However, she may have fell upon hard times and is using her 'brusque' features and talents to supplement her income in

Some would call her a temerarious entrepreneur and others might say she's full of shit and silicon.
(Mind you, it is in England, so those bulges may be nothing more than rolled-up rugby socks).
If someone said she worked for the same newspaper she was displayed in, it wouldn't surprise me either, but something
flattened that nose.
