Brexit: UK votes to leave EU in historic referendum
#5
The final vote for the United Kingdom to stay or leave the European Union arrived on
Thursday 24th June 2016 with the slim decision that the people wish to leave.
The numbers were 48.1% to remain and 51.9% to leave.

Prime Minister David Cameron stated he would resign from office in October 2016.

How The British Media Lied And Tricked Us Into Joining The EU -By Vernon Coleman

But don't kid yourself, this media will tell you that the sky is falling in. The City will
scream that money is pouring out into the Thames and we're in free-fall towards a
recession.
(Probably along the lines of what Armonica_Templar suggested)

But the markets are based on confidence and confidence isn't tangible. It can be
nurtured, moulded and interpreted in many ways.
Long before this decision came about, the Powers-That-Be should have listened to
the country and not just it's capital.
