Wonderful inner peace
#1
Heart
Hi all!  Hope you're all doing well. Such a warm welcoming place here  minusculebiggrin

And I've felt so peaceful lately. Maybe because my son is with me again, who knows.
But I've barely thought about all the evil in the world (WEF mainly) , and it's been great!

Maybe because I'm older(reached a milestone: 50 recently) . Much less time ahead than behind me , that's for sure.
I'm sure there are other ways to reach this , through meditation etc.

Letting go/acceptance perhaps? I can't chance any of what might happen, only can try to spread the word and be non-compliant.

Getting millions of hugs from my son I'm sure helps too  tinyinbiglove

The half-century mark.  Something magic happens there. Not gonna spoil it for ya, but you'll feel it in your bones.

I hope you can keep your son there with you as long as it's favorable for you both.  And I congratulate you on finding peace ... even if only for a time.

I think it is pretty much a done deal.

I don't think they care about us old folk. We have one foot in the grave, and our time is short. They have good control of the youth and the young adults. They will continue to master that control as they position them exactly where they want them.

Us old folk are not worth their time, their energy, or their money. The majority of the young folk think of us as greedy, stupid, arrogant, delusional, elderly assholes.

They don't see working and sleeping their lives away as a future they want for themselves. As several of them have told me. They also believe that since they did not ask to be born, that is the responsibility of their parents to provide for them for the rest of their lives. Much like Hitler. they have done a stellar job on the children, and we are useless, unless we are giving them what the what, when they want it.

There are a handful of children that have not fallen victim to this insanity and control. But are there enough of them, to pull our asses out of the fire, and to restore our country?

I am not feeling hopeful.

I’m so glad that you’ve been able to find so much peace. I’m sure having your son there helps so much. I know I can be in the worst mood then I’ll go visit my daughter. I never tell her if I’m in a bad mood or not, she doesn’t need to worry about that stuff, but I don’t need to because it all melts away as soon as I see her.

I think there are.  What they need is a leader 'they' can get behind and move the country forward like the Greatest Generation did.

I've had some good long discussions with my son-in-law that give me a lot of hope. I trust him enough that I taught him to shoot and gave him his first pistola.

That is part of the problem. The majority of our young is looking for someone to tell them what to do. A large number of them cannot and do not want to drive. The majority of them has never done a chore in the their entire lives. They live in a virtual world, created, operated, and controlled by the system that will keep them enslaved.

They have a large number of people in different financial groups believing different things, and keeping them in conflict. There are already a ton of leaders/social influencers that are leading them astray.

This is the new modern fashion they are pushing on our youth. They are telling them they don't have to listen to their parents. That it is cool to wear your pants hanging off your ass, even if you are a female. You are not cool if you are not socializing on hook up apps, eating tide pods, and doing whatever stupid ass TikTok challenge that comes down the pike.

Like I said. There are some youth that are too smart to play the game. I am just not sure their numbers are great enough.

I see this insanity all the way out in the country. I see in the homes of friends and family. I deal with it weekly on the job. And trust me when I tell you, the majority of our youth are not prepared for what is coming. It is a hell of a lot worse than most people "want" to believe.

You can't warn the youth because they won't listen. You can't warn the parents because they are in absolute denial, and have more excuses than words in the English language.

Oddly enough, that was the prevalent view the young had toward the old in my wicked and mis-spent youth, especially among urban and suburban youth, Funny how we all turned into those greedy, stupid, arrogant, delusional elderly assholes that we were so contemptuous of...

Some ancient Greek philosopher observed the same thing over 2000 years ago.

So now my goal in life is to live long enough to watch today's youth turn into greedy, stupid, arrogant, delusional elderly assholes that they so fear now.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Do you recall "hot pants".. "hip-huggers" and "daisy dukes"? The more things change, the more they stay the same... I recall my ma, and grandma making the same observation on then-current trends that you make here.

