Manchester attack: Hunt for possible bomb maker as troops deployed.
'Police are said to be hunting for a possible bomb maker after Salman Abedi's attack
in Manchester which left 22 people dead.
An intelligence source told the Reuters news agency: "Was he acting alone or was
he part of a network of others who want to kill?...
"The concern is that there may be others out there who helped him to make the bomb.
Making a bomb of this sort requires a certain level of expertise and competence."
Home Secretary Amber Rudd has also expressed concern that Abedi may not have
been working alone.
On Wednesday lunchtime the first of more than 900 soldiers were deployed on the streets.
The heightened security response comes after Britain's worst terror attack since the
7/7 bombings.
Ms Rudd told Sky News the 22-year-old suicide bomber, who was born in Manchester
and was of Libyan descent, was known "up to a point" to the intelligence services....'
