There is a particular pair of cutoff jeans shorts from my high school days that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I still recall it like it was yesterday all these years later. They started life as a pair of hip-hugger jeans, and the young lady had cut them so short that only the seam remained at the crotch. They really weren't much more than a mere belt.