I see it out here in the boonies, too. Just today, I saw a black guy (something of a remarkable sighting in itself out here - like a sighting of a rare bird or Bigfoot) walking beside the road when I went out to the Big City with the Bright Lights for my grocery run. More than just a black guy, he did not appear to be a local - he was all "gangsta"-ed up. White t-shirt with black print 3 sizes too big, cap hanging sideways and still tagged, gray jams, shoes without strings, etc. Just as i got up beside him, he reached across his body with his right hand and drew a pistol from his left-side waistband, right there in front of God and everybody. Good way to get yourself perforated out here, but he seemed oblivious - just another indicator that he was an import, rather than domestic. Who the hell checks their "gat' at the side of a busy highway? Only logical reason to draw it would be to shoot something.

I just kept going, and decided that if I heard any loud noises behind me, I'd just pull a bootlegger and flatten his ass, then pull another one and continue on my way.

You are correct that the majority of today's youth is entirely unprepared for what is coming. But then I refer to your comment that "There are some youth that are too smart to play the game." then I think of the following quote:

Quote:Hard times make hard men.

Hard men make soft times.

Soft times make soft men.

Soft men make hard times.

Cycle repeats.

... and I know it's all gonna turn out ok. We may just be in for a culling. Nature has a way of weeding out the weak links, even when humans try to stymie nature. Another friend of mine, long dead now, used to say "In the end, the Wild will win", and that is as true now as it was all those decades ago.

So, it may not really take that many. There are those out there, like Snarl's son in law, and my son, who just ain't gonna play the game by someone else's rules, no matter what outlets they try to release those rules on. They were raised differently, and will act accordingly when the chips are in.

During the Revolution, only 3% were hard core, and they changed the world, even in the face of British opposition and masses of Tory neighbors drinking the monarchical kool-aid.

So it doesn't take many, it just takes dedication of the few. In the end, the Wild will win.

You'd probably adopt my son if you met him.  LOL

My son-in-law is pretty damned liberal ... so we have some lively discussions about things. I know him as an idealist and he knows me as a realist. He's coming around pretty fast.

From butt checks to labia and pubes. Yep. That is exactly what my grandmother said at the time.

One more time she was right. And she was no prophetess. Just an old lady that had been around long enough to figure it all out.

See? He's becoming that stodgy old curmudgeon that all his peers warned him about, right before your very eyes!

It happens to almost everyone as they get older and gain more experience of the world. They realize their ideals are unworkable, they become disillusioned and turn into practical realists.

Plus, you are obviously a bad influence on the poor boy.

Keep up the good work!

There is a particular pair of cutoff jeans shorts from my high school days that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I still recall it like it was yesterday all these years later. They started life as a pair of hip-hugger jeans, and the young lady had cut them so short that only the seam remained at the crotch. They really weren't much more than a mere belt.

I had a glimpse of Paradise lo, those many years ago, and now have to contend with Paradise Lost...

Burkas do not work as they are advertised to in "the west". Every Muslim man knows exactly what every Muslim woman is packing beneath that Burka, They might as well be going entirely naked - it is a sham of false modesty.

You, too, can know exactly what is hidden beneath the Burka if you spend enough time around them. It's just a matter of observing the drape of the cloth, and watching for moving body masses beneath it.

Works every time!

I've had my 30 year old daughter move in with me to help her out with expenses. She has been on her own for the most part for the past 10 years. It's been interesting listening to what she says.

She voted for Biden and regrets her vote for one. She is in graduate school and is surrounded by liberal ideas yet she still remains fairly pragmatic. She recognizes the progressive idiocy for what it is.

It's somewhat encouraging to think not all the younger generations are drinking the Kool aid. There is a contingent who have absolutely no faith in government. However some of those have ideas to fix it which would only create more of the same bullshit. They're young and still hold ideals which in due time will die on the vine as life's realities catch up with them.

I'm trying to be optimistic which for a pragmatist such as myself can be quite difficult at times. Especially these days.
ALL OUR HEROES ARE WHORES

EXTERMINATE THE BRUTES

ACTION ALWAYS OUTWEIGHS WORDS

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY IS NECESSARY
