I don't think Trump is doing anything that any of the other corrupt, greedy, lying, government officials are doing.
He gets the extra attention because he is not a member of the inside of the beltway crowd. He is too coarse, and arrogant to fly under the radar.
Not for one second am I making excuses for Trump, nor am I suggesting he be let off the hook, but he is not nearly as guilty as some of the others, and they have been doing it for a hell of a lot longer.
If you find a politician that is not a greedy, lying, con man/woman, they will never make it to Capitol Hill, and if they do, by some miracle, make it there, they will not be there for very long. They will either conform, or they will removed.
When you research his background and discover his close circle of friends/advisors back in the 70s-80s (most were high level mafia types) then it starts making more sense who Trump really is and how he got to be president. It's all rather amazing when you consider who his uncle was and what he accomplished. The Don went a completely different path to power.
