Pilots & Their Strange Proposals...!
#1
Maybe 727Sky could comment on this...?!

Is this the most extreme proposal ever? Pilot boyfriend pops the question to his
terrified girlfriend by faking engine failure.

'Some opt for a candlelit dinner as the perfect setting for a marriage proposal. Others, a romantic trip abroad.
But this amateur pilot took his proposal to new extremes - by using a pretend engine failure to pop the question
to his terrified girlfriend, and secretly filming the whole experience.

Anthony Bordigon invited his girlfriend of two years, Katherine Wareham, to come on the plane ride with him
-despite her visible misgivings.

To make matters worse for the anxious flyer, her boyfriend decided to stage every flyer's worst nightmare.
Minutes into the plane ride, Bordigon asks his girlfriend to hand over a checklist, telling her not to panic.

But he does little to reassure her, adding: 'I'm not getting any response on the controls here' and
then warning her that they may even have to make an emergency landing in a field.
'Verify flight ring is engaged,' the terrified passenger reads. 'Initiate ring engagement process.
Follow steps 11 to 14.'

When she finally realises its a marriage proposal she shouts: 'I hate you!' - before bursting into tears
and screaming. But he tells her to continue reading.

'Will the pilot in command love the passenger forever? Check. Will you marry the pilot in command?'
she reads, still sobbing.
Luckily for Bordigon, she accepts his extraordinary proposal, telling him she had no idea it was coming
and that he is an idiot.

Since the clip was uploaded earlier this year, it has clocked up over 1.5 million views.
Several people have commented on how romantic the proposal was. Joe B wrote: 'You made an old
man smile very big... Thank you both!'

But not everyone was convinced that Bordigon's girlfriend appreciated the way he did it.
'This is forced. She knew if she had said no, he would have thrown her out of the plane.
That's why she is crying,' claimed Awsome Crafter...'

I would have said no, and threw him out first for scaring me like that!

Wait, I would first find the parachutes and put one on.   tinylaughing

There are professional Pilots and then there are those who just so happen to have gone to flight school and can manipulate an aircraft's controls.. This was non professional...but golly gee it darn sure worked...

Myself being a professional I have never asked someone to marry me... The females of my life have always hinted and popped the question to me... It is better to be the one chased than to be the chaser...

As a man, if you can get them in bed (that is acceptance unless they are just horny) and they are willing fun passionate bed mates on a repeatable basis.. It won't be long before their clothes, tooth brush, and make-up appear in you home...date of wedding is soon (soon being up to a couple of years) to follow....

all this is just my opinion and experience..

As far as I am concerned the girl in the article is a coward.. so she would have gone on my cull list and the check list for how to break up with a cowardly female would have been used... (funny ?)

Sorry just woke up and have not had enough of my life's blood (coffee) to be coherent
