Oh the fun never stops when you're a flagging media that enjoyed a bump in ratings due to over-playing an alleged
particularly bad flu season.

England is now bending the knee to the Robber-Barons who run the basic systems of countries. Paper -in all its forms,
is always a good investment and it seems the massive sales of toilet-rolls and PPE in the medical world wasn't enough.
Now they demand that the plebs buy into the con.

WEAR A MASK (..OR ELSE!) Everyone MUST wear face masks on public transport from June 15 -or face fines.

'Brits have been ordered to wear masks on buses and trains — with fines for refusing.
Ministers will make it a “condition of carriage” for face coverings to be worn on public transport from June 15 in
a bid to slash the spread of coronavirus...'

First-off, it's people in England and not 'Brits' as The Sun likes to classify everyone and secondly, the act of
refusing to wear a mask is very different from not having a mask. Think old people, no internet and the natural
stance of forgiving the aged and unsure.

Anyway, along with 'instructions' that a business can't punish anyone who reports to have the virus symptoms
and takes time off work, this new ruling will allow you to have an extra hour in bed because the transport system
wouldn't let you on their buses or trains.

'Passengers without a mask will not be allowed to board or told to get off at the next stop.
British Transport Police will have powers allowing them to issue on-the-spot fines to rule breakers.
Young children, the disabled and those with breathing difficulties will be exempt...'

'British Transport Police'...? So if an elderly person and her friend decide to take a trip to the coast -an act my
ninety-six year-old mother-in-law regularly enjoys, and these supposed Transport Police alight the usually half-empty
bus and discover the pair without face-masks, they will bundle them off the bus in the middle of the countryside?!!!

Oh wait, this is all about London... again. I'm just surprised how easy the shitty-media are allowed to gate-keep and
repackage the information given out by the Government.

If we believe everything printed on social-media and the regular news-outlets, rapes, sexual assaults and late-night
robberies will increase due to those who are judged not have the appropriate safety apparel will be refused transport

The perpetrators may have face-coverings, so CCTV can be ruled-out, the poor Police sketch-artist will be out of a job
and convictions for crimes on public transport will drop alarmingly. I'm not holding my breath in anticipation for the next
Government ruling of having to prove why you're not wearing a mask by providing medical information to a bus driver.

So far, masks on public transport have been only a suggestion.
But The Sun reported in April the growing consensus on their effectiveness in helping to reduce the virus’s spread.
And with more and more datla suggesting the same, ministers are keen to enforce widespread use, especially with
the numbers of businesses and schools reopening set to rise.



At Thursday's Downing Street briefing, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said people in England will be “required to
wear face coverings” on public transport both to ­protect themselves and others from mid-June.

He said: “Face coverings will become mandatory on public transport. “That doesn’t mean surgical masks, which we
must keep for clinical settings. "It means the kind of face covering you can ­easily make at home.
“We are doing what many other countries have asked transport users to do.

"We need to ensure every precaution is taken on buses, trains, aircraft and on ferries with more people using transport.
“The evidence suggests wearing face coverings offers some protection against the spread of the virus.
"This will mean that you can be refused travel. If you don’t comply, you can be fined.
“Alongside transport operators, this will be enforced by the British Transport Police if necessary.
"You cannot travel unless you wear a face covering. There will also be other powers, ultimately it could lead to fines.”...'

Welcome to the covert world of compulsory niqab-wearing. In a nation that was once a pioneer in common sense and
fair judgement, we've now fallen into the category of a third-world 'Do-As-The-Latest-Military-Backed-Despot-Tells-You'
because of the generational weakening that we've allowed via the education system and our corrosive media.

It comes as:

*Nicola Sturgeon said she was considering making it mandatory to wear masks in shops

Masking the mouth and nose reduces the risk of asymptomatic carriers -who are infected but showing no symptoms
-from passing on the bug. A DIY face-covering can be used -even just a scarf or a thin cloth mask.
Private hire taxis and minicabs are also included in the ­measures.

But the rules do not cover bus stops, railway stations and other terminals.
Sir Peter Hendy, chairman of Network Rail, said: “We are expecting staff to wear face ­coverings themselves.
"This is about people (using public transport) being sensible. “We’re just saying, please wear them, it’s good for you
and good for protecting others. "I’m not expecting a huge upsurge in railway staff having to police this.”...'

And there's the media get-out clause, it's about asking the public to cover up their mouths when in cramped conditions,
not like The Sun's headline stated. A person can linger without a mask in queues -the national pastime of Britain, when
waiting for their particular mode of transport, but when you're boarding the early-morning bus to the seaside, beware of
the Oberscharführer waiting beside the ticket machine.

So... back to the usual key-words the failing media like to spew out.

'A study for the World Health Organization this week found using a face mask cuts the risk of catching Covid by four-fifths.
Experts say universal uptake could help Brits safely “resume normal activities” and “protect people in crowded settings”.
Linda Bauld, Professor of Public Health at Edinburgh University, called it a “sensible step” that could reassure commuters.
Meanwhile, a study claims Brits could hug family and friends without risking a second peak if everyone stayed two metres
from strangers...'

