Walk-ins
#21
Dont know if it helps but I have seen 3 cases of multi personalty ( old name). None of the crap you see on TV no changing of voice. But a change of personality, a slight change of body language but would not be noticed if not looked for. It was so strange to see a person you know who is kind and loving turn into a psychological vicious person who know all the words to hurt that cut to the bone. If I did not know better I would of said possession by something evil. Perhaps it is, but I dont think so

Thank you, first time I heard about that syndrome.

It it makes me think that maybe, it is the one that thinks their mate has been swapped, when maybe it was them.

With the patient, and his wife, that I spoke of, he felt that she was as much a stranger as she did. It wasn't just some vague memory lost, they both felt it, like something they could not name, was just not right.

If I remember there are other names for it but yes I think its where they think there loved one has been replaced. It must be so horrible to have that happen. The mind is such a wonderful and strange place but sometimes very frighting

The person would have to agree to give their body and remain in the background until the body dies. Maybe some people just don't want to come back; life is hard.

Wow! That is exactly what my Mother always told us. She didn't say it was golden, but she said when we sleep, sometimes our spirit leaves our body and can go many places. She said  it can always find its way back, because it stays attached to us an a small thread. She says sometimes we will get yanked back to our bodies, and when we do, it can feel like you have been sucker punched. I have had that sudden awakening, and having that sucker punched feeling.

Oops! I called the wrong color. It's called the silver cord.

Quote:The silver cord in metaphysical studies and literature, also known as the sutratma or life thread of the antahkarana, refers to a life-giving linkage from the higher self (atma) down to the physical body. It also refers to an extended synthesis of this thread and a second (the consciousness thread, passing from the soul to the physical body) that connects the physical body to the etheric body, onwards to the astral body and finally to the mental body.[1][unreliable source?]

In other research, it is described as a strong, silver-colored, elastic cord which joins a person's physical body to its astral body (a manifestation of the physical body that is less distinct).[2][unreliable source?]

Alfred Ballabene, an astral projector, reported observing that during his out-of-body experiences "glue-like strings" appear as the astral body tries to separate itself from the physical body. As the astral body moves further away from the tangible body, some of the strings break apart and clump into a specific and smaller region - preferably the head, breast, back, stomach, and the abdomen area - thus forming the silver cord.[3]

Our minds are amazing. When we think about all the input it has to deal with on so many levels, with so many variables, it is a true miracle what it does.

I have Cone-rod dystrophy which has gotten a little worse with age.

It is interesting in that I have trouble identifying things when they have been replaced from their normal position, or things that I have not seen before, and it is in an unlikely location.

For instance, if someone comes along and replaces a vase of flowers that have been sitting on the mantle for a time, with something else, like a book, when I first see it, I will not be able to tell you what it is. I can tell you it is something different and that it is not the vase, but my mind has to run through a thousand possibilities of stored data to come up with its closest match.

It is the weirdest feeling. You know that it is something familiar, but not known, at the moment. It is not a pleasant feeling by a long shot, and you have to trust your brain that it got it right. It almost always does. It is just a regular reminder just how much we depend on the autonomous functions of our brains.

As for waking up to a foreign world or what seems to be a replaced loved one, I agree that would have to be traumatic. I have had my Mandela moments. They are unnerving enough.

Yes! Yes! That is what she said. It was a "silver" thread!

I don't think it makes a difference, but her Mother was a reservation born and raised Native American. My grandmother died when I was three, so I didn't learn much from her. My Mother says she will never get over losing her mother as soon as she did, and she regrets that she didn't pay more attention or listen to all the things she tried to teach her.

That must be so weird, I dont think I could handle that. Im a very high % face blind so over the long years I have learnt to read body language very very well, some times too well

It is blessing what we can acclimate to. My vision is deteriorating fast, but my brain makes adaptations even faster. It has made this old broad much more agile, because I have to adjust quickly when something just seems to pop up out of nowhere.

It doesn't stop me from walking into glass doors though.

Quote:The events as remembered by Paul Dienach that will transpire on Earth over the next 2,000 years. Bear in mind, this is the illusory sense of “time” we’re talking about… so don’t write the dates in your calendar in indelible ink. 2000-2300

Humanity begins to solve overpopulation, ecological destruction, greenhouse gases, climate change, famine, tyranny, and regional conflict. Discoveries are made in the interactions of electromagnetic energies, gravity, spiritual energy (etherodynamics), and antigravity, resulting in a Nobel Prize in the physical sciences.
Most of Earth’s gravitational energies are attributed to solar radiation. Science can [url=https://macyafterlife.com/2012/04/07/faces-in-the-mist-3-amazement-in-the-basement/]photograph spiritual energies
, and more and more people can see the spirits moving in and out of our world by switching on their inner “etheric vision,” as psychic channels do today.
Economic systems become more humane, wise, and based on good will. People are freed from the slavery of financial survival, affording them more time for inner work and spiritual development. The monetary system goes extinct, child mortality becomes a rarity, and fossil fuels are replaced by sustainable energies.
Our carnivorous inclinations fade away as we become vegetarians.
Mars is colonized in 2204 by 20 million people, but they are all destroyed in 2265 by a massive natural disaster, and the goal of future Mars colonization is then abandoned.

