Someone check my math for me please -

The volume of a sphere is calculated as (4/3)*pi*r^3

The radius ® of Earth is 3959.8 miles

(4/3)pi*(3959.8^3) = (4/3)pi(62,089,727,515.192) = (4/3)195,060,631,825.119 = 260,080,842,433.492 cubic miles

which is slightly over 260 billion cubic miles... for the volume of the entire planet.

But Yellowstone has nearly TWICE that volume of molten rock contained within it - almost twice the entire Earth, contained within a small portion of Earth.....

Yeah - that's why it's trying to burst out! LOL
