So....how was your day?
#1
Figured this would be a good place to post our goings on with daily life and such.   :smalleyeroll:

Whether it be just a silly incident or a bitchin' rant about work or what not, we want to hear it.

As for me, I've been AWOL lately due to work.

Right now, am sitting out here in 100 degree temps, working a fair, and its very dirty/dusty.
Red dirt in fact, so my time on computer will be limited.

Our long work hours are from 11 am until 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning.
So yeah, to say I'm tired and hot would be an understatement. Ha

We'll be working thru Sat, but should have more time next week to log on and post to social media.

Hope everyone has been doing alright.

Now let me see what trouble I can get into while I'm here.   minusculebiggrin

I have been awol as of late also. I have been unwell and besides that - the kids keep me really busy.

Some good news is my husband  is back to work. It is strange to have the house to myself, well until the kids got out of school.

My biggest gripe is the heat. We don't have  air conditioning. I'm ready for fall. Not winter mind you, but autumn.

Worked this morning. Just got up from a nap. Yep, people my age do that lol

Working tonight. I've had this fever for beer for the last few days. You know, when you feel like swallowing down a barrel but just can't because of the schedule. Now... THAT is a rant ! Poor me. Yes !

Friday evening maybe... tinyangry

Well it was too late to book Donald Trump being as his schedule was filled up.

But his son, Donald Jr., did make an appearance yesterday.
(and no, we did not get to see him)

Trump Jr. at Neshoba Co. Fair

Not as hot today, showers popping up cooling it off some and keeping the dirt down.

Yeah, this event here is an odd duck for sure.

Anyhow, am a happy camper...just got my case of fart bags in.
Yep you read that right   minusculebiggrin

Airbrush doesn't do well here, too many preppies..they do not do airbrush.
However, our little bit of novelties does pretty good fortunately.

Fart bags, puff cigarettes and stink bombs mostly.
Bratty little heathens around here I must say.

I had a full day off ! YAY ! And another one tomorrow...dayum...

Louise and I will be going to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg. It's an historical attraction, actually the whole village is like life was in 1860.

Went there with school when I was a kid but hardly remember any of it. So did Lou. So we're looking forward to it. A full day back in time...

You're time travellers!!

Enjoy.

LOL No.

Was nice though. The water powered sawmill was pretty cool.

I was surprised to find out that since my last visit there when I was a kid, they've added a Mason Lodge that was previously used around 1875, with all the bells and whistles inside.

Overall, was ok. : )

Very NIce.
Sounds like you guys had a Much Needed Rest and Relaxing Time, No Stress and No Reason To Hurry! That's Good.

It actually RAINED here yesterday, Really Hard had some flooding in the desert areas and some Intersections Flooded.
Really Nice, cooled it off to 81 degrees yesterday.
All my trees got lots of rain water, I had watered earlier that morning long before the rain, so they got soaked twice.  minusculegoodjob

Is it a 'No-No'-Pro hair remover for your kilt-rubbing legs?

My second guess would be an invitation Madam Zorba's Rude-Looking Fruit Festival.
