Impeachment Hearings Begin...
#61
All over the world the left/socialist are making there move to take power. The people of the UK have taken the first step to start fighting back, we can only hope that the same line is taken in the USA and the rest of Europe.
I believe Sweden has passed the point of no return, there will be war, Finland is getting close to it also Norway, Denmark is fighting back hard also it seems France is very close to war.
What many people dont know that in the lead up to WW2 in Germany the left/ socialists tried to take power using violence, and this was one of the main facts that the German people turned to Hitler. The left/socialists are trying it again this time using destructive  cultures ( destroy the local cultures and people have no roots and are easy to control )to do there dirty work and let them take power.
People need to understand that the main doctrine of the left/socialist is that power and control can only be gained by civil war and the destruction of peoples culture, they are pushing Europe and the USA to civil war, and they wont stop till there is war

@BIAD said, "Well, they went and did it. I assume Nancy Pelosi will be hoping that she's finally shut up the far-left of her party."

No, they won't shut up until 2025, or maybe 2021 if they get voted out of office.
Graham has already said he would not be calling witnesses, but he would acquit the President as soon as it hits the Senate floor.
Nancy didn't like this. She wants to call certain witnesses, but what she seems to forget is that she's not in control in the Senate.
Some think she will not send the charges on to the Senate, so that way President Trump will not go down in history as being acquitted for his "crimes".

The Demos won't stop screaming until their last screeches are heard going down the swamp drain.

Thanks for standing watch with us for a little while on this emotional night. We are with you and POTUS. Please pass that on to him.

Friend/Patriot - hold your head up high.
POTUS was not harmed in any way today other than on paper (history books).
Sometimes you must sacrifice yourself for the greater good.
"I will gladly take all those slings and arrows for you." - POTUS
But, even that, can be undone.
The enormity of what is coming will SHOCK THE WORLD.

A very good speech by McConnell about the duties of the Senate to ensure our Constitutional laws are followed.

Oh he's goading her alright!

Quote:Pelosi 'afraid' to send impeachment articles to Senate.

'WASHINGTON – A day after voting along mostly party lines to impeach President Donald Trump for
abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, lawmakers are set to return to the Capitol as House
Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced some uncertainty to the future timeline of the impeachment process.

Pelosi has been noncommittal about when she'll send the articles of impeachment to the Senate for a
trial, during which senators will vote on whether to convict Trump and remove him from office.

On Thursday, lawmakers will also deliberate and likely pass a major bipartisan trade agreement to
replace the North American Free Trade Agreement – the United States Mexico-Canada Agreement.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wouldn’t say when the articles of impeachment would be sent to the
Senate for a trial that will determine whether Trump will be removed from office.

Pelosi appeared to give herself room to delay sending over the articles. She explained she wanted to
see the process in the Senate before deciding who would serve as House managers, the lawmakers
tasked with prosecuting the case in the Senate, and how many to send over.

On Wednesday, Pelosi appeared to hint that articles could be held to ensure Senate Majority Leader
Mitch McConnell establishes fair procedures for a trial. "I’m not prepared to put the managers in that
bill because we don’t know the arena we are in," Pelosi told reporters at a weekly news conference.
“Frankly, I don’t care what the Republicans say.”

She added that the House wants a fair process and says she saw some remarks offered by McConnell
earlier on the Senate floor. “It reminded me that our founders, when they wrote the Constitution, they
suspected there could be a rogue President.

I don't think they suspected we could have a rogue President and a rogue leader in the Senate at the
same time,” Pelosi said of McConnell. The Kentucky Republican has said he was working in close
coordination with the White House on how the Senate trial would run and has denied Democratic
requests for witnesses and documents to be subpoenaed.

In a Thursday tweet, Trump accused Pelosi of being "afraid" of transmit the articles of impeachment
to the Senate. "Pelosi feels her phony impeachment HOAX is so pathetic she is afraid to present it
to the Senate, which can set a date and put this whole SCAM into default if they refuse to show up!"
he wrote on Twitter. "The Do Nothings are so bad for our Country!"...'