But did Linda suggest we just don't breathe on family and friends?
 

'Researchers from the University of Oxford say existing social distancing rules are unnecessarily strict and are damaging
the nation’s health and economy. They say it is possible to loosen the guidelines while still keeping coronavirus under control.
The study recommends creating social bubbles or small groups of contacts who could be treated as if they lived in the same
household and not have to stick to the two-metre rule...'

bald male of colour, you're a guaranteed dead-man-walking.

Bald men at higher risk of severe case of Covid-19, research finds
Researchers suggested that baldness should be considered a risk factor, dubbing it the 'Gabrin sign'

'Bald men may be at higher risk of suffering from severe Covid-19 symptoms, emerging evidence suggests.  

The link is so strong that some researchers are suggesting baldness should be considered a risk factor called the
"Gabrin sign", after the first US physician to die of Covid-19 in the United States, Dr Frank Gabrin, who was bald. 

The lead author of the key study behind the association, Professor Carlos Wambier of Brown University, told The Telegraph:
"We really think that baldness is a perfect predictor of severity." 

Data since the beginning of the outbreak in Wuhan, China, in January has shown that men are more likely to die after getting
coronavirus. In the UK, a report this week from Public Health England found that working-age males were twice as likely as
females to die after being diagnosed with Covid-19...'

WHOOOAAA... you can knock that off for a start. Men out-competing women in something? Tell 'em Greta.
 

Until recently, scientists have been at a loss at why this might be, pointing to factors such as lifestyle, smoking, and immune system
differences between the sexes. But increasingly they believe it could be because androgens - male sex hormones like testosterone
-may play a part not only in hair loss, but also in boosting the ability of coronavirus to attack cells.

This raises the possibility that treatments suppressing these hormones, such as those used for baldness as well as diseases like
prostate cancer, could be used to slow the virus down, giving patients time to fight it off.  
"We think androgens or male hormones are definitely the gateway for the virus to enter our cells," said Professor Wambier...'

But you don't know, you're just speculating that a low testosterone level may be a contributing factor. Maybe Professor Wambier
should read The Telegraph more, their headline states it.

'As well as the trial being discussed using baldness drugs in the US, a separate trial has been launched by Matthew Rettig, an
oncologist at UC Los Angeles, in 200 veterans in Los Angeles, Seattle and New York, using prostate cancer drugs. 
The trials follow two small studies in Spain led by Professor Wambier, which found that a disproportionately high number of men
with male pattern baldness were admitted to hospital with Covid-19.

In one study, 79 per cent of the men suffering with Covid-19 in three Madrid hospitals were bald.
The study of 122 patients, published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, followed an earlier piece of work
among 41 patients in Spanish hospitals, which found 71 per cent were bald. The background rate of baldness in white men of a
similar age to the patients studied is between 31-53 per cent. A similar correlation was found in the study among the smaller
numbers of women with hair loss linked to androgens. 

Other scientists said that more work needed to be done, but were excited by the potential link...'

These scientists shouldn't be that excited, it elevates white males into a lofty position of victim-hood entitlement, a place
-it seems, that everyone wants to inhabit these days. Soy anyone?

"Everybody is chasing a link between androgens …and the outcome of Covid-19,” Howard Soule, executive vice president at the
Prostate Cancer Foundation, told Science Magazine. Prostate cancer specialists are familiar with the role androgens can play in
disease because in the prostate, the hormones stimulate an enzyme that boosts cancerous growth.

In April, researchers published a paper in the journal Cell which showed that the enzyme TMPRSS2 is also involved in coronavirus
infections. To infect a cell, coronaviruses - including the novel SARS-CoV-2, which causes Covid-19 - use what is called a 'spike'
protein that binds to the cell's membrane, a process that is activated by an enzyme. In this case, it appears that TMPRSS2 may
be that enzyme. 

Scientists do not yet know if the enzyme responds in the same way to androgens in the lungs as it does in the prostate, but other
evidence appears to support the potential link. A study from Veneto, Italy, of 9,280 patients found that men with prostate cancer
who were on androgen-deprivation therapy -drugs that cut testosterone levels -were only a quarter as likely to contract Covid-19
as men with the disease who were on other treatments.

I thought bats were bald?
 

'Karen Stalbow, Head of Policy at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “There have been several recent pieces of research which indicate
there may be a link between male hormones and increased risk of Covid-19. This has led some researchers to investigate whether
hormone therapies commonly used to treat prostate cancer, such as enzalutamide, could reduce this risk.

“However, most of the research so far has been in the lab, and there is conflicting evidence over whether the hormone therapies have
the same impact in the lungs as they would in prostate cells. There are now several clinical studies starting which hope to address
these issues, but much more evidence is needed before we can know whether these hormone therapies would be an effective treatment
for Covid-19.”...'
