With UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson issuing some new virus-related advice on Sunday evening, the United Kingdom immediately
went into a fit in its devolved areas -with their own 'regulations', screaming that it's all just too confusing.
Except, it didn't really happen like that.
With the major British media establishments realising that an end to this current plague infection would also spell another fallow
time for their industry, they began to set out a new strategy. One that they surely chatted about at their late-night wine meet-ups
and looked worryingly at each other as they dismissed the small black boy after he'd delivered their county-lines cocaine.
It's a scary time for those outlets that rely on advertising. Companies aren't promoting their products because of the forced
-lowering of footfall and the public's tightening of purse-strings. But to release a captive audience to playing in the park or
visiting the countryside could mean they won't buy a newspaper or be glued to that terrible box in the corner of their rooms
for tips on how survive this BAME-hating curse.
Gate-keeping doesn't just mean allowing either free-flowing rhetoric from non-journalists or only their carved chronicle of choice
to instruct the assumed stupid public. No, it also means a false representation of that same audience to a particular authority in
order to slow, clutter or down-right stop something that the news industry know will have a negative effect on their partly-imagined
control.

Monday and Tuesday were filled with news presenters and newspaper columns relaying specific situations where individual members
of the British demos would find it at-odds with the guidelines that Boris Johnson laid out on Sunday evening -pertaining to work and
play during this current pandemic.
'If I cannot work from home, how do I get to work on the London Underground system and be at a safe distance from others?'
Ask those who print your newspapers and fiddle with the switches in media Editing room. Not everyone lives in London and works
in the media industry!
'If I can meet one-or-two people in the park, why can't I meet the same amount in my garden and use the same distancing advice?'
You can, if you have a garden, the public space of a park is merely an example. Not everyone has a garden!
'My company will not have all the safety measures in place due to the quick turnaround of instructions, can I refuse to go to work?'
You can decide to withdraw your labour at any time, the company doesn't own you. You are free to do what you want.
And it's that last sentence is important on many levels, the first -of course, is how the recent generations of our societies have slowly
been massaged into being -basically, serfs.
With the dilution of Trade Unions and the conjured-up 'understanding' of business employers, today's working environments have
changed from a place you went to earn your wages into a hub of 'friends'... a working community where each individual's in-office
or out, are relevant to the whole.
But this is a world the media present to you because this is all they know. Construction sites, manual labour and farming are foreign,
lesser to the ass-hole who writes a hundred-word commentary on the 'real' impact of following guidelines from a Government.
The media's underlying message is for you is that you have to go to work to better society, to support ourselves as a group and
conform to what they say in the form of suggestion.
You offer your labour in exchange for money. Those promissory notes that will allow you to purchase food and shelter for yourself
and your family are the sole reason why you do it. This isn't about what your co-workers will say around the water-cooler or whether
your boss will frown at you for not being at your employment on a Saturday morning, it's about you navigating your life to benefit
yourself and those who are important to you.
The sad part is the media have been implicit in this form of control and never once put forward a coherent reason for agreeing with
what really only benefits the employer. I saw it happen during the Wapping newspaper strikes in eighties London and I saw it on my
own patch here in the North-East of England.
Whole swathes of workers laid off and the only ones unaffected at the time, the soft-spoken, pussy-footing media with their shrug of
the shoulders and a comment of 'Que Sera, Sera' in regards of that time's recession, remained stoic and no Government policies
of redundancy came their way or calls to reduce manpower.
Isn't it ironic that only now, when the same media are seen as unreliable in general, that it's them who's positions look in jeopardy?
No, that dumbing-down of reality-perception has brought us to the point where the established legacy-media are emulating the public
when they ask asinine questions like "what do I do if I...?" You do what you decide and use commonsense.
It's what our Fathers taught us, we just forgot it and now with this global re-set, we have to remember again.