Trey Gowdy agreed with Graham on a clip from Fox news.  He says we should get it out of the way in a hurry, and we can always bring out the damaging evidence for Democrats in other ways, hopefully in trials.

What do you guys think?  Should we drag it out, or get it over with as soon as possible?

I'm all for a summary dismissal, citing lack of evidence as grounds. STRONGLY citing lack of evidence. STRONGLY and LOUDLY. BIGGLY.

Scuttlebutt has it that Pelosi won't let it go to trial in the senate to deny Trump the exoneration, but that is going to be a bad move, too - it's a talking point coup for the Republicans if she goes that route. They are trapped - there is no good way out of this for them now.

I'm very, very nervous about Pelosi being 2 steps down from the POTUS. So many assassination attempts have already been made against Trump that people don't even know about.  They have failed, obviously, but what if they are successful next time?  Only Pence would stand in the way then, and some think he is a black hat anyway.
She is already talking about how much more popular she is abroad than Trump.

Well, of course, when you allow corruption to run like a river for the "elite", I guess you WOULD be more popular with those in power.
She and all the top Dems make me sick!!

Strike all that!!  President Trump WILL NOT be assassinated!  Pence won't gain control, and Pelosi will NEVER BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Quote:Trump impeachment: President demands immediate Senate trial.

'US President Donald Trump has demanded an immediate impeachment trial in the Senate, amid an
impasse among Democrats and Republicans over when it may start.

On Wednesday, the House impeached Mr Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
But Democrats have refused to start the proceedings, arguing the Republican-controlled Senate is refusing
witnesses and will not hold a fair trial. The Senate's numbers mean Mr Trump is almost certain to be acquitted.

The impeachment process has been highly toxic and divided almost totally along party lines.
The two charges agreed on Wednesday follow accusations that Mr Trump pressured Ukraine to dig up damaging
information on Democratic rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and then refused to co-operate with a congressional
inquiry into the matter.

What has Mr Trump said?
In a series of tweets, the president accused the Democrats of not wanting to go to trial because their "case is so bad".

He tweeted: "So after the Democrats gave me no Due Process in the House, no lawyers, no witnesses, no nothing,
they now want to tell the Senate how to run their trial. Actually, they have zero proof of anything, they will never even
show up. They want out. I want an immediate trial!"

The president said the Democrats did not want Adam Schiff, who led the impeachment process, the Bidens and a CIA
whistleblower who sparked the inquiry to testify. The Democrats have argued that it is Mr Trump's Republicans who are
balking at the appearance of witnesses.
The House did also invite the president to testify before its investigators but he declined to do so.

Why is there deadlock over the start of the trial?
To get things rolling, the Democrat-controlled House must transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is refusing to do so until the rules of the Senate trial are acceptable to the Democrats.

The Senate's Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, will determine the terms of the trial and the Democrats want him to
provide details on which witnesses and what testimony will be allowed.
He has refused to play ball. "We remain at an impasse," he said, after a brief meeting with the Democrats' Senate minority
leader, Chuck Schumer.

Mr McConnell has the numbers.
There are 53 Republicans in the 100-seat Senate and impeachment would require a two-thirds majority in favour.
Mr McConnell has called the impeachment process the "most rushed, least thorough and most unfair" in history,
signalling the kind of bipartisan rancour expected when the trial starts.

The Democrats hope the delay will both move public opinion in favour of a fuller trial and deny Mr Trump - only the third US
president to be impeached - a swift acquittal.
The Democrats want at least four current and former White House aides with knowledge of the Ukraine affair to testify.

They say the trial has to be fair, with senators acting as impartial jurors, and that Mr McConnell's comments show he has
no plans to do this. He earlier said Republican senators would act in "total co-ordination" with the president's team.

What is the president accused of?
He is accused of having withheld $400m (£307m) of military aid to Ukraine already allocated by Congress, and a White House
meeting for Ukraine's new president, until Ukraine looked into potentially damaging material on Joe and Hunter Biden.
Hunter worked for a Ukrainian company when Joe Biden was US vice-president.

