To add to @"OmegaLogos" list of movies, threads, and songs, I'll add this.
There was a show called Timeless on HULU that came out in 2016. It was about time travel; people having to go back in time to fix something because someone else had messed something up that wasn't suppose to occur, which caused a ripple effect in our current timeline.
I already had learned everything about time travel I know now before it aired, so I picked up on some things that were probably true in their story. It only lasted one season. I often wondered if the show was taken off air because it was hitting too close to truth?
Could have been removed because it didn't get the ratings to stay on, but I liked it.
If you have HULU, you'll have to do a search for it, because it won't show in their current listings. It appears they are trying to hide it from viewers.
