MTM's longtime rep, Mara Buxbaum, issued a statement to TMZ saying, "Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine."

I always enjoyed watching her when I was growing up.   The world just lost a good one.    

This is sorta off topic, but I was watching a video of those people who remote view into the following month to see and report what will happen, and one man said there would be a death of a famous woman this month.  Hmm...

Many many years ago when I was a young man I wanted a wife like the character she portrayed in the Dick van Dyke show.
Of course I did realise that she was probably nothing like that in real life as she was only a TV actor but I did dream.
