In spite of what you may have heard or seen discussed I have (do not think but actually have) the answer but would like to hear other people's thoughts before I disclose the one supreme truth that is irrefutable IMO.
What is a woman ?

I’ll take the clickbait but can you be more specific? Are you having some sort or problem figuring this out? Let me ask this question:
What is a man? If I asked the question what makes a man, I venture to say your answers might be somewhat different and probably dependent on criteria other just than having a penis and one’s gamete potential. Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

I think it's that appliance in the kitchen that makes sandwiches. I think it talks too, but I never pay any attention.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

What is a woman?
That is such a tricky double edged swordy question to ask because different answers from different people would insult some women, undeniably, without fail. The exact same thing would happen if you were to ask, "What is a man?". Some of the answers from various people would invariably insult some of us. So right now, I'd just like to know what Your answer is, as I won't be giving mine.

I figure many have been brainwashed into fear for a straight answer...it is simple. A woman has the XX chromosome and the male has one X and one Y chromosome ...... Are there genetic mess ups...yes ... as some deformities get to many Ys and others to many Xs..deformities meaning "Not Normal" for the species.
However no matter how many surgical procedures are preformed the XXs the XYs will always tell the truth in spite of someone saying something different. You can skip to the 52 second portion of the video or listen to the whole short video. There was a research project way back when (maybe the 80s?) trying to figure out what made some people gay. The findings were that during a certain trimester if the woman's body dumped a particular hormone due to stress the baby would be gay. Depending on how much of the hormone the fetus got the outcome could be all the different sexual preferences that are out of the so called closet today. Those were the findings as I remember them...so don't shoot me as I am but the messenger.

I don't think a lot of people have been brainwashed into a fear of a straight answer. I think it is more of a situation that a straight or simple answer is not what the person asking the question is looking when the question is asked. This simple question has been turned in a social weapon to create anger, hate, and division. It won't end here. Not as long as we continue to play the game. For every one person that read this post. There are 3 genders IMO ... male , female and tragic unfortunate freaks of nature and none of them have anything to do with having the balls to be a real man. Most males are immature boys regardless of their physical age. And what are little boys made of? Mud and snails and puppydogs tails. And what are little girls made of? Sugar and spice and all things nice. People aught to know the difference eh. Cheers for the thought provoking thread.

As it has been written: Woman: XX, Man: XY. I can lend a hand to anyone feeling more masculine or feminine soul wise, I understand that, but I won't call a biological man a woman. Or A biological woman a man. I won't do it. It's lying to myself and lying to the one that expects it. I'm on a platform where it's about finding partners for certain adult activities. There in my profile it says I am looking for women, still I get private mails from males in women dresses that then, after politely telling them "no, read my profile: women", call me a bigot and backwards, even insults sometimes. IDK what these people expect from me??? When I do not react at all I am called rude and unpolite. Transgenders, do your thing, be what you want for yourself. You have my respect just like any other human being for that but don't expect me to cater to a lie you crafted to make yourself feel better. You even get my symphaty for feeling stuck in the wrong body soul wise. But there it ends. None of those trans women will ever menstruate or be able to bear a child, their DNA will always try to undo what is being changed with hormone therapy. In exchange for that tolerance, I EXPECT the transgender community to be LOUDLY AGAINST anything done to kids under the age. When that day comes and the transgender community and it's supporters are keeping it away from the children, THEN I will think about calling a trans woman a woman and the other way. Earn it, earn my respect and trust you're not using the children for your movement to up the count and make it less a minority.

