That's a Good Question, Hasn't Juno been there about 5 or 6 days in Orbit?
Could it be that they seen something that NASA needs to Airbrush Out?

It's possible but if you're using the vid you posted for thread evidence, I don't buy it G. Section 51 has Secure Team 10 level UFO hoax vids on it's youtube

Very good point, even without Watching the video I'm curious now. When Pluto was still days away the news was flooded with "almost there" pictures. Same with Rosetta.
I'll do some digging but as far as MSM goes I only saw the Aurora pictures (which were actually from hubble I think) and the "Juno made it!" Story.
Maybe because of all of the different instruments and tests the picture taking is set for later?? I'll let you know what I find out.

Apparently when they said they were entering orbit early last week it wasn't the perfect orbit I had envisioned.
Quote:The next time Juno's orbit carries it close by the planet will be on Aug. 27. The flyby is expected to provide some preliminary science data.
"We had to turn all our beautiful instruments off to help ensure a successful Jupiter orbit insertion on July 4," said Scott Bolton, Juno principal investigator from the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. "But next time around we will have our eyes and ears open. You can expect us to release some information about our findings around September 1."
It won't even be close to the planet again for over a month
Juno Statement
Here's another juicy tidbit though:
Quote:In total, Juno will loop around Jupiter 37 times before ending its life with an intentional death dive into Jupiter's thick atmosphere in February 2018. This final maneuver is designed to ensure that Earth microbes don't contaminate the Jovian moon Europa, which scientists think might be capable of supporting life.

@"DuckforcoveR"
Hmmm...
They had to turn their cameras off, or they had to come up with an excuse to not show us what they found?
My conspiracy mind smells something fishy about this.

I was up in Juno back in seventy four. I didn't take any pictures when I was there. Did see a lot of fairies there and we even took the Ferry down to prince Ruport.
I bet you guys would love if I got Alzheimers and didn't tell all sorts of off topic stories whenever I saw a word that triggers a memories. They aren't even classified as off topic, in this case pictures from Juno is relevant. Did go into a strip bar in Juno.

From The Website.

Why? What's keeping them from taking pictures of what is There Now?

This, This is all we have from Juno and it's been in Jupiter's Orbit for a Week,,,,,
Quote:This July 10, 2016, image released by NASA was taken by the Juno spacecraft, five days after it arrived at Jupiter.
