near Walsall. He had previously admitted three charges of making indecent images, processing a prohibited image
and possessing extreme pornography.
Judge Roderick Henderson said: "These are not victimless crimes. The photos involve real children to whom real things
are being done. "The court will do it's best to protect these children."
Henderson sentenced Avery to a three year community order and ordered him to sign on the sex offenders register for
five years.
Defending his decision to not pass a prison sentence, Henderson said that it would have only been short and Avery would
have likely been able to spent time with pedophiles...'
