that count? Yes it's sad.

For what it's worth, here's my take on your dream. I feel like the three plane crashes, all in the same area, could be warning you to be careful - REALLY careful - as you drive by there. Is there a particular traffic pattern, a red light to watch for people "flying" through after the light has changed, or a hard-to-see area in the intersection? Be alert for drivers darting and hitting other cars and then causing them to crash into you, or they may dart over into your lane with no warning. Remember the "get ready" warning of the One... Two... Three count? The third plane being bigger makes me think it's something that you might be able to avoid if you heed the warning of the first two events.

Something else just occurred to me - the third one, the really big one, could be coming from behind since you saw it in the window first. Be alert for a minor wreck to happen in front of you, and then while you're stopped, being slammed from behind by somebody who wasn't paying attention.

I'm no psychic or anything, but if anything that comes to my mind can help, I'll throw my two cents worth in. Drive carefully!!!

I'm going to take the Freudian route on interpretation of your dream...

The plane crashes in your dream could represent situations that are outta your control.  So perhaps you have something occurring in your life right now that you feel is  kinda whirling outta your control.  Your being able to jump outta the car to run and help is a nudge on your shoulder that you are still in control of self... some things you can not control so you should not fret over them (all though most of us do that) and some things we can control, those are what we should focus on.  The third plane nearly missing you could represent your coming to a decision over said situation that felt outta of your control.  The plane instead crashes into a fiery explosion.  The explosion might represent the lightning bolt of realization in your head over coming to the realization of what you will do about said situation or some type of profound realization.  It might represent the rolling effects of your decision afterward, the ones you can control, good or bad.

[Just my opinion]

Similar to Scribe's explanation, I too believe that this may be some kind of warning.
At this point, there's no need to bring the woo-woo into it with psychic messages of cautionary advice from beyond the pale,
the majority of humans carry such a device onboard and it's a belter...! a great alarm system that doesn't need batteries or
jack-power access for a cable.

Your subconscious.

This guy who sits in the back of your mind never sleeps. It doesn't miss a trick and it doesn't give a shit about morality or
social constructs like fair-play. In fact, this wee-small voice that we rarely listen to, doesn't even speak the same language
as the alleged owner it resides with!

But to have such a strange companion to your life, there must be a forum or middle-ground where you as a socially interactive
animal and higher-thinking being, can meet and exchange reasoning for existing in this manner.
In my humble opinion, that counselling area is sleep.

You -the person who steers their individuality in an ocean of other like-minded and opposing others, acquires the skills to
continue and hopefully, propagate one's own lineage that will build on the mental and physical tactics learned from those
who came before.

There's nuances and the obvious to be decoded in the particular community one exists in and it's always an advantage to
learn about other worlds in order to prepare for any encounter and to seek opportunities to advance oneself and protect
what that individual holds dear.
(By the way, when I typed 'There's nuances and the obvious to be decoded', I typed 'me' instead of 'be'... was that the
subconscious listening in and telling me to get on with it?!)

The subconscious doesn't sully itself in such false realities, it just deals with input. It collects and retains information that
selfishly benefits it's continuation as a living creature. It sees, hears, tastes, touches everything it comes in contact with
and retains the information for any future use to benefit it's existence.
But along with that accumulation of simple, complex, asinine, serious information, comes rational planning and postulation.

To out-wit danger and seek advancement, the subconcious runs contingency plans based on the available data.
It schemes, muses and deduces ways of protecting the physical and ergo, preserves itself and 'host'.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting the subconscious is a separate mental entity -as such, it's just that it's evolutionary
system that works in an environment unburdened with the general baggage we all -as social animals, deal with everyday.

One might say that such deliberations over the pros-and-cons of every possible scenario must surely be a waste of time
and out here in the world you think you're kind-of in control of, that would be a decent suggestion.