Well, I went to ATS and waded through hundreds of pages (not posts... pages!) but never found anything from Zeno.

Zeno would have to have posted sometime around 2016 or just prior. We started this board in 2016, I think.

Sorry.

I'm going to summon @"Sol" again and see if he still has the audio file from that interview.

Calling @"Sol" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can you hear me @"Sol" ????

Your current YOU goes on hiatus. This may happen due to undo stress, psychological break, or catastrophic illness. Sol might still have our prerecorded interview with "it" somewhere. It claimed to be a demon, but must have been a very weak one, because it was the nicest demon I've ever come across.

Now, before you judge and say it was just someone with mental illness, you'd have to hear her/his story. The events surrounding her tale were quite convincing.

I think she/he even became a member here after that, but I haven't seen her post anything in years.

The walk-in I talked with didn't admit to being a demon but when I asked her, "Does it scare you when I say the name of Jesus." She laughed. She said it didn't scare her, but what did scare her is that it sounds like I was am going to make things just a little more difficult for her.
I asked that question because she was dress in a habit like the old nuns used to wear, and she had made references to extraterrestrial life, or should I say, life outside of our Earthly boundaries. So I didn't get enough information to decidedly choose demon or extraterrestrial, or if even both.
Those people made a pact before they were born to share that body with an extraterrestrial specie they have for generations been colluding with. Some confuse demons with little green men. There is a difference; demonic possession involves total oppression and domination of a weak human spirit in order to enslave it.

It is late now and I have another 16 hour day tomorrow, depending if I get desk or call out duty, I will try to share with you a weird, truly weird thing that happened to me back in 1988 that kind of sort of fits the description of your post. It was weirder than the out of body experience I had in broad daylight, and while having lunch with a group friends. Might get around to sharing that as well.   :smallwink:

As I promised, this is what happened. It is weird and I don't have any real explanations for it, but here it is.

I was in the military at the time. I had been out to a club and I remember having a good time. On the way home I stopped at an all night dinner and had breakfast. Two guys came in behind me that I remember from the club, We exchanged greetings and I forgot about them, until I saw them again when I left the dinner sitting in their car.  I waved, they waved back.

I got in my car and drove home. I noticed them drive out behind me. My instincts told me something wasn't right. Just in case, I drove in a direction away from my home, they followed. Again, not sure, so I drove away from the residential areas towards the parkway, testing to see if they would continue to follow, they did.

Now I was frightened. I wasn't sure of what to do. I thought, I will just drive to the police station. I could see them in the car behind me and I could see they were laughing and slapping on the dashboard. Then something changed. I stopped being afraid. In fact, I became calm and serene. What I did next made no sense. I stopped my car. I was in a fairly isolated area along the exit ramp on the parkway. It was around two o'clock in the morning and there was no traffic. When I stopped my car, they stopped behind me and they opened their doors. I could see them laughing it up, slapping it up, screaming in laughter.,

When I opened my car door and started walking towards them, the one on the passenger side got out of the car and started walking toward me. I walked toward the driver's side, and he turned on the high beams. It was when he flooded me in the bright beam of light that he started yelling to his friend to get back into the car. Both doors were still open. The driver closed his door and inched up to the passenger screaming, "Get In! Get In!" The passenger seemed puzzled, then frighten, he jumped into the car and they took off.

I stood there for a short while watching them leave, then calmly walked back to my car and drove home. I was so peaceful, that I didn't even think about those guys again, until later. After I got home, I walked into the vanity area and undressed. I turned around to the sink to wash my face and I stopped dead still. I was looking at a reflection of myself but it didn't look like me. Well yes, it did look like me, but not me. The eyes were way too big, but the scary part was that my face looked like it was made of stone. What I was seeing and what I was feeling didn't match. I washed my face trying to make it change back but it didn't. I started crying, and all I saw was tears falling from a blank stone face. It sounds crazy but the image was terrifying. I cried so hard I couldn't stand any longer and sat on the closet floor crying like a baby.

I can't tell you how long I was on that floor crying, but I know that I felt the change when it came again, and when I looked in the mirror, I was back to myself. It took me a long time before I could share what happened to anyone. My mother said that I had inherited her mother's temper and that I had just become so angry that I disassociated. I want to believe that, but I remember every little thing that happened in precise detail, I had not dissociated at all.

So maybe it was something else. Maybe it was something close to what you posted,

Quote:At any time; one of them (that one best suited) may take the place of your present incarnation (in formation) temporarily. Your current YOU goes on hiatus.

It has never happened again, but i have come a long way in learning to control my temper. Who knows. Maybe it was my temper that peaked over the top or maybe it was another me that was better equipped to handle the situation. One or the other, they got the job done.
