This 1985 movie "Warning Sign" starring Sam Waterston was based in part on a true story using fictional Bio company named Agrotek. Real name was "Agracetus", later acquired by Monsanto + DoD that operated in Wisconsin.

Funny, how many of these deadly viruses are found in parts unknown that most can't even find on a map...that make their way back to a military run lab where some mad scientists weaponize the shit out of it, all under the cover of "Dual" Gain-of-Function research to develop a vax...which is a loophole in the 1972 Bio-weapons convention that prohibits such weapon development that the USA signed.
