It's amazing man has progressed at all, seeing as how all those in power back then tried to stop new inventions.
I'm ready for that "free energy" now that they've been keeping from us, and those medical beds that can cure what ails you just by lying on them, and how about those food machines that will prepare whatever you want to eat at the push of a button?
Sounds like science fiction, doesn't it? I'm sure all those inventions mentioned above sounded the same to the people back then.