The Democrats say this amounts to an abuse of presidential power, using the office for personal political gain and to the detriment
of national security. Mr Trump is also accused of obstructing Congress by refusing to co-operate with the congressional inquiry...'

We all know President Trump is a master troll, but he topped himself this time.

The White House on Wednesday dispatched some staffers to head up the Capitol. They brought with them beautiful cards with hand-drawn calligraphy on them. They looked like Christmas cards.
But inside the envelopes addressed to lawmakers were copies of  President Trump’s brutal letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“True story: there is a White House staffer going around the Senate delivering to each office, as a package, the incoherent, scathing Pelosi letter AND … wait for it … a giant 16×12 White House Christmas card (along with, implausibly, a second smaller Christmas card). What a day,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) wrote on Twitter.

The White House staffers made sure they had one for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, too. She wrote on Twitter: “They’re coming into the House, too. (No Christmas card here – but no coal, either).”

Murphy responded to AOC’s post, writing: “I’m gonna start making that my new Christmas tradition – send out my Christmas cards with an attached screw-off letter listing all my grievances for the year.”

In the letter to the House Speaker, Trump ripped Pelosi and House Democrats for pursuing his impeachment.

“You are the ones interfering in America’s elections. You are the ones subverting America’s democracy. You are the ones obstructing justice,” he wrote.

“This is nothing more than an illegal, partisan attempted coup that will, based on recent sentiment, badly fail at the voting both,” the letter said. “You are not just after me, as president, you are after the entire Republican Party. History will judge you harshly as you proceed with this impeachment charade.”

“I have no doubt the American people will hold you and the Democrats fully responsible in the upcoming 2020 election. They will not soon forgive your perversion of justice and abuse of power,” the president wrote.

Trump also blasted Pelosi for saying she was praying for him.

“You are offending Americans of faith when you say, ‘I pray for the president,’ when you know this statement is not true, unless it is meant in a negative sense,” he said. “It is a terrible thing you are doing, but you will have to live with it, not I!”

Its in the news now that the Christianity Today supports that President Trump should step down/ be removed from office. For the people who dont know this news paper was set up by none other than Billy Graham, but if one looks at what this "news " paper has become one sees just how much the left has taken control and how sick the left has become.
Here is the answer that Billy Grahams son give about the text published in Christianity Today.

Quote:“Christianity Today released an editorial stating that President Trump should be removed from office—and they invoked my father’s name (I suppose to try to bring legitimacy to their statements), so I feel it is important for me to respond. Yes, my father Billy Graham founded Christianity Today; but no, he would not agree with their opinion piece. In fact, he would be very disappointed. I have not previously shared who my father voted for in the past election, but because of this article, I feel it is necessary to share it now. My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump. He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.

For Christianity Today to side with the Democrat Party in a totally partisan attack on the President of the United States is unfathomable. Christianity Today failed to acknowledge that not one single Republican voted with the Democrats to impeach the President. I know a number of Republicans in Congress, and many of them are strong Christians. If the President were guilty of what the Democrats claimed, these Republicans would have joined with the Democrats to impeach him. But the Democrats were not even unanimous—two voted against impeachment and one voted present. This impeachment was politically motivated, 100% partisan. Why would Christianity Today choose to take the side of the Democrat left whose only goal is to discredit and smear the name of a sitting president? They want readers to believe the Democrat leadership rather than believe the President of the United States.
Look at all the President has accomplished in a very short time. The economy of our nation is the strongest it has been in 50 years, ISIS & the caliphate have been defeated, and the President has renegotiated trade deals to benefit all Americans. The list of accomplishments is long, but for me as a Christian, the fact that he is the most pro-life president in modern history is extremely important—and Christianity Today wants us to ignore that, to say it doesn’t count? The President has been a staunch defender of religious freedom at home and around the world—and Christianity Today wants us to ignore that? Also the President has appointed conservative judges in record number—and Christianity today wants us to ignore that? Christianity Today feels he should be removed from office because of false accusations that the President emphatically denies.

