there is only one indisputable fact to this entire mess.

Russia has invaded Ukraine.

The MSM and all politicians have twisted the narrative and has used it to elicit fear in everyone.

They can't scare us with Covid now, so they scare is with food shortages, inflation, nuclear war, use of chemical and biological weapons.

Oceania always has to be fighting Eurasia.

The powers that be have found that they can willfully abuse and negate freedoms if the population is afraid.  (See Karen and mask usage)

If you aren't afraid, if you focus on rights, individual freedoms, then you are the one being unpatriotic and un-American.

You've hit the nail on the head - that is exactly HOW we "will see it coming to America", as her friend observed.

Oh, and I think it was Ambrose "Bitter" Bierce who said "Patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels", so there is that to consider, too. I don't much care if they call me "unpatriotic". I consider the intellect of the source, and make allowances for that, so it doesn't bother me.

I once made the bold claim that Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia because that's how I remembered it, but was immediately corrected, complete with historical sources to back up the correction. Clearly I was just remembering wrong. There for just a minute I could've swore I saw 5 lights...
