Check.  Recall I mentioned in my "Europe" thread that the continental European states are essentially authoritarian police states.  Anyone challenging the narrative of the ruling clique gets water cannoned or worse.

Remember, folks.  Just because a country has democratic procedures for voting does not mean that they value individual freedoms.