Christianity Today said it’s time to call a spade a spade. The spade is this—Christianity Today has been used by the left for their political agenda. It’s obvious that Christianity Today has moved to the left and is representing the elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism.
Is President Trump guilty of sin? Of course he is, as were all past presidents and as each one of us are, including myself. Therefore, let’s pray for the President as he continues to lead the affairs of our nation.”

"Christianity Today" is being billed far and wide in the media as an "evangelical christian publication", but it's not. They are playing on the fact that it was initiated by evangelical Billy Graham, and are minimizing the fact that it has subsequently been taken over by a group of leftist Catholics.

Now Catholics, like Evangelicals and indeed the general population at large, are composed of all sorts of folks with all manner of political leanings, so I'm not trying to label the Catholic church as "Leftist". The fact remains that there is a faction that leans far to the left - the Jesuits who wrought such political havoc in Central America during the 1980's come to immediate mind.

Furthermore, this Leftist faction of Catholicism - in common with leftists wherever you find them - are the politically loud, sqwawky faction. Now, I don't hold with mixing my politics and my religion, as either one is explosive enough alone, but not everyone has the same sort of self-control that I do. Leftists in particular are notorious for their lack of self control and frequent emotional outbursts.

That's what has happened here - politically active leftist Catholics have taken over the rag, and this editorial piece was written by one of them, masquerading as an "evangelical" opinion because of the venue it was presented in. Franklin Graham has tried to set the record straight as to what evangelicals REALLY think, but has not met with much airplay in the media...

... it's as if the media is hiding something and trying to shape the national narrative, or something like that!

Quote:President Trump's legal team on Saturday issued a full-throttled defense to the articles of impeachment, refuting the substance and process of the charges while accusing House Democrats of engaging in a "dangerous attack" on the right of the American people to freely choose their president.

"This is a brazen and unlawful attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 election and interfere with the 2020 election -- now just months away," the legal filing said. "The highly partisan and reckless obsession with impeaching the president began the day he was inaugurated and continues to this day."

"The articles of impeachment are constitutionally invalid on their face," the seven-page filing continued.
The legal paperwork is the first formal response to the two articles of impeachment read in the Senate on Thursday for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Trump's lawyers argued that the articles of impeachment "violate the Constitution" and are "defective in their entirety" because they were the product of invalid House proceedings that "flagrantly denied the President any due process rights."

At the crux of Trump's defense is that he did nothing wrong in his July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine when he asked for investigations into Democrats. The White House argues that military aid to Ukraine was ultimately released without any announcement of investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

The lawyers contend House Democrats fail to allege any crime or violation of law whatsoever, let alone, high crimes or misdemeanors.

"In order to preserve our constitutional structure of government, to reject the poisonous partisanship that the Framers warned against, to ensure one-party political impeachment vendettas do not become the 'new normal,' and to vindicate the will of the American people, the Senate must reject both Articles of Impeachment," Trump's legal team wrote. "In the end, this entire process is nothing more than a dangerous attack on the American people themselves and their fundamental right to vote."

The response is the first of many expected in the coming days from Trump's growing legal team as they battle to acquit the commander in chief in the Senate impeachment trial.

President Trump hired the best of the best lawyers, that's for sure.  It tells me he wants there to be a trial; why else hire these lawyers if they just plan to throw it out at the beginning?
Lots of disclosure about to come out regarding the corruption on the Left. This may be what he had planned all along to get the public "in the know" before the arrests take place.

Sorry, I got busy watching other videos after the impeachment trial was over.  Here is the video from yesterday.

Other channels broke away when the speaker (forget her name) started covering the damaging information about the Bidens, but C Span didn't. She broke it down fact by fact... completely demolished Joe and Hunter Biden.
Worth the watch, especially if anyone is thinking about voting for him in 2020.  He's crook, always has been a crook, always will be a crook!

The first speaker was a tad boring in my opinion, but he did bring out some great points.
Alan Dershowitz KILLED the whole impeachment idea being legal to go forward, and even addressed Bolton's new book that just happened to leak now.  How convenient!  Dershowitz said, even IF what Bolton says is true, it's not an impeachable offense.
