To be clear Christianity verses Islam
#1
This comes from Johns Hophins University.
Alas in it's entirety it is quite long and frankly cumbersome for those liking a paragraph and some pictures, but it will clarify Judism, Christianity and Islam. It will show the divisions, the beliefs and likely the comming clash between all three in relation to our interpretation of

XXX*Revelations*XXX Edit  ( Armagedon) ...........in the strictest sense.

An essay on comparative eschatology among the three Abrahamic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—and how beliefs about the end times express themselves through foreign policy and conflict... I preview chapter three as the meat of the oratory, the important dirrection we are reading towards for answers. But the rest of the document including all the chapters is relevent and obligatory to present...... and enlightening.

I don't blame you if you choose to pass on invistigating this oratory, but bear in mind .... it is likely your future... Yes, no hyperbole

CHAPTER THREE Thy Kingdom Come Christianity and the End Times • Why does the United States consistently support the state of Israel, despite the diplomatic cost of doing so? • Why have American presidents—both liberals and conservatives—believed for over two hundred years that the United States is destined to bring freedom, prosperity, and democracy to the world? • Why do Western powers cultivate an optimistic vision of world peace and human rights, while some political leaders perceive a pervasive evil at work in the world? • While pursuing their optimistic world view, why do American governments—both liberals and conservatives—continue to invest so heavily in military capability, all in the name of peace?

Just a preview to the story, it is worth reading in it's entirety.

https://www.jhuapl.edu/Content/documents...Vision.pdf      Here you will find answers to the comming conflict and perhaps End Times. Some will not believe, and some will find this explaining the words they are not articulate enough to express. I am the Latter.

It has been postulated that islam was started by the RC church in order to exterminate the Jews wile keeping the hands of the RC church clean.
One interesting point in islam is that it never ask for people to change, "you can keep on killing and keep your culture but everything you do will now be for God and the will of God. That was a big thing when asking people to convert and also explanes why islam has never changed in its will to hate and kill.
Islam does seem to be a copy of the RC religion, but an evil copy, just the sort of copy one would make for a religion to be evil.

my understanding is that most scholars think that islam came from the pagan worship of a moon god.

it is a accepted fact that the roman catholic church started in 590ce and it is also accepted islam started in 610ce, a mere 20 yrs apart.
it is also known that rome was very tolerant of worship of many different gods. they even rolled in gods of conquered lands. they even allowed jews to practice their worship of God. it is true that they persecuted Christians to a extent, but that came to a end during Constantine reign.

it is hard to believe that the roman catholic church in a mere 20 yrs, was able to start and spread a religion to counter Judaism and Christianity.
i may be mistaken but the idea that roman catholic church started islam is a relatively new tale started by this man.

Rivera also made several allegations about Islam, which he did not offer proof for. This includes allegations that Muhammad was manipulated by the Catholic Church to create Islam and destroy the Jews and other groups of Christians, and that Muhammad's first wife Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, was actually a Catholic nun in an Arabian monastery, who was told by a bishop to marry Muhammad and create Islam. Rivera also alleged that the Vatican staged an apparition at Fátima (named after Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad) to cultivate favor with Muslims. He further says that it also staged the 1981 assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II using a Muslim as the marksman "to guilt-induce the Muslim world, bringing them still closer to the Catholic faith!"[4]

don't get me wrong many of the practices of the Catholic Church just seem wrong, as doses many other denominations. and islam is just plain wrong.
but to be able to do as i said above, it is hard to believe that the roman catholic church in a mere 20 yrs, was able to start and spread a religion to counter Judaism and other Christian denominations( for lack of a better word) of the time, let alone establish it own power over the world is just unbelievable to me.

Christianity, Judaism, and even Islam are too diverse within themselves to lump under a single catch-all heading for each. For example, I cannot figure out why people keep referring to Revelations as a playbook for "end times" - everything in it came to pass in the First Century AD. It's done, there is no more to fulfill.

I have also always been under the impression that Roman Catholicism began in 325 AD with the Council of Nicaea's confirmation of a "Trinity" heresy under Roman Emperor Constantine, making it official rather than heretical... but I reckon if one God is good, three gods must be better? Never mind the utter lack of Biblical support for such a doctrine - the RCC did an end run around that by adding "traditions" as authoritative right along side the scriptures. Now, if you want to change God's mind, all you have to do is start a new doctrine, and in a few years it will be "tradition" and therefore authoritative and unassailable in RCC terms.

Likewise, Judaism and Islam are fully fractured and factional. Just as "Christians" were killing each other off during the Inquisition and Reformation, Islam now has warring factions - if these, Christian and Muslim alike, were at all similar or worshipping the same God, why would they so energetically be trying to kill one another off at various points in their history?

Nope, I don't look to the Bible, the Torah, or the Qur'an for a roadmap to "end times" - none of them speak on the matter at any sort of useful length. I think the general idea is that one is supposed to be ready for "end time" at any given instant, for the end can - and will - come to any of us without thought and unexpectedly...

... like a thief in the night.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Hear, hear....we are the gods and the choice of how any of this plays out is now and always has been in OUR hands. Responsibility, Power and Destiny lie in the hands of those willing to yield them. If there's a trinity, those make up its composition.

While I personally may not subscribe to the notion that "we are the gods", at least it DOES have a smattering of Biblical support, which cannot be said for Trinitarianism.

Biblical support for the notion that "we are gods" may be found in Psalms 82:6 and John 10:34, for anyone interested in contesting it.

You are correct that destiny is and has always been in our hands, and comes to those willing to exercise the responsibility, initiative, and drive to reach it.

Ninurta, you are correct, as 'Revelations' is so often misused... Armagedon being the more proper term.
