They need all the fear porn they can get so people will run to get the vaccine. Gates and the "elite" have an agenda:
Depopulation.
I've heard medical scientists say that the vaccine will sterilize women up to 3 generations. (Will future humans be developed in test tubes? I'm sure Gates would love that!)
The virus didn't kill as many as they hoped, so now they have another route to take and the pharmaceutical companies make money too. A double win for them.
