Damn water pump died!

To be honest, I knew it was on its last leg.

Still pissed me off when I turned on the tap to wash my hands, and got nothing.

Got some phone calls to make.   tinyok

Now I know for sure you live out in the sticks. Argh, no water, that sucks!

I spent all day annoying my neighbor with my 2-stroke leaf blower, followed by some chainsawing.

Got a call at my hubby's nursing home. He went into cardiac arrest, and they did CPR. I had my parents drive me to the hospital ER. They got him stabilized and ran tests. He now has double pneumonia. He's already had a rough week, with a UTI and congestive heart failure. I think the double pneumonia just made things worse. I got to see him. He was awake and somewhat alert. I told him how much I loved him and that they would be admitting him. I will see him first thing tomorrow morning. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Please keep him in your prayers.

I will be taking something to help me sleep tonight. I'm scared the phone will ring though. I think I would die. I feel like my whole world is crashing around me.

Oh... :(

Can't pray. It involves a hunch of opening wrong kind of portals, and also a thoroughly rotten relationship with God.

Sending positive vibes and hoping he is gonna be fine.

It was very strange yesterday. In the grocery store.

A long as fuck queue. This dude shows up from nowhere and goes right in front of me in the queue :D

I said "Look, the back of the line is not there"

He said "Yeah"

A fucking "Yeah" :D

I was thinking that okay motherfucker, it is on. You have exactly 2 choices. Wait there, in front of me, without a head. Or wait there, in front of me, without a head. That is one choice basically right?

Then i calmed down. He only had one beer to buy, and i am not exactly the busiest man on planet Earth.

Bought jeans.

Really cheap, too! Only 12 euros and 90 cents.

Cool. Now i have brand new jeans. Let's drink and smoke.

My American friends, i swear you have literally no clue how complicated that word is.

Look at how the mindless masses call us names, Ninurta.

Let's not care. Show up, have a beer, and some bong hits. I will warm up the sauna. I think you might enjoy that. It has scientifically proven health benefits also.

Been drinking beer and smoking weed for 3 days straight.

This is starting to demand some serious endurance.

Choices. Endless amount of motherfucking choices.

Are they even real? Was it pre written on the stars that i make this post today? And i am just a worn out vehicle that carries my soul through this experience that is supposed to be my life somehow.

I am so tired and so very blessed.

My water pump died yesterday evening. A very inconvenient time for it to die and I did not expect to get service right away.

I had spoken to the water guy early last month about replacing the pump but he said there was a supply order problem. They had none and they were on backorder.

I was not expecting service until maybe Monday, and I was expecting to be raked over the coals. So you could have knocked me over with feather, when I called my brother, and he told me he had already bought me a replacement pump.

He said he was in Home Depot last week and he noticed they had a pallet full of water pumps like the one that died. He said, he remembered me telling him that the water guy said their supply was on backorder, so he bought one for me.

Of course he had forgotten to tell me he had made the purchase, and of course he would not let me reimburse him for it.

He came over and installed the water pump for me. It took until 2 o'clock this morning for him to finish.

Now, you have to understand my brother. He is an engineer, and you have to know one for this to make sense.

Everything has to be precise, down to the nanometer. It took him twenty minutes to cleanse the brass spigot from the old unit. Every single bit of debris had to be removed. The darn thing was cleaner than it was before it was purchased 20 years ago.

My brother is beyond meticulous. If a washer calls for a cup of detergent for a full load of clothes, my Brother has to measure the detergent down to grams if he is just washing a couple of shirts an a few pair of pants.

Gotta love him.

Anyway. I have water thanks to my quirky, nerdy, thoughtful and loving Brother. I thank God for him, and I can't help but see God's hand at work, in all of this.

As I said. I feel very blessed at this moment.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove
