For those of you who like neat survival stuff, I thought this to be interesting.
A flashlight where the light is so intense, it can start fires.

The most important feature, however, is an automatic lockout mode which prevents the $200 FlashTorch Mini from accidentally powering on in your bag, turning your camping gear into an instant, but presumably unwanted, bonfire.
will stick with rubbing sticks together to make fires ..... besides the high-tech toys will fail when you need em most ..... plus without the added weight of useless high tech toys can move faster .... cover more ground ..... less chance of being detected .....

Being as I'm not the one hunting muzzies, it wouldn't hurt for me to have "in case of". (grins)
I have a thing for flashlights and cameras. Can't afford the cameras I would like to have, but over the past years, where I worked graveyard shift, we were required to carry a flashlight. It became somewhat of a competition to see who had the best one that would shine the brightest and have the most functions. I think this one could win.
Some people paid over $100 for their flashlights, but I couldn't go that route; too expensive for my pocketbook!
I could never carry it on my person because I drained the batteries before the night was over. Put new ones in... same thing.
I had a nice one, but keeping batteries was expensive enough, without using the light bill money to buy a flashlight. LOL

I do that too . The wish list of stuff that I will buy when I win the lottery. It's something nice to dream about sometimes.. hahaha..
