We're vulnerable like that. Women want to be WANTED, but men need to be NEEDED. It's our weakness.

I'm all for free speech and all that, but don't give away our secrets!!
tinylaughing tinybiggrin

I only did it because a woman, long ago - my son's ma, in fact! - gave me the secret key to women and how to handle them. I felt it was only fair to pass that favor on in a time of need...

BTW, I'm not giving the secret key to women out here for free (it's NOT the "women want to be wanted" thing!) - PM me if you want to really know!

I can't just turn it loose for free on the open internet - women would not stand a chance against masculine wiles if I did that, and you know how they take pride in the bulwark of their feminine wiles!

Thank you for your words, Ninurta. I agree with what you have said. Unless things suddenly go sideways for me, I'm likely to outlive her other mom who is a good bit older than I am so it is great they are working things out and strengthening their bond. If I go first then she'll have her other mom for support which is a good thing.

I hadn't spoken to my dad since I was 13/14 and didn't even know where he was but just before my mom died when I was 25, she tracked him down and reconnected us which was a lot for him to take in because I was a bit different than he remembered (lol) but we maintained a relationship until it was his time to go. While some of the memories weren't always pleasant, having some sort of connection to my past meant a lot.

When my kid gets back, I'm sure the first thing she'll do is apologize for not telling me and making me worry but I will play it cool. Knowing her as I do, I'm also pretty sure she will feel bad enough for her oversight (or obfuscation) without me ragging about it.

As far as my ex old man buying me a new battery, I would feel bad because he's already doing so much. He turned the house we used to live in when we were married into an auto shop/parts warehouse full of tools and equipment then pretty much walked away from it all about 15 years ago when he got remarried and moved in with his new wife.

When things went south for me a while back, he cleaned out one room and made one of the bathrooms functional and let me move in there rather than be homeless. He even spent thousands of dollars putting a new heat pump/AC unit on the roof and paid off the $1200 court judgment against me when I was evicted. I've been living there among the clutter and machinery rent free for three years in January and I actually like it here. As destroyed as it is inside as houses go, all together I've lived in this house for 15 years and that's longer than I've ever lived anywhere so it feels like home. If he volunteers to pay for the battery I won't say no but I'm for sure not asking for him to.

I topped off my in-line pistol capper with percussion caps a few hours ago. I think I should go out tomorrow and blast off all the full chambers in my black powder revolver tomorrow, just to terrify the neighborhood.

The chambers have been loaded for several months now, and it would be comforting to know that the humidity hasn't killed the powder in them.

Oh lordy! that ain't gonna work at all! You may be the most in-need person of "The Secret" ™ that i have ever run across! Appearing to be a helpless victim in female eyes will get you no where! That will never drag chicks to your door without first clubbing them like baby seals! And no one wants that!

it's best to get them to line up becuse they want to, without corecion, thinking it was their idea all along... and that is where "The Secret" ™ comes in.

I have absolutely no need for your  so-called secret. I know it already. Also, i never show desperation, i feel it but i do not show it to Ladies. But they sense it, from oceans away.

Fuck man, "Will get you nowhere" What the fuck do you know where i am and where i want to be at?

During the past year, i have been approached by 3 Ladies. Not much, i know, but 3. I never go anywhere but sometimes i go to parties of friends and shit. I outright reject them. Politely, of course. Because i feel an overwhelming need to protect Ladies from myself. I know it is very lame for a dude to be a feminist but i am a feminist anyway. I want equal salary for the same job and treating women as objects is one of the most repulsive things i know.

There are better men for those Ladies to interact with, than me.

So next time you assume something about me, do your homework better. Just an idea. SMFH.

@"Brotherman" You have been calling for the return of the shoutbox to interact with me again there.

So what is your agenda this time?

To be an opponent of free speech and cancel me, like your supportive minion @Rodinus? And via that, stand against everything Rogue nation stands for and attempt to put Guohua's memory to shame. Pussies. I never look down.

Nice try. But only a try. Seen it all before. Seen it all and more.

@"Finspiracy" - you're starting to wander into the territory of "personal attacks" again in your last couple of posts.

Can you please tone it down a wee bit?

.

Some good advice. I like the part about the super powers, and could not agree more about the "never, ever, bad mouth or throw the other parent under the bus".

I surely have done the appear weak thing wrong all my life.

The one thing all the men in my life will tell you about me, is that I never showed much weakness. I actually think that may have been one of things that attracted me to them. Maybe they were looking for that weak spot, obsessed with finding that hidden treasure, locked inside.

I have to laugh now. I just remembered that my friends used to call me a witch when I was little, because they never saw me cry.

Being the oldest of 10 siblings, and being expect to be their guardians, did not leave a lot of room for obvious weaknesses.

The biggest deal breaker I have had in my relationships is honesty. I can deal with almost any problems that rear up in a relationship, except for lying. If I can't trust you, I cannot have a relationship with you. Full stop.

Weird truth about me is that once I have determined a relationship has failed, all sexual attraction immediately disappears, and it cannot be resuscitated. We can remain good friends for life, but we will never be able to breathe life into a fire gone cold.

I know this is why I have never married, but out of all my relationships, only one ended up in enemy territory. I still consider all the others friends.

Very few regrets, so I guess this is they way it was supposed to be.

I was hoping this week was going to be better than last week, but it is not getting off to a good start.

Already I have had three phone calls that have my blood boiling. Not one of those calls had anything to do with me directly. Everyone was a call related to someone trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. This is always fear generated and no one ants to get left holding the bag.

I am big on truth and transparency, so I am the last person they really want to pull into this mess.

Truth is often averted because it usually comes with a heaping helping of pain, embarrassment, and possible lost. I believe in facing it head on. Get it over with and move on. Most people think if they ignore it or skirt it, they will make it ahead of the game. That plan never works.

I do NOT like this format! I also do NOT like the fact that I found out today I now have "Bingo Wings". I was spraying some cleaner on the walls of the bath/shower enclosure, shaking the can as I went so it didn't clog. I noticed an extremely odd sensation. Yes, it was my "Bingo Wings" flapping to high Heaven! I don't know where they came from. It happened like overnight- one day nothing, the next day flapping wings! This is a sad, sad day for Kdog's Castle.

I think I will get used to it with time. The bingo wings is the beginning, wait until you see your old relatives showing up in the  mirror.

The first time I saw my favorite Aunt looking back at me in the mirror, I almost had a heart attack. Since then I have seen a few other members of the family show up. As much as I miss them, I can't see that I am happy to see them.
