Well ... blow me down!!  I haven't looked for about 5 years, but I just did.  I see you can get it for as little as $2.60 a round.
'Cause if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to Mother in a cardboard box
You better run!

My best friend is my Barrett 50 cal. desert edition and my husband the same model.

Twins?!!  What kind of glass?  My leggiest rifle is a 110-BA in .338LM.  I mounted an IOR Valdata 4-28, and while that's enough for me, a 50 can easily hit 30% further out ... and with authority!!

What's that cost to operate (if you don't mind me asking).  11 dollars a shot?  Or more?

About $3.50 a round or $185. for a box of 50 rounds, my husband said. But we save our brass and my girlfriend husband has a machine to make us more rounds, we have approximately 1500 right now with 580 brass to be refurbished. My husband likes the 660 grain reloads.

Each Barrett 82A1 50 BMG with the 29" Fluted Barrel cost about $4000. with my husbands FLO discount.
We are saving up right now for two, Colt M4 Commando Full Auto with the 11.5 inch barrel.
They are about $1,100. each, but worth it, they will come with two each 30 round magazines for 5.56 ball.

Yes you can, but the quality of the brass and primer my husband worries about, so my childhood girlfriend (Yujie) from China husband (Larry) in VA. reloads for us.

Me too. Since the war is already upon us (I want no bullshit about "protests" - I know a war when I see one!) I've been busy up-arming and dusting off all of my old kit and making sure it's still in working order.

I've also been busy producing tactical maps with ambush points, choke points, and radio relay sites.

Bring it on, Lefties - we're ready whenever you are, and we've got years of experience blowing shit up that you haven't yet had time to accumulate.

And we're cranky.

If I ever come back to the states to help defend the homeland (I would rather watch from afar to be honest) Tell Rick to save enough to arm me up !! I sold everything but my trusty 9mm.... I used to be pretty good out to 325 yards with my stuff so hopefully I would be an asset. I would rather fly and push a button from a nice cozy cockpit to watch the enemy disappear in a cloud of fire and death but ya have to work with what you have at the moment, No ?

Never fear - The Cause always needs air support.. but we're on a budget, so it might involve just dropping grenades out the window of a Cessna...

This was my last aircraft I owned..

The gas turbine was removed and I used an IO-360 Continental rated at 210H.P. but after redoing the engine it would produce 235 H.P. static .....I did almost three years of local airshows in that bird and with the 210 the bird actually looked better . I typically cruised at 190 MPH ... The red line on a regular Swift was 189 MPH but the SwiftFIRE had no problem when doing airshows at 250 Mph. I had owned three other Swifts before the SwiftFire and they the Swifts will always have a soft place in my heart.. I can fly a Cessna but golly Gee I hate to tell anyone I arrived in one...unless it is a

OK kinda hard to chunk grenades' out of that Citation but at least you look good !

So whether helicopter or fixed wing if I can get it started I can fly it; or die trying hahahaha Priority though is we gotta look cool which kinda leaves a Cessna bug smasher out of the acquisition IMO !!

Or we could all sit back and wait until the next Top Gun Movie comes out from behind the safety of our popcorn !!

I actually got the idea from Nicaragua. During the Sandinista war against Somoza, around 1977 and 1978, that's how they delivered aerial care packages to Sandinista camps. Some of the mercs on the Somoza side would hire out a Cessna on their day off and fly around delivering grenades for guerrillas special delivery out the window of the plane - minus the grenade pins, of course. There was an extra charge for pins, and they were sent separately. See, Somoza didn't really have a viable air force, so they made do.

BUT - and this is the important question - do you know how to hot-wire a Lear Jet? It would be pretty cool to run bombing runs with a Lear, wouldn't it? Just remove the hatch and chuck the goodies right out the doorway...

IIRC, that was the earliest form of aerial bombing in the First World War.  That tech moved fast.

This is a very old thread of mine posted before Daitengu went back to the mountains .. Have not heard from him for almost two years now. We will see if he answers the email sent to him...He is so old he may be dead by now...or... maybe in the arms of a nice warm woman ?? Either way I wish him well. If I remember correctly he spent 4 years in S.E. Asia and worked with the Mountain Yards .. To say he has a bitter taste about anything uncle scammy does is a slight understatement.. But I can see why ... Luckily I burred my bitterness long long ago.

All the Lear's I ever flew had a forward entry air stairs for boarding......  So that means we would be chucking stuff out in front of the wings, engines, and tail surfaces...Probably not a good Idea especially at the speed of heat !

I Love America, I could never have own these in China.

You have TWO Barretts?!  That's about 15 grand and 60 pounds of gun lol.  I shouldered an 82A1 at a gun shop once, couldn't believe the weight.  The muzzle break was about as big as my face.  Beautiful weapons.
