A 28 year old woman (Kymberley Suchomel) who survived the shootings AND stated that there were definitely multiple shooters, has since "died in her sleep of natural causes".
She is quoted as saying:

In a strange way, her descriptions of the bullets coming from EVERY direction, hitting behind, beside and in front of her (but looking back/around didn't reveal the position of any shooter) kind of ties in with another theory that I came across regarding the use of helicopter drones...
It has been pointed out that the Concert was taking place directly opposite the JANET facility at McCarran Airport.
(JANET = "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal")
This is where the USAF bases it's small fleet of airliners which service the Nevada National Security Sites at Tonopah Test Range and Area51!! (Carrying staff in and out.)
Now... "What If" the USAF (or other powers "that be") decided to test a new military drone on Live Targets... or were tasked with carrying out an "exercise" on these targets for whatever nefarious purpose?
It would be handy to have a convenient place to take off and land which had it's own (very tight) armed security and was basically only seconds away from the target crowd of concert-goers.
Hell, they wouldn't even necessarily have to leave their own airspace!

2 or 3 drones in the air. A patsy in a hotel room. Rat-a-tat-tat and you have complete confusion. Multiple casualties. Multiple shooters from unidentifiable locations. The feeling that the shooters were moving around. etc.
So, the question is.... could the shooter(s) have been drones?
