Every year around this time people flock to the eastern part of Oklahoma to take the scenic route known as the Talimena Drive.
I had never been and seeing that we could use a break from the political turmoil in the US right now, I loaded up my mom and brother to take the trip yesterday. I thought it would be nice to just zone out for awhile and look at some pretty trees together.
Somehow I didn’t realize it would take all day. The drive there was around three hours. We stopped once along the way at a casino for a bathroom break and to throw away twenty dollars.
After what seemed like forever we finally made it to the place I’d heard so much about. Apparently so did everyone else. I couldn’t believe the amount of people there! There were cars parked everywhere along the side of the road with people out enjoying the scenery. Most of the parking areas for viewing were packed but I was able to find a few spots to park and take pictures.
I didn’t think the hills in Oklahoma were very high up, but as we went up into the mountains I noticed we were above the clouds. It was beautiful. The best part was most of the trip was in an area of bad cell service so we got to spend that time enjoying our time together before coming back to the real world.
It was around nine hours of driving but I would say it was worth it.
Well the media is anouncing Biden has won. And the Trojan Horse nears the gates. More on that later. I know right now the internet is rife with this or that fraud accusations and counter accusations. Since we are still in the middle of it all, evidence is scant one way or another.
Not on this one. It has been going for over a year in Wisconsin. Please read the whole thing for the deep dive. The TLRL version is thus:
ACT I
- The Wisconsin Elections Commission ignored state law in October 2019 by allowing 234,000 names of people who had moved to remain on the voter roles. Voters whose names do not match up with their address.
- The same set of statutes requires this same commission to contact them by mail to let them correct the data. They have 30 days to do so. If they don't, they are are supposed to be removed from the rolls. However, under Wisconsin law, they can show up at the polls with valid ID to register and vote on the same day. No disenfranchisement.
- The WEC was taken to court to make them heed the law. They refused. The judge held them in contempt of court. The WEC appealed. Three other judges on the same circuit court over ruled the first one and allowed the WEC to keep the names on the rolls.
ACT II
- In the spring of 2020, Dane County and Milwaukee County (representing the largest number of people in the state) had their County Clerks tell voters to claim they are "indefinitely confined" by the Governors lock down orders for COVID 19. That status is reserved for people actually in legal confinement (jail). 249,000 people in Wisconsin claimed this status for voting purposes even though the vast majority were not in jail. A 238% increase in requests than normal.
- Under this status, the individual does not need to provide voter ID when doing mail-in voting.
ACT III
- These voters were not able to vote for third party candidates.
- The WEC denied the Green Party's application to be on the ballot even though they had twice as many signatures as the law requires.
- Kanye West was denied ballot access.
Conclusion:
The people charged in Wisconsin with over seeing a fair election colluded to 1) maintain over a quarter million phantom voters on the rolls, 2) allowed and encouraged voters to claim a status outside of the laws intent, 3) allowed and encouraged mail in voting knowing voter ID is not required for these voters, and 4) denied left leaning Wisconsinites any choice in left leaning candidates other than Joe Biden.

A great deal of the slangs most of us remember are and were from post-war times. But since, following generations have coined their own verbage, exclusive to themselves.
But as with everything, it either becomes popularized or bastardized. The usage of some words takes older listeners by surprise at the seemingly absurd meaning trying to be conveyed, thus are considered bastardized. Other times it just seems an evolution of meaning as tech is brought to light and new horizons open.
English is a complex language with nuances, inflections, and a host of regional dialects and accents.
You will notice alot of people poor in oratory ability using phrases/words like .......... Like, Uh, So, I mean, you know, and others as a preface or as a tool to give time to think while formilating the conversation... Not everone is a good orator (speaker)

Bonus tidbit. When the US Army occupied Heidelberg, they made the streetcar drivers wear SS service caps. Guys, I just saw the strangest UFO related thing I've ever seen, and I've seen many!
It's hard to make out from the picture I took. It's dark and very grainy. I tried to edit the lighting in my picture manager so you can see it better, but I'm not very good at this sort of thing.
My hubby has his garage pretty close to our house and he came in all excited wanting me to go out and see that thing in the sky. I grabbed my camera, both the phone and my regular one. The phone actually caught a better picture.
It looked like a portal of light coming down from the sky with little ships wrapped around it. One at the bottom pulsed bright for me every time I asked it to.
Can you see it?
If anyone knows how to "doctor" this up to see it better, I'd sure appreciate it.
The little lights are barely visible, but I asked the bottom one to light up for me, and I got it when it did.
