I didn't know it had been around quite that long, but I knew it had been around for a long time. I recall reading in 1980 or 1981 a report titled "Soviet Weather Warfare Plans". The Soviets, at that time, had plans and were investigating methods to use weather as a weapon by making the weather so miserable and unlivable around an opposing force that they were induced to stop fighting and surrender.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
