He said invesitgators still don’t know why Pineda-Chicas was targeted for death by his friends.
Well, knowing a little about how gangs work, I'd say they killed him because he didn't complete a job they sent him on, he ratted to someone about the gang, he wanted out, or else he was used to initiate other new members into the gang.

But CNN iReport, which appears to be no longer active -- though archives remain accessible online -- states that it’s a “user-generated site” and warns that “the stories submitted by users are not edited, fact-checked or screened before they post.”
Even the site’s banner included the slogan “Unedited. Unfiltered. News.”
Former British spy Christopher Steele confessed that he used an unverified report submitted to a CNN website, where “random individuals” can post information, for his salacious anti-Trump dossier.
When asked whether the former British spy understood how the website actually worked, he confessed that “I do not have any particular knowledge of that” and noted he didn’t understand at the time that the site has “no connection to any CNN reporters.”
“Do you understand that CNN iReports are or were nothing more than any random individuals’ assertions on the Internet?” an examiner asked Steele.
He replied: “No, I obviously presume that if it is on a CNN site that it may has [sic] some kind of CNN status. Albeit that it may be an independent person posting on the site.”
According to the archive copy of the iReports site, the website specifically notes that none of the users who submit content can be described as working for CNN.
“Being an iReport.com user and creating and uploading content to iReport.com does not mean that you work for CNN, and you should never represent yourself as working for CNN,” the site’s FAQ section read.
The dossier authored by Steele alleged that Gubarev's companies “used botnets and porn traffic to transmit viruses, plant bugs, steal data and conduct 'alerting operations' against the Democratic Party leadership” and that Gubarev himself played a “significant” part in the operation while “under duress” from the Russian security agency FSB.
The latest revelation of using unconfirmed sources put the dossier’s legitimacy further into question, especially since the FBI extensively relied on the dossier in its warrant applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court in seeking to surveil Trump aide Carter Page.

“We have artificially created a state that evolves in a direction opposite to that of the thermodynamic arrow of time,” Gordey Lesovik, a quantum physicist from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology who led the research project, said in a university-published press release.
Great Scott Lesovik’s team worked with scientists at the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois to run thousands of experiments on a quantum system programmed to reverse time’s arrow on a single electron.
After thousands of trials, the physicists managed to restore the quantum computer’s earlier state about 85 percent of the time, but only if they were working with a simplified, two-qubit system. A more complex quantum computer with three qubits was too chaotic, and the time reversal experiment only worked 49 percent of the time.
Just like research into quantum teleportation has nothing to do with transporting people, there’s no reason to link this study to the notion of a machine that could travel through time. Rather, the scientists hope that their work can help quantum computer scientists make sure their software is actually doing what it’s supposed to by kicking it back through time and double checking its work...'

If we assume the man was innocent and the warrant was for something not involving violence or terrorism, it shows again how far
we've come. The victim was shot because the law enforcement were carrying firearms, people with guns can do that.

Mr Bush also said a number of improvised explosive devices attached to vehicles in Christchurch have been made safe. One man who was inside the al Noor mosque -the scene of the deadliest shooting -told local media that there would normally be dozens of people worshipping inside.
The witness, whose clothes had been splattered with blood, said the shooting lasted for about 20 minutes and said the gunman methodically went from room to room. "I don't know whether my brother is safe or not."
Another witness, Len Peneha, said he saw a man dressed in black enter the al Noor mosque -with people running away in terror. He also claimed that he saw the gunman flee before emergency services arrived.
Ms Ardern described the shooting as an "extraordinary unprecedented act of violence". "Many of those affected might be migrants to New Zealand. They have chosen to make New Zealand their home and it is their home. "There is no place in New Zealand for such acts of extreme and unprecedented violence which it is clear this act was."
Australia's prime minister said the country is "shocked" and "appalled" by the incident. He told reporters on Friday: "As family members with our New Zealand cousins today, we grieve, we are shocked, we are appalled, we are outraged, and we stand here and condemn absolutely the attack that occurred today by an extremist, right-wing, violent terrorist."
Players and members of the Bangladesh cricket team's coaching staff were reportedly on their bus and approaching the mosque for Friday prayers when the shooting broke out. Opening batsman Tamim Iqbal tweeted: "Entire team got saved from active shooters. Frightening experience and please keep us in your prayers."
Player Mushfiqur Rahim also posted: "Alhamdulillah Allah save us today while shooting in Christchurch in the mosque. We (were) extremely lucky...never want to see this things happen again....pray for us." The team was in Christchurch to play New Zealand in a third cricket test starting on Saturday -but the match has now been cancelled.
