It was a local TV station here in Montreal. They were launching a new show and wanted to kick it off with a bit of magic here and there. I did that gig for free, as I wanted to have the exposure. Kinda paid off :)
I've done shows for corporations, close up magic for corporations, charity shows for school fundraisers and hospitals.
I've also done illusions as part of other performer shows.
Had my name in the paper a few times too.
At the end, before I stopped, I was commanding $800 CND for a 45 minutes gig.
If you take into account that this was almost 30 years ago...it wasn't bad :)
Hope it answers your question :)
And now... @"Ahabstar" gets to choose the claim he thinks is the lie. Choose wisely... :)
Here are the claims again:
Quote:1 - I had emergency surgery, died on the table, was brought back, put in an induced coma for three weeks in ICU and survived. Doctors didn't think I'd make it.
Quote:2 - I had a chat with Actor Michael Douglas in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.
Quote:3 - I was a semi professional illusionist (like David Copperfield) for seven straight years and have appeared on TV.
