Do you recall "hot pants".. "hip-huggers" and "daisy dukes"? The more things change, the more they stay the same... I recall my ma, and grandma making the same observation on then-current trends that you make here.

Just an old lady that had been around long enough to figure it all out.

The whole thing is about shocking the viewer.

If the people doing the shocking were unattractive to begin with it wouldn't slip past the censors.

Makes a strong case for the Burka now, don't it? 

I think they are going for it full steam ahead.