But let's say there's an idling truck parked on the layby of a road and you glance at it as you pass by going in the opposite
direction in your car, what possible effects can it have on your safety?
Your subconscious will run the numbers on the possible viable and inanely stupid possibilities of how that vehicle could have
a positive and a negative effect on you.

It doesn't bullshit itself about time-wasting and it doesn't feel embarrassment when conjuring potentiality of danger or benefit.
Think Rainman with a big freakin' attitude!

It's like the evidence that males are more aggressive than females, evolution evaluated that a physically-weak male will tend
to be childless due to a mate seeking a better chance of safety with a physically-stronger male.
Any offspring produced from the cogitative-reasoning female and the physically-strong male have a better platform to function
in a safer environment created by the pair, it's just the best evaluated projected outcome based on provable facts.

But we as an individual cannot function in such a robotic, unfeeling manner, the perilous and subtle variables that confront
us everyday would grind to a halt if we perceived our multi-diverse environment in such a black-and-white tone.
So we have our subconscious do that for us with it's buried no-nonsense appraisals being diluted with our psychological sieve
only using parts of the advice it offers.

But at night when we sleep, that mesh... that constructed barrier is weaker and that's when Mr. Subconscious comes a-calling!
The vital self-protecting information that it has can only be dislayed in the language that the fawning, bullying, kindly, cruel,
appreciative consciousness can understand, so it's offered as images that represent proposed ideas of assisting continuance.

Water in the real world may mean something entirely different to the unfeeling, selfish subconscious , but the lateral perception
we hold when we're out-and-about in that real world can possibly decode the set of mental images we call 'dreams' and interpret
into something we might be able to use for our advancement.

In regards of DFC's dream, it could be business concerns at where he works and his deliberations of the car dealership.
Deep within his mind, he may disapprove of ideas on improving the company and evaluating the limited information he has
gathered, foresee the possibility of redundancies or salary-changes.

The destruction is happening above him, a possible metaphor that decisions that may effect DFC are taking place in the
higher echelon of management. DFC is aware that in the second collision, the wings merely clipped each other as if an attempt
at avoidance was taking place. I'd suggest DFC's subconscious was displaying this scene as the gathered facts cannot determine
a 'guaranteed' outcome and decisions out of his hands 'may' take place that effect him.

The problems in struggling to assist by using the telephone and the inability to understand 'Sandra' could be the doubt he
subconsciously feels because the rational belief that other more-pertinant facts have not been acquired and with all respect
to DuckForCover, could be a visual display of 'should I care...? Is this my personal problem?'

The reflected image of the crashing plane as he fled towards the safety of the car-dealership business (accepting the 'big-ness'
that all will be okay?)... could be an awareness of a possible outcome, but the unwillingness to deal with a notion that may or
may not happen.

Still being able to see it as a reflection may be a way of patting oneself on the back to support the confidence that at least,
it could happen and you're aware of it.

The propane tank could be a victimless target that may be interpreted as DFC's view of a lot of talk, a big effect and...
well, we'll never know DFC's subconscious opinion of the outcome due to his waking. But he did witness the three planes
crashing and that may mean his subconscious is telling him any problem it's mentally perceived has been contemplated on
as an 'on-looker'... a viewing participant that could be effected and that position would only change if he interacted in the
event.

I'd be intrigued though, if you can recall what you believed the language 'Sandra' was speaking in, DFC!

Ah yes... but are REALLY taking the cat to the vet or are you dreaming it?!
Is your subconscious telling you... blah-blah-blah!!

With all due respect to BIAD and the other dream analysts. (Why IS the word anal in there?   tinybighuh  )

Planes mean flight.
Flights soar up.
Crashes indicate fear.
3 (or4) planes involved...

I think DFC's subconscious mind is letting him know that my bar tab has been soaring up the last 3 or 4 times he's used it to buy drinks.
He's scared I'll find out and is thinking of flight.
The propane tank "blowing up" is me when I find out and get hold of him.

