I do really like to watch old American TV commercials.

Ok this next one is just cool.
You Americans had stuff in the 50's and 60's that the average Chinese person didn't know existed.
We didn't have a communal shared black and white TV until 1995.
That TV was shared with 6 families in our common area of our government issued apartment.

Our propaganda was Madison Avenue, Disney, and Hollywood.  The entertainment "industry" in the USA has become a massive exercise in disinformation that has disconnected many Americans from reality.

But yes, some of the old advertisements were amusing.

Here in Quebec, we still sometimes talk about some very old commercials from the sixties and seventies - and we still remember the jingles that went with them lol

After all this, and after all this time, and yet many still trust the media.

My mother told me that when I was one year old I would stand and dance to this old Three Little Pigs commercial every time it came on. I sort of remember that.
