In interview, Richards admitted burgling the home and spending cash on Mr Baldwin's credit cards,
because of the debt, but he claimed the two teenagers had confessed the killing to him and he
played no part in it.
But it emerged that after the killing Richards had bought a boat, video equipment and jewellery and
even tried to obtain credit in his former friend's name...'
