I've looked into some of these topics that Freija brought up in other forums, it's a complex issue and worthy of not only it's own thread, but I was actually serious about writing a book about this.
I had considered this thread to be about a specific incident and although the topic is involved, it shouldn't get hijacked for a personal crusade and plastered with huge posts filled with text.
To me, this is about the safety and integrity of "Drag Queen Story Hour" and how this incident illustrates the gravest concerns of straight parents being verified. IMO, this is a covered up, under reported story related to a nefarious agenda of the progressive liberals. If this story hour program were strictly about the children, there would be no emphasis on cross dressing or gender choices. In fact, I could handle a conservatively dressed drag queen that was dressed as a woman for story hour, but not some gay pride parade refugee that looks like a demonic peacock.