I think he should just pay my bar tab and we'll all sleep better tonight.

Quote:Air planes represent our goals in life (soaring to new heights). This seems to say you have tried three times to achieve a goal, but it came crashing down, or almost did, (because it missed you).

The first was a big plane, 747 style, and it crashed while I was in my car. I saw it happen it may have been maybe 100 yards away? Quote:Cars in dreams represent our body. You were in your 'vehicle' (body), when you found yourself at your workplace. You saw two planes about to collide, which means you saw two goals near you crash down again. Still, it missed hitting you. This tells me this is somehow indirectly affecting you.  Someone's actions at work could be affecting the outcome of your goals.

I slammed on the breaks and jumped out to help, I remember the pilot coming out of one plane and yelling at me to "dial 911!". I fumbled with my dream phone trying to read the gibberish and call 911 (didn't work). Quote:Someone at your workplace is counting on you to help them achieve their goal, or fix the mess they made from the "crash".  You tried to help, but you were not familiar with the language (type of work) to accommodate his request, so you left.

As I approached the door of the dealership I saw a shadow in the giant glass window, and then I saw it: remember the move "2012" where the world ended? Well this plane was like the "big russian" plan they took to China. It was an ENORMOUS plane, "FAT" if you will. Well, that's my two cents, posted in green. It goes along with BIAD's post, only put in simpler terms.  He did better at explaining it in depth. minusculegoodjob
This is the meaning if you analyze the symbols, but it could also be prophetic, so keep your eyes to the skies! tinyhuh

This is deep. Ignoring the obvious constant mentioning of drink, someone else paying for that drink
and the rage exposed possibly due to that imbibing, it seems Gordi's explanation hints at a need of
something just out of reach of identifying.

It might be drink... delivered on an aeroplane.
tinywondering

And paid for by an aviation company.
I think.

So very much to decipher and take in!! Thank you for the ideas!

A few things, @"Spirit Scribe" touched on something there that's interesting. The area that the plane crashed is literally FEET from where hit that deer a couple of weeks back. So maybe the deer was "incident #1" and 2 more will follow? I'll definitely change my route to avoid #2 and #3 (that road is bumpy anyways and probably does a good number on the shocks).

@"BIAD" I'm going to try and explain this the best I can but it probably won't do justice: The language was in shapes. Like the words were coming on my screen in blocks of elementary school shapes but it's almost as if I could hear what they were saying (struggling to explain this). It wasn't anything I understood but (for example) if I saw a square I was repeating out loud what the name of that "word" was but didn't understand it (and then I was getting frustrated).

There is a bit of drama going on at work, mainly people stuff but some things that are tied to the well being of the company itself (but nothing out of the ordinary - new projects, customers, some jobs leaving, people with other job offers, etc.).

Like I said yesterday, I'm just glad my dreams aren't the prophetic type in this situation. It's an empty, scary feeling when they are and it worried me all day yesterday.

@"BIAD" - you're first post made me certain that if I ever sought the services of a mental health professional you should print off & frame a fancy foil embossed degree and set-up a nice leather chair. I would certainly sit down and spill the beans over a nice glass of scotch (on @"gordi" of course...)

And speaking of that @"gordi" - the thought of your tab did cross my mind. I have written proof that @"guohua" told me it was OK... (p.s. - don't ask for the proof, it doesn't exist  tinylaughing  tinycool )

I certainly can't remember a period in my life where I have had this many extremely vivid dreams night after night. Can't help but think of Astr0 ...

My advice would be -as the keeper of Boy In A Dress, would be to keep clear of the
crazy basta... I mean, the hermaphrodite with 'out there' views.

In regards of Gordi...? The pair of 'em are as bad as each other. They like sheds, which
is always indicative of those who you may see on a midnight bus talking to a strangely
-shaped item of fruit or making shapes in their raincoat pockets.

BIAD and Gordi mean well, but just keep your fingers away from the bars.
