The BBC reported this unusually-neutral article on Monday 23rd July and considering the amount of violence
going on in London and the pretentious dis-arming of blame in some groups, the piece an island unto itself!

Unless -of course, the external-characteristics of the suspects in this report could go against a type of diversity
preference. A woman... a glass-ceiling contained woman is the victim and those dick-swinging men are the
aggressors. But here on the BBC website, they're impartial.

[UK] Beetham Tower: Woman attacked in Manchester Hilton hotel.

'Six people have been arrested after a woman had her neck slashed in a hotel.
Police said the victim managed to flag down officers outside Beetham Tower on Deansgate,
Manchester, at about 11:10 BST.



Four men, a woman and a teenage girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The victim was taken to hospital with lacerations to her neck but later discharged, Greater
Manchester Police (GMP) said.

Cordons are in place outside the Hilton, where three marked police cars remain.
Det Insp Patrick Goodrich said: "Thankfully the woman's injuries were less serious than first thought
 but we could easily have been dealing with her death - the thought is terrifying."...'

I agree, terrible behavior from guests in a hotel.

'...GMP [Greater Manchester Police] also said the attack is not believed to be related to terrorism or
thought to be a random act. Armed officers are no longer at the scene.

The four arrested men are aged 20, 24, 26 and 26, the woman is 20 and the teenage girl is 17.
They are all in custody for questioning and inquiries are ongoing, police said.

A section of pavement opposite the hotel outside the 340 Deansgate office building has also been blocked off.
Anthony Hilton, 32, who works in a nearby letting agents, told the Press Association: "There must have been 15
undercover and normal police cars out in the street.
"Police were running to and fro from the car park and the Hilton hotel."



A spokeswoman for the Hilton said a "serious incident" took place at the hotel.
"The matter is now in the hands of the Greater Manchester Police and we are co-operating fully as they
conduct their investigation," she said...'

BBC:

A stabbing that involved a female victim, four male suspects and a teenage girl. A family dispute...?
Is this standard behavior for a family squabble enjoying accommodation during a possible holiday in Manchester?
So many questions over a serious crime, but I have faith in the Police that they will get to the bottom of it.

I mean, stabbing someone is a crime.

'...Five people arrested after a woman was attacked in a hotel in Manchester have been released under investigation.
A 20-year-old woman was treated for lacerations to her neck after the attack at the Hilton in the Beetham Tower on
Deansgate.

Three men, a woman and a 17-year-old girl arrested on Monday on suspicion of attempted murder have been
released under investigation. A 20-year-old man also arrested remains in custody for questioning.

The released men are aged 24 and two aged 26, and the woman is 20.
The victim was attacked inside the hotel and flagged down officers outside the building at about 11:10 BST on Monday.
She was later discharged from hospital.

Greater Manchester Police said officers were continuing to investigate, and appealed for information...'

BBC Again:

(Notice the seventeen year-old teenager is not mentioned?) -shhh.

What happened...? didn't appealing to the people on the scene -who were arrested, bring salient details to the incident?!
Was there a political-slant on this case that had a bearing?

Maybe stabbing is the new norm and we should just get used to it. After all, Manchester is a big city, eh Sadiq?