Thank you for your post. I too am big on earning respect. I don't think this has to be the thing, it has become. I see it as another block to actual conversation, by clogging it up with emotions and preventing one the ability to listen. I will admit growing up in the South, exposed me to opinions and attitudes that had little to do with tolerance. There was no short supply of bigotry, racism, and just plain rudeness and vitriol towards those that were labeled different. I had an Uncle that was homosexual. He did not hide and everyone knew it. I am sure there were plenty of nasty things said behind his back, but civility, subdued them from being said to his face. Unless there was a reason for a fist to cuffs altercation, racist epitaphs were few and far between. Not because there was an increased amount of love, but because we lived in a area that was so poor that we "had" to work together to get along. Civility, common courtesy, tolerance, and independent thinking has become taboo in our modern cancel culture. When you have a medium that has a large amount of the population ending up in the ER because they can't resist being a participant in the latest potentially deadly internet challenge, then we can't be surprised when large numbers are willing to believe up is down, and cows are fish. We don't have to believe everything that someone we like says, especially when we know it is wrong. For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not. Yet I still post.

I know how it feels to get shunned, this is where I draw the line on making fun of transgenders. But at the same time I also never tried to get support of who I am capable to love by making it out to be something normal. Since then I moved away from that town and started a new life. Without that label attached officially, I still heard very hurtful stuff about me, behind my back. Like running a business that males normally do and therefor I am probably lesbian. But these are just idiots talking over a beer at the bar.(09-25-2022, 02:58 PM)TDDA Wrote:(09-25-2022, 02:30 AM)727Sky Wrote: In spite of what you may have heard or seen discussed I have (do not think but actually have) the answer but would like to hear other people's thoughts before I disclose the one supreme truth that is irrefutable IMO. And I handle it the same with transgender movement. I expect them to behave in a decent way, not show off, not indoctrinate kids how this is normal. Speak up against childrens presence on festivals and demonstrations. And I don't see the majority of the transgender movement adhering to this. And there are perfectly fine normal heterosexual couples that drag their children to such events for vanity and feeling they support some minority, to make them feel good. It makes me almost allergic to the sentiment of that, because on the other hand, these groups and their supporters can get very vile and aggressive and pull the biggot card and what not. Rotten to the core, demanding love and peace and acceptance, tolerance but not giving it themselves. Wallowing in the victim role they mostly signed up by their own choice. And by that I mean the expectation of tolerance. This is why I also despise the whole LGBTQP+ stuff. I distance myself from them whenever I can. Sadly, it's topic every time I meet someone new that shares my sexuality or ability to feel deep love for the same gender too. It's often the same. These new contacts then start to talk about LGBTQ and when I tell them I do not want to hear about it, they get wide eyed and try to drag me into it. My reaction is always very distanced with the explanation that "I am myself and not some group, just because I am bisexual does not mean I am going to break a discussion from the fence about transgenders or fight for their rights. What rights even? They can dress up like they want in public and nobody is going to stop them. All that LGBTQ ever did for me was provide prejudice for other people so they can judge me and lump me into the same basket, I am fed up with it!!!". All these calls for tolerance but giving none. And I understand every employee that prefers a man or a woman over someone in between with an attitude who can't keep their sexual or private opinions away from the job. Sure, dress up in a woman dress and act like they are one, be snarky to customers and try use the business as a platform for their personal crusade. And when kicked out of the job, cry wolf and claim it's discrimination and intolerance and how they are the victim. I know one trans woman but I do not have a lot of contact with her. I even respect her pronoun as she is very feminine in soul and I respect her on a human basis but this is a lone exemption I will not grant every trans "woman". It's because I know her personal since school and decided to lend her the respect. But it's fading with every talk. Every time I do it's either about her struggles, her surgeries or some arbitrary stuff she thinks she can talk about with me because we both are women. But we are not. And even when she leads with something "Men are...", to get to a certain stereotype I know that she herself uses heavy stereotypes to make her look more female than she ever could be. And being upset about men that do not want to try it with her, don't get me started about that. It's almost as if she put all her hopes into the surgery and since it has been done, thinks she is 100% women and every guy that does not want to get intimate or marry her, is backwards and discriminating her. I got sick to my stomach when I heard what was done to make it happen. And I get angry when these people try to push it on little children, it's horrific and horrible, my disgust knows no boundaries when it's about that.
