Palace Intrigue... Outside.
#1
I know it's only light-fluff and from the world of bullsh*t, but it's always something that caught my eye.

There's always been this rumour... this look that many in the British public give each other that Prince Harry looks
disconcertingly like one of his late-mother's trysts, namely James Hewitt.
Now with Harry's new wife -Meghan Markel, announcing that she is pregnant, the gossip has begun once again.

What do you think...? Is the big-eared garden lover who likes older women Harry's dad or is it the ex-Cavalry officer
and polo-player that Princess Diana had a brief affair with, the Pa of the ginger-haired sixth in the line of succession
to the British throne?

Brazen Twitter users have jokingly congratulated James Hewitt on becoming a grandad after the Duke and
Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting a child -following old rumours he could be Harry's dad.

'Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, today announced they were expecting a child in Spring 2019.
The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess
of Cambridge are said to be "delighted" for the couple.

But Twitter users have jokingly congratulated James Hewitt on becoming a grandad.
Cavalry officer Hewitt, 60, had an affair with Harry’s mum Princess Diana during her doomed marriage to
Charles.

For years he has been forced to deny rumours he is Prince Harry’s dad as royal fans point out alleged similarities
between the duo. Responding to the baby news, one Twitter user wrote: “James Hewitt becoming a granddad,
congrats!”

Another quipped: “Congratulations James Hewitt on the news that he’ll becoming a grandfather #RoyalBaby”
A third joked: “Hope baby looks nothing like James Hewitt or the rumours will start again#RoyalBaby.”

And a fourth added: “There's not enough congratulations going about for James Hewitt on the announcement
he'll be a grandfather.”
More than 50 people had tweeted congratulations at the time of publication.

Hewitt romanced Diana back in 1986 –which was two years after Prince Harry, 33, was born.
The affair took place at the same time Charles is thought to have been cheating with his current wife Camila
Parker-Bowles.

Despite the timelines not matching up, Harry has been dogged by rumours that Hewitt is his dad.
Social media users were still peddling the conspiracy theory hours before the prince married Meghan in May.

During a television appearance in 2017, Hewitt was asked directly if he was Harry’s dad, to which he replied:
"No, I'm not”. And when asked why the rumours continue to persist, he said: “It sells papers.
“It’s worse for [Harry] probably, the poor chap.”

He added he didn’t regret falling in love with Diana, but said: "I regret some of the things that have been caused
by that”.

Announcing Harry and Meghan’s baby news, Kensington Palace said today: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke
and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the
Spring of 2019.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since
their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
Meghan is said to be in "good health" and they have had a successful 12 week scan.
Fans are speculating the baby is due in late April, possibly around St George's Day.
The baby will be seventh in line to the throne, and the Queen's eighth great-grandchild.

He or she will also be a first cousin of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
But the baby will not be a prince or a princess unless the Queen steps in to issue a Letters Patent ahead of the birth.
Meghan and Harry have just arrived in Sydney ahead of a 16-day tour which will take in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji
and Tonga. They were pictured holding hands as they got off their flight...'

Although another chunk of royal interest may erupt on the internet soon when -during a discussion on
a British morning TV-show about the pregnancy announcement, Piers Morgan spoke to a confidante
and ex-butler to Princess Diana along with Lady Colin Campbell.

Lady Campbell, a Jamaican-born British writer, socialite, and television and radio personality, stated
something that wasn't very politically-correct!

Quote:"...Paul Burrell, who has repeatedly hit the headlines over the years for his claims about the Princess
of Wales, said he thinks Meghan is a 'breath of fresh air'. Presenter Piers asked what he thought of the
'first ever black royal baby', to which he replied: 'It would be a wonderful thing. I think it would unite the
country.
'British people are all colours.'

But Lady Colin Campbell accused the pair of racism, saying: 'I'm sorry but having been brought up in Jamaica,
which is a multi-racial society, the baby is not going to be black. It’s going to have black blood, but it's also
going to have white blood.

'You can't be seven eighths white and be called black.
'I think that's racism of the highest order. Its rather like Hitler’s definition of a Jew.
If you're an eighth Jewish you're completely Jewish and therefore into the ovens.

'If you're partly black you’re partly black. You're not fully black.'..."
